Let me begin this "arbor adventure" by saying I had initially contacted Helping Hand Tree Services to handle some issues with some trees at the front of my house. They were working at the Niwot Inn trimming trees when I first met them. They took my phone and said they would contact me shortly. The owner Joe did come by and offered suggestions on what needed to be done . I hired them to take down two trees and trim another in the front. (Please check my yelp review on the outstanding job Helping Hand crew had done.) While he was here I took Joe to the back of my house and I showed him five Austrees that concerned me. They were some 100'+ tall and not in good condition. There were some four large loose large limbs hanging over my roof and my powerline had been taken down earlier. Joe said it would be best to remove them all. At this point he said Ward at ProLift services would need to be brought in. Nothing could be done as there was no access behind my house. They often team up as Ward has this 125' Crane truck which can reach over the house to snatch these monsters up. Both companies were working together here for just under two days and it was amazing. We had many in town watching, taking pictures, and gasping over the entertainment. Once again, their activities are best described as a ground and aerial ballet of the first order. Next time I have any tree work done I'll plan to charge admission for the onlookers. ProLift Crane Services made it possible!

Having come from the Oil patch I knew the importance of a great rigging team. These are the guys! In all my years I never saw two forklifts work like one! Their crew was not scheduled to show until 8:30 AM but the crew chief was there at 7:12 AM to assess the situation!!! They showed up with two forklifts with custom crane attachments that allowed them to use straps vs. chains to baby the new machines off the flat bed. They were very familiar with the way these machines are crated and expertly un-crated the heavy machine like we open an Amazon box! But watching the two forklifts maneuver this huge machine and place it when I honestly didn't see how they could get both forklifts in the room was like watching Stanley Cup hockey! Their prices are VERY reasonable but the care and professionalism is what makes them shine.

First scheduled time, on the morning of the boom, FRCrane, LLC - determined they would need a Right-of-Way permit - we had been told that they were all set to go and expected that they would have worked this out before the day of delivery. 2nd time, we have the labor and are ready and waiting at the scheduled time - they "can't do it" that day. Third scheduled appointment - no show, no call, no return call. Not even a courtesy call. Our company operates honestly and ethically. We take particular pride in providing quality work and in particular - keeping jobs on schedule! Due to Front Range Crane's irresponsibility - we are now two weeks off schedule for this job. As a General Contractor, in 45 years we have never experienced such an unprofessional crane company.
