Not only did they get them in quickly but the communication that John provided to me was above and beyond the call of duty. He was professional, polite and clear about how much we would owe and walked me through paperwork. I definitely gave him a lot of work that day but he did it with a great attitude and a smile on his face. My daughter loved that she got a welcome gift and excellent service. Her nerves were settled by the time the Dr. came by. Kara - our hygienist was great at providing us with information, answering questions and providing excellent clinical service. I had a lot of questions about what I was seeing in the X-rays and the answers weren't satisfactory; he was pushy and against my better judgement I let him drill the one (I had never previously had a cavity). This caused a lot of anxiety and hadn't been to the back to the dentist since until today. As for the 5-6 others, it has been 8yrs, I finally just went back. I have only 1 small cavity now that just started to form. Get a copy of your X rays and get a second opinion. There are online services that do that now. It just took 40 years and I am never leaving this place! So, don't walk but run here! I am glad I get grandfathered in as a patient because I truly believe with only 2 doctors, they'll reach max capacity with this type of care! I am one of those people that won't go to the dentist unless I'm critically in pain. I had a child naturally (not on purpose), so I have a high tolerance to pain. I am embarassed to admit this but before coming here, I haven't gone to a dentist in over 5 years (maybe even more); I was just too scared. Both my kids are also patients here which is super convenient and they love it here too! I trust any recommendations that the 2 docs gives me, for me and my kids. This isn't just a dentist office, they will become your family if you allow them to, and I hope you do! Grace, kindness, authenticity, and compassion are all hard to come by these days and I have received that all here; which I am shocked about! It's a dentist office! But I am not asking questions, I am just embracing it, and taking it all in. Being a single mom, I am barely making it paycheck to paycheck these days but this dentist office has worked with me, where I can afford to take care of my family. Big shout out to Dr. Gens! He's my hero! Both doctors do this, not for the money but they do this because they love, and truly care for their patients, and I've never experienced anything like it. Again. The staff are friendly, fun and always learning and they love to share ways you can take better care of your dental maintenance. They think about your experience from the moment you arrive. They explain anything you may not understand in a fashion that makes sense. They think about areas that may feel uncomfortable. TVs, headsets, and eye shades are located in each dental room so you can relax and aren't staring up at overhead bright lights while they're working. Another example... when your mouth is open for too long it gets dry. I mentioned this and they immediately offered me a swab of lip balm.
