One star would be generous for Erdys. I was told that I had a significant mouse problem that would take a minimum of 5 visits to get under control. I made a mistake, and I trusted them hook line and sinker. On my first follow up on 5/31/23 the technician said he found one mouse which I did not see. The company never performed the second and subsequent follow ups. I tried to reason with them and come to some kind of compromise because it was obvious there were no mice in my home but that is not how they do business. The bottom line is I was duped into believing I had a major rodent problem and it cost me $1422 for one mouse hat I never did see. Furthermore they were rude, condescending, and patronizing over the phone . The next day I was sent the message below even after I agreed to pay them double for the work hours that they performed since there are no mice in my house. I have inspected all of the traps they set myself today and there is not one of them that had a mouse in it after 20 days. My advice to anyone who is considering using Erdye's would be to run not walk away and choose another company. Worst business experience I have ever had in 71 trips around the sun. We have that yesterday you were able to speak with both our Office Manager and our Lead Service Coordinator who are both decision makers. When you spoke to our office manager, she had your information sent over to our Lead Service Coordinator, with whom you also spoke over and were rude with and threatened legal action to. We have an email to our no reply email - sent before our Lead Service Coordinator was able to contact you, a text message from last night after speaking with our Lead Service Coordinator and this email today all making threats for legal action. This is inappropriate. In light of these actions though, we are still willing and able to provide the service to you, as it was paid for. Our pricing is based on the inspection of your home and the activity found inside. This is determined by actual activity inside the home, areas that need to be sealed on the outside of the home, and how many follow up's will be needed to remediate the problem. This also includes a year warranty. I hope this helps you gain some clarity on how the pricing and service works. I had a nest of wasps near my foundation. It was higher than my siding as spray pesticides didn't get where it needed to go. I called Erdye's and they came promptly. They applied a treatment and returned in two days to seal the area. Very pleased with their service and fee. read more

My first impression was that this is a professional and polite group of people. However, after hiring them, I had to call them several times to get the work (and the bill) completed correctly -- First I was told that one of the planned repairs was not actually big enough to need fixing after all, so I called to get the bill adjusted. Then I had to call again because I saw that they had forgotten to cover one of the larger holes -- they had to send someone to verify that I was right and then someone else to actually complete the work. Then, after more weeks of waiting, they had still not completed the work on the front of the house (a so-called extruder was still attached to our house), so I called yet again and was told that they had thought it was all done and wouldn't have come back to finish. All of this is maybe just an annoyance, but what really bothers me is that the largest hole on the front of the house right under the roofline, the work that they had "forgotten" to finish, now has a piece of screwed-on metal mesh covering the hole -- not only does it stick up over the roofline and looks terrible laying over the top of the white flashing, but it allows the elements into the hole, not closing it at all. When I complained, I was told that I would need to hire a contractor to rip out what they had done and cover the hole with a piece of sheet metal, since "that is not our area of expertise." Seriously!? They surely did not tell me at the first visit that I would have to hire a contractor to close any holes after paying their company hundreds of dollars.
