If I could give zero stars I would I should have known this place was a red flag when I saw on the citizen app where a lady got her purse snatched from off the chair while getting a pedicure. But...because they are down the street, I gave them some play anyway. Turns out, they ate cheaper than my usual nailer. Now I see why.​ The polish on my toes were lumpy, and started peeling after a week. My usual pedi polish last a month-2. Today went there to get my hands and toenails painted for Christmas as soon as I walk through the door the door hadn't even closed yet they were already putting me in the chair not giving me a chance to pick colors or even inquire about how much the total service was going to cost... soon as I walked in they were ready to put me in a chair so when I finally got a price quoted I was told that the fingernails were going to be $15 and the toenails were going to be $20 total $35- exactly what I expected to pay So, after they kept rushing me into a seat I sat down and some woman just came in and just started slapping acrylic on my nails when I didn't even ask for an acrylic service first of all I'm a chef I'm not even supposed to wear fake nails because of the risk of physical contamination falling into the food they were just supposed to polish my natural nail so what they did was without question or anything they just started putting acrylic on my nails that's how she was able to extract the extra $15 out of me so instead of getting my hands and feet done for $35 she is charged me $35 for the hands because of acrylic that I didn't even ask for. That's when I figured, well of course, by then it was too late, but I figured that that they were only taking advantage of the Holiday Rush, the holiday spirit and the money that people tend to spend on the holidays so what I did when I got home, I reported them to ICE for fraud. I suggest you all do the same. P.S. And THEY pick your colors for you. So you're better off bringing your own polish, because the choices are limited as it is, but they pick what they want you wear. Customer service is horrible. The pedicure was not enjoyable for me. Not only did I smell the bathroom like someone ate real bad chill cheese but they didn't clean my toes right. It looks like I paid for color change not pedicure. Then not only were they trying to rush me out the pedicure chair I had to wait about 25 min for the lady to do my nails mind you they told me a different lady so then when she gets up I asked when is she ready then she said no not me and pointed to the lady that ate the chili cheese. This is my second time visiting this salon as they offer extended hours, which are complementary to my schedule. During both experiences, they got the job done. However, the service isn't that great. While they stay open until 10:30PM, I always feel somewhat rushed upon arrival. I get the impression that the techs are ready to leave and taking select customers. My first visit was in May. I arrived by the required time and the hostess suggested her sister as the tech, but she refused. Last night while being serviced by another tech, whose English wasn't the greatest, I asked the same tech from May who refused to service me, about her English language skills. She looked me right in my face and said not great a few times. Shortly after, I was seated in the same area as said tech and she's speaking in perfect English to her sister, a male friend and her client. During the conversation, I learned that her name was Gina so I called her name. She ignored me. As she was walking out the store I called her name again. This time she couldn't ignore me as she walked right by me. I started to ask her why she told me she didn't speak English, but before I could get it out, she cut me off advising that she didn't want to get involved, which was baffling as I literally only wanted to ask about neon finger nail polish. #1 thing going for this place: stays open late until 10pm, just beware the characters that lurk around the entrance. Look, I was in a crunch to get my nails done and by 6:30pm most shops are about to close or they charge too much. So to see this place be open late I knew something had to be wrong & I was not let down. They do offer LOTS of stations for hands & feet, but it can become a zoo in there. It was lovely to be greeted by a guy tweaking/homeless sitting next to the front door, but I was sat down with a tech quickly. They have a price board but by the way they heard the ladies I wasn't able to decide if I could afford them and was told 3 different prices. Once seated (had a 3 week old gel manicure to be redone) the tech asked if I wanted a French/American Manicure & if I wanted acrylic which I said no & which dropped my basic gel manicure to $15. That's pretty good price, but sadly a lady next to me had to haggle her price when the tech would charge more for anything extra. It the worst services ever. I going to explain why. I went with two extra people to do our feet. One person they their feet with regular nail polish and got charged $25 and the others one with gel polish got charge $35. But when it come to me this older man charged me $30, just to clean the feet no nail polish. He charged me a refill $25 and $3 ea for two fingers that's nail come out. I do wish I could give this place 5 stars, but I have high quality taste and the atmosphere is not spa-ish and beautiful how I like. Also, the paint job on my toes weren't that great. It's in the hood and its a little too crowded for me. It was a quiet visit though for a Saturday early afternoon. I loved my nail technician. His name was Peter. He was young and personable and nice. We talked the entire time and I'm usually quiet while getting my nail services done. One thing that stood out there was that they still use the cheese grater thing (which I always wanted to try but never did and heard it was illegal). Oh well, I'm glad he got whatever callouses I may have had lol. I didn't like the nail polish brands. I'm used to OPI or China Glaze at least and didn't see either so I was a little taken aback by that. My pedicure didn't turn out bad; it got done quickly. I liked it the actually massage and scrub, but I think the polish job wasn't great because of the nail polish brand. Overall, good experience and one of my better nail salon experiences. This place is a joke! I treated myself and my friend for her bday to a mani and pedi. When I asked the lady how much for my friend, because she wanted gel on her finger nails, the lady said $47. Ok!
