They've made me feel so comfortable & are so easy when it comes to scheduling. I've seen a few different drs and I can't say anything I disliked about any of them. Highly recommend this place.

If you want an office that will actually care about you and treat you like an individual and not be seen by robots, do NOT go here. We recently moved to the east valley and needed a new OB as I have a high risk pregnancy due to my previous medical history. I explained to them on the phone if this was someone their office could handle and I needed to see an OB not a nurse or a midwife due to the complications of my pregnancy. I was scheduled for an ultrasound and "doctor's " visit. The front desk seemed more concerned about their nails and hair than doing their job. I had to redo the same paperwork 3 times because the girl upfront kept deleting it. The ultrasound tech was rude and just seemed annoyed we were there. She has zero personality. While the medical assistant was extremely nice; she did not seem to know what was going on; her nails were longer than her fingers which don't seem professional in a medical setting or even sanitary & she was chewing gum with her mouth open as she spoke to us twirling her hair and ignoring most of what I was saying. I was seen not by a doctor but a nurse; she 100% ignored my questions and concerns. I was then told thy were not going to do anything but have me come back because " we don't even know if you have a viable pregnancy " I was 6 days earlier than we thought and instead of being professional she was rude and heartless. This causes so much unnecessary stress. We got TWO second options that same week and they BOTH agreed the due date would be moved and baby was healthy and growing and there was NO reason to say what she said especially since I am still nursing and there is zero way to know the exact date of conception. When I told her what she said " no you HAVE to be this far along and you're just not matching that " It causes so much unnecessary stress but the way the entire appointment was handled was unprofessional and has zero human compassion. The only reason that I even stopped to wright this review was because the front desk called me today to verify that I canceled my apt. When I said yes I decided to go with an office with better bedside manner her response was " oh yeah that TOTALLY makes sense " and laughed and hung up.

All providers and staff remained the same as it was all branches of the overall practice. It is a large building and located in Suite 314. It is not very clear in the directory, but you will take the elevator to the 3rd floor. I found immediately once exiting the elevator. Everything looked new and maintained well, so I can see why they transitioned to this office. Upon check in, you will be directed to take a urine sample typically and then take a seat in the lobby as you await to be taken to a room. The bathroom is on the right hand side after the desk. It is much farther back than you realize, and don't want you entering the wrong room! Especially since there is a room labeled L and M, which I initially thought could be Ladies and Men. Oops! The lobby is spacious and seats 20+ people. The chairs are spacious if you wanted to spread out as Covid is still prevalent at times, plus any nasty bugs going around. I personally like to social distance though this is a normal practice to come in sick sick. Overall, it was pretty comfortable while you wait and I did enjoy the third level views from the windows that bring in natural light. As for the type of care and care quality, I must say they have some exceptional staff!!! Donna Bouley N.P. was absolutely amazing this visit! Extremely thorough in reviewing family history, my chart, and tailoring prescription to exactly what I need. She also advocated for me to be able to schedule and see a surgeon for a consult for something I've been trying to advocate for myself for over a decade. Truly appreciative of the care received at this office this week, and all the past visits as they diagnosed a tumor and have been great monitoring it. I cannot recommend them enough!

The front office staff was friendly and helpful as well. I will 100% be making another appointment when needed. Insurance was easy paying process the whole nine yards. I will recommend this place to anyone looking for a better women's care office!

Three strikes your out. I have been going to this office for…read more13 years. Dr.Beck delivered my kid. I loved Dr.Beck. He was awesome. He retired in December. (sad face) I figured I just needed an IUD swapped out, no big deal, anyone can do that, it's bread and butter procedure....right? Apparently not. The incompetance at this office is extrodinary. The first appointment I went expecting to get the IUD. They said nope this is just a consult. A consult for what? Do you have a vagina? It's a replacement!! Whatever, I know that insurance requires a bunch of hoop jumping. I wish that had been communicated before the appointment. That made me grumpy, but I know it's not usually the persons fault that delivers the news. I also asked about hormone replacement therapy and how I was just feeling off... she glossed over my concerns and I pretty much felt like she wrote me off. Okay, maybe this is all just a miscommunication? Maye we got off on the wrong foot? I'll give them another shot. Second visit, I went in to to get the IUD. I told them I DID NOT want my strings cut. Dr.Beck just swirled them around my cervix last time and it worked like magic. I requested they do the same thing. The PA had never heard of that before and proceeded to make me feel like I was an idiot for suggesting something so ridiculous as uncut strings. I said "That's what I remembered, but i guess we will see when you get in there." PA puts on gloves and proceeds to GRAB THE BOTTOM OF THE STOOL to scoot forward. GROSS!! (If i get and STI I'll know where I picked it up at.) How many times has she grabbed the bottom of the stool to scoot forward?? How many people juices are on the bottom of that stool?? I was in absolute shock trying to process, and I was trying really hard to be extra nice... so I didn't say anything. (That one is on me. I learned ALWAYS speak up. Maybe I should have asked them to wait while I processed?) Then my favorite part happened, she put the speculum in and proceed to carry on and on about how the speculum wouldn't stay, "Look medical assistant, do you see this?!?!?" and then proceeds to let it slide out. GOT IT!! I have cavernous lady parts that birthed some really awesome kids. JUST GET A BIGGER SPECULUM!!!!! Stop makind such a big deal about my grand canyon. She proceed to have the Medical Assitant hold the speculum inside me. PA pulls out the IUD and guess what??? The strings are completly intact. They were never cut. She proceed to go on and on about how she has never seen strings this long. Then she tells me she doesn't know how to do that and cuts my strings so short. Exactly what I didnt want. I would have waited for you to talk to a collegue and figure that part out.... GRRR. Third visit to check my strings. (Here is where the office as a whole got an extra star. I had left a comment about my previous visits and the office reached out to me and moved me to another provider. Thank you for that.) The new provider couldn't find my strings. She could not see them or feel them and told me I needed to get an ultrasound to confirm placement. My insurace doesn't cover that. So they wanted to charge me something like $200 buck for an ultrasound, to confirm placement of the the IUD... because there were no strings... the strings that I asked them not to cut... Can you see where my frustartions are starting to arise? (Dr.Beck did those for free. Man I miss him. He was just a really good doctor.) I'm intentionally not leaving the name of the provider because she was really young, probably fresh out of PA school. I don't want to brand her on the internet forever, but hopefully the clinic see this. They know exactly which provider it was and who needs some more training. And if your provider is the one that screws up I don't think I should be held financially responsible for something that I DIRECTLY ASKED THEM NOT TO DO. The office should swallow the cost on that one. Thus far, I haven't gotten the ultrasound as a matter of principle. But my recommendation to anyone who hung on for this whole story is, don't go here. Don't go with corporate because apparently they suck and don't give a crap about you as a patient. Now I'm looking for a new provider. I hate that part. Once I find one I love I like to keep them forever.

However, here are the things I wish I had known before I chose him as my provider: There were times during my labor and delivery that he didn't know who I was. He kept confusing me with other patients. This was entertaining in some instances and not in others - for example, when he confused me with someone else who under no circumstances wanted a C-section. My baby's heart was in distress, my own heart (with a documented and discussed history of arrhythmia) was tachycardic, my water had ruptured more than 30 hours before (a month prematurely), I was running a temperature, and I was only dilated to a 2, and yet *I* had to be the one to bring up the possibility of a C-section. He was shocked when I did, because he thought I was vehemently against surgical intervention. This, despite the fact that two days before at my 35 week appointment, we literally shook hands that he would lean toward C-section if things went south. Another instance of him not knowing who I was: my water broke at midnight, so I called the answering service. They took my name and gestational age, and within a minute I was speaking to the doctor who informed me to head to Banner Gateway. I saw him the next morning, where he looked at my chart and expressed surprise that I was only 35 weeks pregnant. This could have been dangerous if my baby had been any more premature than she was, as Banner Gateway isn't as well equipped to take care of premature babies as Banner Desert is. Even if the answering service failed to tell him my weeks of gestation, shouldn't he have asked? Or shouldn't he have remembered, considering I saw him 12 hours before that phone call, at my 35 week appointment? At first I thought it was neat that he spent so much time with his patients and that he does all the ultrasounds personally. But ultimately what that means is that he and his staff are over-extended, and you WILL wait at each appointment; possibly up to an hour. I couldn't figure out why he wouldn't just hire an ultrasound tech to re-distribute some of the work, because lord knows the man has plenty of demand. (I even had a hospital staff member say to me incredulously, "He sure delivers a lot of babies...") I assume he just doesn't want to pay another staff member, but the entire practice suffers as a result, and it doesn't look good for him. Tip: If you choose him as your provider, get into the habit of asking for the very first appointment of the morning. (And even then, you might have a wait, depending on how his early-morning rounds at the hospital go. But it's your best hope.) The ultrasound equipment is ancient; forget about seeing clear images of your baby. You'll be lucky if you can make out a spine or a head. My best friend was pregnant at the same time as me and the difference between our ultrasound photo keepsakes makes me sad. I had no concept of my daughter's face or profile before she was born. The office itself is very old and tired and decorated like an 80's Relief Society room. There's a Book of Mormon in the lobby. (I'm even Mormon but found that off-putting.) At my first appointment, they gave me a little trinket that I got the strong impression was intended to be distributed in the parking lots of Planned Parenthood clinics - a pin showing you the size of your baby's feet at 10 weeks, and I think there was a scripture? If I recall correctly? All of this to say, I did not get the impression that the doctor would be supportive of all of a woman's options and rights when it comes to pregnancy. At my six week follow up, he talked about prescribing me a birth control pill that could have caused my milk to dry up. Luckily I was informed enough to know that as a nursing mother I needed a pill without estrogen - but if I hadn't known that, it could have been disastrous to my milk supply. Also, as soon as I left my six week follow up, I realized he never cleared me for sex! I thought that was the whole point of the six week appointment!! It was never mentioned. I don't plan to have any more children, but if that changes, I won't be seeing Dr. Holmes again. He's a very nice man and his team is as wonderful as all the reviews say (Alejandra in particular is a true gem), but everything considered I cannot recommend the practice.
