On the way up to Albion for the weekend, my brakes started making a really loud grinding noise…read more Being the last stop before driving into the middle of nowhere, we thought it best to take my car in for a quick look just to be safe. Found Express Oil and Car Repair on yelp, and that it was close and decided to take it in. It turns out my brakes were down to the metal, and the bare brake pad was scraping against my rotor. We were told that they could order the parts for us, but they wouldn't be able to complete the work til saturday morning. We needed to get up the coast Friday night, and feared we'd have to have someone drive two hours to pick us up. Susan to the rescue! She helped us call a local rental car place, and we were able to pick up the LAST rental car they had and take it for the weekend! Robert offered to fix my car and leave it at the shop on Sunday for us to pick up, and Susan offered to drive our rental car back to the shop on Monday so that we wouldn't be delayed at all. They even gave us a ride to the car rental shop! Picked my car up on Sunday with both front rotors and brakes repaired for a very reasonable price, and only delayed our roadtrip about 30 minutes. We could not be more grateful for the wonderful service and kindness. They saved our weekend! I would highly recommend this shop to anyone in the area, or anyone passing through! They will absolutely go above and beyond to make sure you're taken care of. Thank you again!!

I spent hours researching and learning the complexities, calling radio repair, discussing with the dealer, etc. No one could help and no one got back to me, I was told it would be almost impossible to replace and extremely expensive to fix................ For the little driving we do, we opted for the less expensive option, happy to just get FM back, but how wonderful to have a choice! Our insurance company was being so difficult so we ended up calling this company directly. The representative who answered the phone was so helpful and even gave us some tips on dealing with our insurance company. We had already been stranded for about an hour in 100 degree weather with 3 kids in the middle of no where. The representative sent someone out right away with waters for all of us and said they'd send out the bigger truck so we could all fit in for the ride. Our driver Daniel arrived and we were on our way. As we arrived at the Tesla charging station, we discovered the car was so dead we couldn't even open the doors or get it to start charging. Daniel stayed out there with my husband for what had to be about an hour and a half trying to help him figure it out. He allowed my kids and I to stay in the tow truck with the AC. Daniel had to call another truck out to help and all was resolved. I am very grateful for how quickly they got to us, how understanding they were, and how patient they were. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for helping us on what was such a stressful day!
