    My manicure

For a mama who needs some me time and a mimosa , go head to paint nail bar. The salon is beautiful and has jewelry , clothes, and lots of other things to purchase . The owner and nail techs were so kind and helpful with picking colors and helping me with my nail growth journey. I am an avid nail biter (thanks anxiety) and really needed some help and direction on how to get my nails healthy. They suggested a nail treatment and a gel overlay and they also didn't want to put "tips" on my unhealthy nail beds which I appreciated. Unlike these nail salons that just slap acrylic on anything and everything. They were very attentive and kind and I definitely can't wait to see how much my nails grow at my next appointment!!

Absolutely loved this experience! They feel luxury and upscale. The vibe is professional but comfortable. The owner is a local Lakelander and the decor reflects it. So cute! I enjoyed the girls who did my nails and I would definitely go back. As soon as I walked in, they offered me tea, water, mimosa, or a latte. The pedicure chairs are super comfortable. Everyone is very pleasant and the playlist is awesome!

Love coming here to pamper myself. I have the passport membership which super convenient since I get my pedi every month I get perks with that. Also my nail technician is always super detailed and do an excellent job ( I used to be traumatized about getting pedis , my skin is super thin and always ended up getting cuts during service, NO MORE now ) As soon as you come in you are greeted by them, offered a complementary beverage and invited to pick up a gel color. All the items are personal so they open the sterilized package in front of you. I am super happy I found this place and my technician. Shamyrah is my Nail Tech I highly recommend this place.

Leilany is a work of wonder. Thank you for listening to my visions and putting it on my nails. I love going to the Nail Bar in Lakeland. They always pull out the red carpet and make you feel like family.

I had a good first experience with the salon, they were friendly & helpful. Scheduling & check-in were easy. It was not a high noise place, which I appreciated. Everyone was very young who worked there. The receptionist offered me a drink but never brought it. She gave good advice on nail selections. I didn't pick a technician, was given "Charlie" (Charlise, I think). She did a good job and just the right amount of talking & explaining. She was focused on her work precision on my nails. I was surprised at 5 coats, have only gotten 3 elsewhere. I thought the nail techs were tabled closer together than I've been accustomed (2 to a table). A private table just for us wouldn've been more comfortable. Pedicures occured nearby on a raised platform with multiple chairs. I found a lot of what they did here was very different than places that are staffed "Vietnamese". (no soaking fingers is one example). I left happy with my nails & they lasted at least 2 weeks. They never marred or chipped but grew away from my cuticles quickly. I appreciated the non-toxic "smell" and didn't have 2 days of "tasting" nail polish on the regular kind. I found it harder than normal to remove (but am new at it). I didn't like that the place was double the price over other types of salons ($40 range to start) but would use them again as they were professional, comfortable to work with and I'd only use the non-toxic kind again.

A comfortable spot for a pedicure.

What a gem of a salon here in Lakeland. I found Paint Nail Bar through social media. Ironically it's practically across the street from where I live and didn't realize it was there. They're appointment only, walk-ins would be a an exception. However the online appointment process is easy to navigate. You can pick your favorite person or whomever may be open at the time you want. As it was my first time there I didn't specify a technician. I was paired with Rebecca, and she's awesome!! I've been back to her twice now! Plenty of reminders for those of us who might forget with busy lives! Everyone there is friendly, polite, and do their best to make you comfortable and feel pampered. The atmosphere is bright and soothing. Relaxed chic. A complimentary glass of sparkly doesn't hurt either. There are some jewelry and clothing options if you're in the mood to buy something to match your new nails. All-in-all very worth checking Paint out of you haven't!!

I haven't gotten my nails done in over 11 years. I decided to try this place because of the reviews. I absolutely loved the atmosphere and the staff. My nail technician did such a great job on my nails. I will definitely be back. The customer service was the best too.

If you are looking for a good pedicure, this isn't the place. I will say the staff was friendly and the store is super cute, but I was really expecting more quality in the pedicure. There was no cleaning under the nails, no trimming dead skin around the toes and no scrub for the bottom of the feet. The polish job was very elementary and chunky. I left with cracked heels and poorly painted toe nails. The service itself is $48, although I did tip, I can't say I would go back. I literally paid over $50 for hideous gel polish. I really wanted to like this place because the vibe was great when you walked in. Unfortunately things took a turn for the worst.

Not worth the price. Also, they do not follow the Covid 19 protocols that they posted on their own website.

I had a dip mani done a few days before I went on vacation. I don't routinely have my nails done-…read moreso this was brand new- it had been more than a year since I last had my nails even painted- so this was basically a 'virgin' experience. I like to get dip because it usually lasts about 2 weeks for me, and I like the color options. My nails looked ok. A little thick, but ok. Well, 2 days later, I lost the polish on TWO nails, just doing mundane day-to-day things. I called the salon and they told me to come in. The same guy that did the original, did the 'repairs.' Things were fine. My repaired nails were tender- but I thought maybe it was due to the extra buffing. They held up ok, on my 9 day vacation. When I went back to work, I lost a most of polish on my right ring finger-- I could NOT believe what I saw-- my fingernail was GREEN!! What the actual ----?!?! Is it a FUNGUS?! My polish was on for less than 14 days total. (For the record, I have kept polish on my toes much longer without any issues). This should NOT have happened. Bad technique??? Bad cleaning practices??? Well, whatever it is- needless to say, I will not be back to this shop. Period. I removed all of the polish and attempted to buff off the green on the one nail. This was 5 weeks ago and my poor, sad, tormented nails are still trying to recover.

TL;DR: Walked in on Saturday at noon, not greatly greeted, French Mani/Pedi service, took about 1.5…read morehours total (including drying time), deluxe pedi = $35, mani = $25, $5 extra for French so $65 total. I arrived around noon on a Saturday. There were about 10 technicians and all had a client with them. I didn't really get greeted, but overlooked it and asked for sign in sheet. This salon takes appointments so I will suggest making an appointment for possibly quicker accommodations (I say possibly because I have noticed that even though some did have an appointment, there was still a short wait time). I requested for a manicure and pedicure and waited for about 10 minutes before I was escorted to a pedicure chair -- there was no one in front of me to be seated next. Even though I am explaining my initial interaction in detail, I expected a wait time as it was a weekend, and that's when most people have the time to also get pampered. I WAS OKAY WITH THE WAIT TIME. This salon also offers free WiFi for their guests. The basic pedicure was $25, and I cannot attest to what all is included in that because I chose the deluxe pedicure which was priced at $35. This included old nail polish removed, toe jam dugged up, cuticles trimmed, a nice sugar scrub from your knees down, followed by the paraffin wax for your feet, then a nice hot stone rub to your calves before finally masking your calves in a clay mask and wrapping them with a warm towel. The deluxe pedicure also offers you a free glass of wine or beverage, however I declined the offer. If you're looking for a nail salon that likes to punch and beat your calves and pluck your toenails, this may not the the one for you. While my legs and feet were basking in the warm towel and wax, he started working on my hands that had remnants of 2 month old gel polish. They soaked each finger with acetone and cotton wrapped in foil, and what I appreciate most about this place was that they placed one of those food handler gloves on each hand so that you can still use your phone! (Photos attached). I have gone to many nail salons in my lifetime and have never seen this. It also helps with acetone leaking from the foil and obviously the intense smell. Once he finished wrapping my fingers, he continued to remove the wax and towel and paint my toes as requested (I'm a creature of habit so I always choose French manis/pedis + it always matches whatever I'm wearing, and if I let my nails grow out, it won't look AS bad as a fully polished nail). After finishing the pedicure and polish, he moved me to a desk to begin my manicure. With the manicure, he gently removed my old gel polish, trimmed cuticles, buffed, and oiled my cuticles. THEN HE APPLIED LOTION AND PROCEEDED WITH THE HAND/FOREARM MASSAGE. I stated this in all caps because typically the lotion and hand massage comes at the end of the manicure service, however, I really enjoyed it before the hand-washing part because I usually don't like the oily residue that is leftover from them lathering up my hand with the massage and lotion. For context, I decided on a French manicure using regular polish instead of gel this time so I am not sure if the order of events will differ for a gel manicure. After he massaged my hands, I went to wash it off, and he finished the manicure with the polish. My technician was an older gentleman who was very kind and friendly. We kept conversation at a minimum in the beginning, because sometimes when people get pampered, they just want to relax. I'm the same way. I did warm up to conversation near the end of my experience. The pedicure itself took about 45 minutes, and the manicure was about 35ish minutes. I was there for about an hour and a half total because since I did regular polish, I wanted to make sure my nails were dried before taking off. I wanted to give this review my full experience, because it was the kind of content I was searching for when reading reviews. I was trying to compare the types of services offered, prices, as well as the "extras" that you can receive during your service (ie, paraffin wax, sugar scrub, etc). As for the environment, the space is pretty spacious. There are about 10 pedicure chairs and probably 15 or so manicure desks (I didn't really count). The waiting area consists of 2 couches and a few individual chairs. I cannot attest to how many different colors or gels or powders that they had as I was not looking for any colored services today. Upon walking in to your right in the center-ish is suppose to be a secretary. She was not there when I initially walked in but noticed her while I was having my services done. The technicians did chat amongst themselves to each other, but if you were on your phone or focused on something else, then it probably wouldn't have bothered you. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit here and will most likely return (and probably will set an appointment ahead of time to avoid long wait times).

Horrible service !!!! Half the staff don't know how to do a French manicure. The other half…read moredon't know how to do designs .
