My husband and I had been walking daily to prepare for the trip, and I developed a bone spur that caused so much swelling & pain, I thought it was going to ruin my trip. Dr. Farajian squeezed me in for assessment and offered a 2 day plan before leaving. Day 1 Sound Wave shock therapy. Day 2 Dual Laser Therapy. By day three I was on a plane to Paris with a walking boot. My first day in Paris I did use a wheelchair for our visit to the Louvre but by the next day, I was able to walk boot free and pain free for the rest of my trip! Until I took a misstep and fractured my ankle on a castle tour at the end of our trip! I came home in the same boot I left in!!! But, not to worry, after 3 weeks of Laser therapy that Dr. Farajian recommended, I am so thrilled and ecstatic to be walking boot and pain free again with NO SURGERY!!! A massive thank you to Dr. Farajian and her office staff for taking such great care of my foot & ankle issues in a non-invasive and effective manner. These treatments are the real deal! I highly recommend Dr. Farajian and her team for their extraordinary results and personal care and support of their patients! -Renata Green-Gaber

By morning, walking had become quite difficult and uncomfortable. In my distress, I called Pacific Foot and Ankle Center. Loren answered with genuine kindness and urgency. Even though Dr. Petersen already had three patients scheduled, she kindly asked if I could come in within 20 minutes. I was so grateful they were able to accommodate me on such short notice. After a brief wait, Dr. Petersen thoroughly assessed my condition with calm expertise. He ordered X-rays and administered a cortisone injection right away. The relief was impressive, I felt about 20% better almost immediately, and within six hours the pain had decreased by roughly 85%. I was finally able to walk much more comfortably again. Dr. Petersen is a skilled and compassionate specialist who clearly prioritizes his patients. Loren and the entire team were professional, friendly, and went above and beyond to help me when I needed it most. They turned a painful, sleepless night and a difficult morning into a day of real relief and appreciation. If you're dealing with foot or ankle issues, I strongly recommend Pacific Foot and Ankle Center and Dr. Petersen. Their responsive, effective care made a significant difference for me, and I'm truly thankful.

Compared to my first visit almost ten years ago with Dr. Coyer - which by the way, was a five-star…read moreexperience all around - my most recent visit was less than perfect. It wasn't a completely terrible visit - but it certainly could've been better. OC Podiatry's Irvine office is now based off Sand Canyon/Alton, in the Hoag Hospital Complex - my first visit was at an office off Barranca Pkwy, behind the Green Burrito. Their Hoag office is a fancy setting - modern facility, with plenty of parking - conveniently located off the 405/5. Dr. Coyer wasn't available, so I met with Dr. Tien instead. Dr. Tien was thorough, provided several treatment options for my ingrown toenail (owie) - including a partial nail removal, which was what I ultimately went forward with. While she was friendly, I definitely felt the three pokes while she injected the local anesthetic into my big toe. The actual nail-cutting wasn't completely painless (which you'd think it would be considering the anesthesia). I like to think I have a relatively high pain tolerance level too, considering I had all of my wisdom teeth removed under local, instead of general anesthesia. No major issues with the procedure - not knocking off any stars for that. The issue is the post-op/after visit. Despite being considered "in-network" - I had to pay for everything - the visit and the procedure - upfront, and in full. There wasn't any explanation from the clerk as to why or if my insurance was insufficient. This was new to me - and I think I have decent insurance, it's Blue Cross PPO - I usually see other specialists with a low copay. Luckily I was able to cover the fee - which was several hundred dollars - but getting some sort of price estimate before the procedure is performed, would've been nice. Or a heads up that they expect the full payment upfront. With follow-up questions on whether I need to file the claim with my insurance or not - I tried to reach out to the office, only to get a long winded voice message redirecting me to a loop - same voice message plays regardless of what number I press. It seems like the only way to get a hold of the office is via text only. Which is frustrating - especially when it's regarding something that is probably more efficiently resolvable speaking over the phone vs. texting. So what started off as a great experience - eventually dwindled down to a "could've been better" experience. If you need to see a foot doctor for whatever reason - Drs. Coyer or Tien are great. But just be prepared to deal with the "after" - unless yours is a simple and straightforward visit.

He repaired two of my toes and took incredible care of both of us from start to finish. Dr. Fishman was professional, kind, and made us feel completely comfortable the whole time. And as a bonus (because my sister & I requested fun photos of surgery) he used his meta glasses to take photos and document how the surgery went, which was definitely a highlight to wake up to after surgery. The entire surgical team at Los Alamitos + Fishman's staff was also amazing and super helpful throughout everything! Everything went perfectly, and we're so grateful for the care we received. I honestly wouldn't trust anyone else with our toes but Dr. Fishman. Highly recommend!

He is humble, super skilled, knowledge, and kindness is just basic. . And his muscles definitely gave me big confidence that my surgery will go well. Before surgery, I was in panic and preparing for pain 7-9/10. But surprisingly i barely got any bruises and barely had any pain. It was a heavy surgery, although I am korean, I didnt feel single 0% of him trying to lightly take my symptom or act of disrepect. Funny thing is When I encounter my own nationality doctors oftenly try to talk me down or look me down. But Dr Fishman is God brought individual who is sincerely wants to help disregarding who you are or what you are. His goal is only to help, never show off his ability, or to discriminate patients. I love Dr. Fishman but not only I learned soo much from him. My self as operating two business, picky, arrogant time time. Not only he treated my potential loss of my leg, but he also taught me how to be real man, real profession. Since the experience with Doctor Fishman, I am whipping my self on how much possibly I was conceited of my past, and have plan to mirror his image to keep the smile at all time with humbleness. Thank you Dr. Fishman, and Im sorry I made sarcasm joke of "batman, spiderman and fishman!!!" During our first meeting. I respect you deep in my heart and I promise you its very rare or none that I feel like this towards other male. I wish, there will be an opportunity for me to pay you the debt back. Doctor Fishman is true example of America.
