Updated July 28, 2025 from my original review 4 years ago. It's interesting that all of a sudden…read moreJason got two 5-star reviews on the SAME DAY from people who don't have any other yelp history. It seems very suspicious and then I got a message from Angela saying I need to not be so hateful when in fact, I'm sharing my experience and those of my community. BEWARE!!! Original review here: I'd love to give ZERO stars, but I can't go lower than 1 star. We have a shared dirt driveway with our neighbors and needed it to get redone. If you like projects that were supposed to be 2 weeks and have turned into 9 weeks with no end in sight, having construction work start at 5 pm, no shows, lots of excuses, property damage, paying upfront ... then Jason at Green Excavation is your guy. We had to cut our losses at $4000 and terminate Jason without any of the material he promised (he said we wouldn't get any even though we paid upfront). We now have to hire people who know what they're doing and it will cost $20k to undo the damage he has done, and then additional money on top of that for the project. We have had 3 professionals come to look at what Jason did and they all agree he doesn't know what he is doing. It's embarrassing because we paid 2/3 upfront and we should have done more research. Please learn from me. The lowest price does not mean the best deal. Our poor neighbors decided to keep working with him for their upper part of the driveway, it's been 4 months and their driveway and yard looks like a war zone. STILL NOT DONE!

I met Jason at the house that I was renovating needing to clean out my backyard of Small trees and brush. A contract with sign which he would clear out all vegetation place topsoil and reseed for planting grass. During the renovation he discovered that there were rocks in the soil and stated that it took him longer than he expected. I did let him know that we agreed he would clean the area. After it was mostly cleaned he then wanted the rest of his money. I let him know that the job was not done though I needed to rake and get rid of all the smaller rocks and roots myself which I was not expecting to do. Getting closer to completion he now is asking for more money, wanting $325 more for grass seed. I let him know that we signed a contract and seeding was included. Because of his whining I did agree to pay him an extra $225. When I arrived at the completed project he did not put any topsoil in at all. If I was to have all the smaller rocks and roots removed that would be an additional $800. Finally after already paying him he wants to come back and take the boulders and rocks for someone else that he has promised them to. I explained that I had already given them away and he was upset over this. I have friends that are currently using him at the same time and he has destroyed their driveway and costing them thousands of dollars. I would never use him again and strongly recommend that you find someone else.

After the job was done, I called because the edges were bubbly, cracked & full of holes. They said it would settle with time.... Then came a month later without even tellling me they were coming (I was at work). They patched the holes/cracks and now it looks worse than it did before they tried to fix it. DON'T USE THIS COMPANY!!! Thank you.

My experience with Premier Paving has been a disaster. In October 2021 I contacted them for two…read morepaving jobs. My residential driveway needed to have some patching done and then the entire driveway was to be re-surfaced. My next door neighbor also wanted her driveway paved as well. Premier informed me that they were booked through the season, but that they would provide "rough estimates" and do these jobs in the spring of 2022. My neighbor and I agreed to this. I drew maps of the two driveways and delivered these to Premier. A day later we received the "rough estimates" and were told that Premier would visit both sites in the spring to give us firm estimates. In April of 2022 Premier did visit both sites and sent my neighbor and me new "firm" estimates. Mine was 1,200.00 more than the rough estimate, but it also stated that the re-surfacing coat would be one and a half inches thick, and not two inches thick as the previous estimate stated. I told Premier that I was "okay" about the increased price, however, I was not happy about the reduction of the re-surfacing coat. Heidi from Premier emailed me and said that this reduction had been an error, and that she would correct this and prepare a new estimate. I was told that Premier would complete my job "probably in June". I never did receive a corrected estimate, but since I was told they would do my driveway in June, I thought everything was good to go. My neighbor also accepted the estimate sent to her. In May they appeared at my neighbor's home to do some excavation and prep work for the paving of her driveway. Since my neighbor is a single mom, I try to look out and help her out when I can. I went over to check to see how Premier was doing. The area they had prepped looked great. However, there was a twelve foot by twelve foot area that was included on the map I provided to them that they had not prepped. I pointed this out to them, and was told that Randy had painted the ground they were to prep earlier that morning, and that 12 by 12 space had not been included so they could not do that. I had them telephone Randy and I explained that they had skipped this area. Randy told me that this area was NOT included in the original "rough estimate" and if my neighbor wanted it paved, it coast an additional $1,000.00. I had a copy of the same map that I gave Premier and said that it was included in the square footage I provided them. Randy called me a liar, and said, "People do this all the time. They give me one map when I start a job, and then give me another map later on and try to get me to do more work." I was extremely angry because this was NOT the case. I asked him to look at the map I gave Premier that the first estimate was based on. I was told that they could not find their copy of the map, but they were certain the 12 by 12 area was not included. My neighbor grudingly agreed to pay the extra money, and so Premier did prep this area. The next day I re-measured my neighbor's driveway and arrived at the same square footage that I had included and submitted to Premier in October. I called Premier up to talk about this. I was told by Heidi that they had found the copy of the map I provided them, and that yes, the 12 by 12 area WAS on the map and included in the square footage I provided. There was NO apology for they calling me a liar, or telling me that I had tried to cheat them into paving more than was on the map. They did say that they had not included this area in their estimate (curious since it was on the map and included in my square footage) and that they would need $600.00 more, not the $1,000,00 they initially demanded. My neighbor agreed to this even though I believed this area was included in the earlier estimate. Well into mid-July I emailed Premier to inquire when they would return to pave our driveways. I was told that they would be paving in our area in two weeks, and both jobs would be done then. Heidi then said that they had not received a signed estimate from me. I explained that they had made a mistake on the last estimate that they sent me, and that she was going to correct the error that "shrunk" the thickness of my re-surfacing. Because I had not received a copy, or been told that I was required to sign a copy I had not done this. I told Heidi if she sent me a corrected copy, I would sign it and return it to their office the same day. She did email me a corrected estimate in the amount of $6,760, and I signed the estimate and hand delivered it to her at the Premier office the same day. Two days later I saw that I had an email from Premier, and I opened it thinking it would tell me when they would come to pave my driveway. My neighbor's driveway had just been paved a few days earlier. Instead this emailed stated that they could NOT complete the job for the price they quoted me. They wanted $1,240.00 more money. I was surprised and angry since we had agreed to a price. I asked them to honor the quote they provided, and they refused.

Tyler of Pipe Dreams Sewer & Drain is *fantastic*. I've lived in my townhouse condo for nearly 12…read moreyears, and the kitchen sink has never drained marvelously well. I had understood that it was due at least in part to a shallow grade of the outlet pipe...whatever. A couple of years ago, it had gradually become clogged enough that it was draining painfully slowly. I had RotoRooter out to clear it, and when the work was done, it was much better. It drained just fine, like before. Over two or three months this past fall, it gradually slowed down again, and I waited because I remembered how expensive it was the last time. Finally, there was no more waiting. It had become gross, it was so *disgustingly* slow, and I was even wondering whether it would require major work of some kind. I am so happy to have seen the glowing reviews here of Pipe Dreams. I called them & they were able to get me in in two days. Tyler was here for about an hour, and the tools he used were very different from the long, manual snake that RotoRooter had used. It/they were motorized things that had a reach far down the pipes. Tyler explained that he was staying mindful of the neighbors' pipes and not disturbing those. When he was done, he filled the sink with water & then released it. Since we bought this place all those years ago, I had NEVER seen it empty so fast, and I didn't even think it was possible. The water began to spin and make the most beautiful whirlpool and then was gone. The whole time he was here, Tyler could not have been more considerate, clear in his communication, and helpful. He also gave me tips on how to keep the drain clear. I kept meaning to write this review soon after he was here, but it's now been three months - oops! Here is the bright side to the delay: I can report that the sink has been draining wonderfully ever since, and it makes me soooo happy every time I use the sink. Call Pipe Dreams! You will be glad you did.

They were reliable, open and honest about the entire process even when the items on the blueprint didn't match the actual equipment that had been installed 20 years prior, along with outdated instalment features. They had to find a different pump, and electrical replacement solutions. They were great and did it with positive attitudes and friendly hardworking ethics. We enjoyed getting to know them and were very impressed with how much they care. They made the job change work with the price they had quoted us as well, which was very reasonable. Thank you both for being a great team. Louisa and Dean
