We picked the doors we liked and we were then sent through the quote the following day. We went ahead with the order and within a week or so we were updated with a provisional fitting date. This was confirmed a few weeks later, keeping us informed along the way. The day of the install went perfectly, James and his team arrived on time and started the work. All the work was completed within the day and they let everything clean and tidy. The doors are of a high quality and we no longer have the draft blowing through like we did with the old ones. It proves that the…read morefriendly helpful service from a small local shop can beat that of a large shop like Homebase (which is just over the road) The shop is jam packed with DIY items and is used by most of the local trades people for their supplies. They have items on special offer all around the door, and if you are looking for something specific, there are staff on hand to help you out. They will of course order item in for you or help you find the awkward replacement screw. They do key cutting while you wait and also seem to be one of the only local shops to do photocopying at the moment.

Don't forget to sort it before you go: you can't just dump everything in one skip here, any more than you can in one bin at home. Try to get there early in the morning especially on weekends: there's usually a queue of cars later on with drivers waiting to get in and disgorge their heaving mounds of rubbish. There is a 'general' skip for anything you've got that doesn't fit in any of the recognised categories, but the place is staffed so don't think you can just offload in here either! The staff are actually very alert and keep a watchful eye on all activities of visitors.
