Long story short, the vehicle has been repaired, and is running like a top! Not only is he a top-notch mechanic, but the employee service level is also outstanding. Well, they were not only accommodating to our schedule, but they also went above and beyond making sure we were happy. They also worked on our daughter's car, and when they ran into a hiccup with the part they needed, they made sure we were taken care of. It's nice to know we now have a dependable, honest, affordable mechanic. I can't say enough good things about our experiences with them! He is incredibly honest and knows his stuff, and he has a top-notch mechanic working with him. He does not say something is needed unless it is needed. I have saved so much money and worry since I discovered Patrick when I moved to Topsfield two years ago. Going to him is the best decision I have made since moving here. Patrick is kind, understanding, and caring. He gets the job done in a timely way. My car is old, so he could have easily convinced me that I needed stuff done. He is the opposite. He tells me I can wait, to come back to have it checked in a month or two -- at no charge. (I am on a tight budget.) There is still stuff that he checks that have not gotten worse. The car, with 107,000 miles, runs beautifully, thanks to this place. Even when they do an oil change, they check other things, including the tire pressure. I don't even have to ask. They do so much! I did not know Patrick before going there. He was highly recommended by many, many people on the Topsfield Facebook page. They were so right! If you want a mechanic who cares and is ALWAYS honest, someone who will never charge you more than what it should be, and sometimes less, this is the place. Go and see for yourself!

DO NOT GO HERE. Untrustworthy, slow, and uncomfortable…read more -Untrustworthy: unsure if this guy know's what he's doing or if he just straight up lies to you about what you need. He charged us for both service and the new part, but in reality he just gave us some "refurbished" part he had in the back, and kept the new for god knows what. We went to another mechanic and he confirmed WE NEVER NEEDED THE SERVICE IN THE FIRST PLACE. -Slow worker: takes him twice as long compared to what he says he's gonna take to finish a job. 3 hours becomes half a week, and even then YOU have to work around his schedule. -Uncomfortable: this guy blasts the most right winged slop radio I've ever heard of over his garage. I don't get into politics but the stuff he listens to isn't even political, it's some sod awful news station ranting about how trans people are a national problem, how we need to save South America from itself, and how trump is a "alpha male".

He doesn't have a web site, doesn't take credit cards. Answers his own phone. But he'll fix your car and not rip you off. My wife's car was due for both tires and brakes. He did the brakes for less than half the price the dealership quoted me, but also told me that he doesn't do tires (and gave recommendations where to get them done).
