The final product was a gorgeous wooden box with a flash drive and a few printed photos and we were touched by the personalization and thoughtfulness. We were able to view samples from each of the photographers before my husband and I agreed on the one, Sarah S. Sarah was amazing. She called me at the beginning of our wedding week to go over specific details and help map out the photography schedule for the wedding day. The day of our wedding - she was wonderful!! Sarah seemed to understand what was important to us and was sure to capture special memories without being too much to us or our guests. Another great feature of George Street is the online portal which allows you to make payments and select photographs that are important to you! The "lead" photographer that day was passive aggressie and Controlling. I tried to work with their customer service team and they were only trying to edit the photos. Editing will do nothing as moments were missed, like the groom's face when i walked down the aisle, and the direction from the photographers just were not there. George Street has tarnished the memory of the best day of my life. Well, my dad got on the photography section on Craigslist. Yes, dangerous. And found Ruut and RMD Portraits. She was reasonably priced, had nice work on her website, and could meet us during our only free block of time. We sent a modest deposit and hoped we weren't going to be taken for a ride or met by a pornographer. Well, gosh were we pleasantly surprised. Despite a broken ankle, broken glasses and forgetting our clothes (no, not like that), Ruut showed up, took over and turned things around. She did an amazing job for my family, at an amazing price. We had so much fun and everyone loved the pictures. You should very much consider RMD Portraits for your special event! Also, did I mention we got all the proofs less than 24 hours after the session?
