Erica is probably the rudest person I worked with in NYC. We are a couple living in Grand Army/Prospect Heights (Brooklyn) looking for a bigger rental because we are expecting, I sent a request for a unit along with a small introduction I send to all realtors with info about us, the type of house we are looking for, our income, ~ max budget... etc. The unit was only $200 above our aprox max budget and right off the bat she was not willing to work with us even though our income is way more than 3 times the price of the unit. Her emails responses were very arrogant, rude and honestly sounding ignorant... Very inappropriate her first email was directly saying "These units are all above your budget, I don't know any owner who would come down $200, so good luck" I said I knew the price of the unit, we were ok with it and we didn't request to get the price down and even after that her response was "Read what you sent, it didn't say approximate, I don't have time to assume, I go by what's written... thanks and good luck to you" (she didn't understand the sign before the number: ~9999 but still...) I attached image of the email.
I just can't imagine to work with someone with that attitude and way to speak to clients. And she obviously doesn't even have the minimum intuition to identify good potential clients. read more
