I was told there was a 97% recovery rate for my condition and that I'd be back to rock climbing and sports in a number of months. However, both the 1st and 2nd surgeries performed by Dr. Paul Abbot completely failed. My strength and mobility plummeted 80% after my treatment at this facility. I was in FAR better health prior to walking into VSON. They ruined my body. Another surgeon did his best to clean it up a couple years later. He gave me some improvement, but 13 years later I am in crippled agony. I've called a few times over the years to plead for some consideration to my outcomes, but they do not care for that. They are of course happy to see me again, restart the process, and give me another enormous bill, but there is no real sympathy or concern shown for how they ruined my athleticism and left me with chronic lifelong pain at the age of 22. Imagine paying tens of thousands of dollars for this outcome. It genuinely keeps me up at night. That and the pain. Maybe their new doctors are better, but don't be fooled when they say they care about you.

He had fixed it up and gave me the short term limitations (lifting) which I followed and to this day, no problems. 2) Just recently I had a ruptured appendix and went to ER. I was fortunate to pull Dr. Jones to do this cleanup and fix. The rupture was extensive and most of the work was to clean up the bad stuff in my abdomen. He had to use over 3 liters of saline to clean out the rupture so I did not die from being septic. Whilst in the hospital, he did swing by every day to check and chat. He listened to everything I said and asked, then gave clear answers/directions. A close friend of mine is a nurse that knows Dr. Jones and said I was fortunate to have him to address the rupture as he is meticulous in his work and has always been a highly regarded surgeon in the medical community. I am here writing this review due to his quality standards.

I better check him out. I saw 3 other surgeons to inquire about the pain in my knee. I had 3 different views and I wanted his expert opinion. Well, he agreed with the 1st and 3rd surgeon, that they were onto the right diagnosis and he could take care of it. Dr. Garramone spent as much time as I needed, not rushed out the door after a few moments... unlike some of the other Drs.... just saying... I liked his precise analysis along with his suggestion to also use PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma) Therapy.. so I said yes to him and scheduled my surgery. I really liked the hospital he was at and I got all emotional when Sky Ridge sent me a get well postcard with everyones signature. I'm a big baby... anyway the hospital was efficient, quick and staff was excellent! My surgery recovery, can I say surgery recovery was Great? Sure, it hurt but I expect when you cut into somebody's body and do stuff to a bone, it's going to hurt! But, Every Day I Got Better! I even took pictures so I could be distant from the healing process and remember exactly what it looked like instead of relying on my memory. I'm currently 7 weeks out from the torn meniscus and a whole bunch of other stuff he did, but again, Every Day, I feel better. Yes, it feels better than it did before and I could tell that after 5 days! Would I recommend him, a big Yes - 5 Stars completely. Go for it!!! VJ

He explained about the necessity of the labrum and told me that`s why I was in such pain all the time. He did surgery on it, told all about the recovery time, what I could and could not do, and after the follow up visit suggested a Platelet-Rich Plasma injection, which I believe helped expidite my healing. I would highly recommend Dr Garramone. His office personnel are extremely attentive, answer any further questions and return calls immediately. Outstanding experience!!

The intake process was amazingly simple I already had completed everything online prior to the procedure. We just went a double staff had everything ready and I was rolled into surgery on time. I also appreciated how kind and professional everyone was and if I ever have to have a surgery again Which I will in December I know it will be as smooth as my October surgery.
