I got my nails done on April 12 and one week later on April 18, a nail fell off and the rest are loose. This makes absolutely no sense. I paid $60 plus a tip and the nails don't even last 7 days. I might as well just flush my money down the toilet. I will never go back here. read more

Villa Spa Nails - Nail Salons Near Me - Lakeland, Florida

I came here before on a few occasions, including Halloween nails and even my past homecomings and proms. They lost a customer, though. There was a gentleman here that did my nails and though he was polite, did not do a good job at all. I asked for a simple fill with regular polish. I get to the register and they asked for $43. I've been charged $23 for a fill before so I was very confused as to why I was being charged $43. The lady offered excuses that did not make sense. After paying, I looked at my nails and it already looked like I needed another fill. I went back in saying that the price didn't seem right, and the nails did not look right at all. She agreed that my nails were not fully painted and sent me back to get them fixed. When the SAME MAN was done finishing, they barely lookedany different and he left polish all over my fingers. Beyond that, the lady said that was all she would do for me. My friend and sister saw my nails and they were customers as well. They agreed that either they needed to be fixed or I should ask for a refund. I'm not as confrontational so I debated going back, but my nails really did look bad. They were rude and the lady said my nails looked fine to her. She refused to do anything further for me. As someone who has given a LOTTT of money to this company and who hasn't complained, I'm upset and am now having to dispute this with my bank. read more

Wow! This HAS to be one of the best nail salons in Lakeland! As soon as I walked in someone came to help me, and when I told the guy doing my nails I wanted a full set he was so happy to help. He asked if I wanted a design (I came around Dec.17, 2020) and even if I wanted Christmas themed nails. I showed him the picture I had on my phone and he had no hesitation in getting them to look exactly how I wanted, I was just so impressed with his eagerness. When he began putting the acrylics on he was constantly asking what length I wanted them and double-checking that they were how I preferred, it was so great. Not to mention he was also super friendly and making jokes the whole time, and it helped me to feel a lot more comfortable. And just look at how they turned out!!! Just incredible, he is so insanely talented! I was just so blown away by my experience at Villa Spa, I don't think I'd ever want to go anywhere else, and even though I live in south Lakeland I will make the 25 minute drive just to come here! Can't recommend highly enough!! read more

My husband purchased a gift card from Villa Spa Nails for my recent birthday. He was given the card along with the receipt. I tried to use it for my services and was told it had a $0 balance. I showed them the receipt along with the charge on my credit card statement. They insisted the card was used a year ago, even though it was just issued less than a month ago. There was no responsibility taken for an error that was completely made on their part. Fortunately, I'm able to dispute the charge but I would caution anyone from buying gift cards from this establishment. A horrible way to treat a regular customer, suggesting I'm lying and trying to take advantage of them. Absolutely awful! read more

I am never going back there One day I went to the nail salon right and my sister got her a nails done and I got my nails done so she had complained to me that her nails were already falling off which mind you it was two days into when we went to go get them done she said that they were falling off and we had we to go replace them so we went to go placed them and they said that it was 50 bucks for just repair them and like put glue back on it so yeah, I'm never going back there and I'm going to be honest it was not a vibe at all and if I could rate it zero stars then I would read more

I'll be honest, if I could put 0 stars I would because I don't even understand how a "Nail Tech" lets someone walk out with their nails looking This Bad! I paid for medium length and they're beyond short and they're supposed to be coffin and they just look like black blobs on my hands. Not 1 nail was the same length as the other and she didn't clean up the black off my skin nor the glue. If I had a child they could do better. read more

They did a good job but the price quoted was much higher than originally expected. Basic Mani & pedi quoted @$50, ended up at$80. They get you in the door, then have all kinds of add-Ons, and didn't really get what I came for. Some people can afford stuff like that but not me, just the basics and when I left a tip (30%) I got the feeling they expected much more. For someone that wants to be pampered this is the place but I hope you have deep pockets. Otherwise it's a skip for me. read more

My nail technicians name was MONICA she walked away several times during me getting my nails done for more than five minutes she also wanted to charge me $145 for my nails being done and when I asked her where the amount was coming from she couldn't explain $40 worth of it. None of her tools were in Barb-side ( cleaning agent )and she was using the same sandpaper drill she used on other people I would NOT recommend this place to anybody, super unprofessional and dirty read more

I always really love this Salon but yesterday was slightly frustrating when my daughter and I bother went in to get the exact same nail color...BLACK I'm the spirit of the season and when we left, hers were black and mine were a Dark navy blue. The excess acrylic Around the edges and underside were not cleaned up either. Lesson learned to only see my usual guy there, I suppose. read more

Honestly needed to leave a review since I was impressed by the service considering the complaints on their Yelp. Took me as a walk in, did an amazing job on my dip manicure on my natural nails- no issues with thickness or having to double check anything. Me and my girlfriend came in yesterday for 2 pedicures, I was sitting there with my feet in cold water for 15 minutes waiting for someone to do mine yet somehow I ended up finishing only 5 minutes after her? He tried charging us $104 for 2 classic pedicures and I immediately knew that wasn't accurate. it's because he charged my gf for a full set of paint when she only got CLEAR which is still somehow $7? i wasn't paying much attention to how my toes looked until i got in the car but when I did, they looked awful. They were so bumpy, he didn't clean up any paint on my skin. My little sister could've done a better job. It is only the next day and the GEL polish that you guys like to charge $10 more for. Is peeling off the toes I got done yesterday. You guys are REFUSING to give me my money back. My only option is to go sit down and have you guys redo them? Absolutely not, I want my money back and to never visit this place again. I understand we're in a shitty place with the economy which is why I was sooooo skeptical on even getting one but I thought I would treat myself and It would be worth it LOL no you guys just take advantage of people and do a half ass job. read more

New to FL and looking for a nail salon to call home. My husband and I decided to give Villa Spa Nails a try, went there last Thursday morning to get 2 pedicures, manicure for my husband, and SNS for me. We get there and we are greeted right away, my husband is taken back for his pedi (usually we sit for this together) and I am seated for my SNS well so I thought. The gentleman (Sea) decided that SNS would take too long and should apply gel instead. Here we are not even a week later and my gel has completely come off. I would not go back here if it was free, so disappointing! read more

Very expensive, first gel mani lasted 5 days (mani/pedi $80). Went back for color change and was shocked that was $60! Gel did last this time (reason for 2 stars instead of 1). Went back today just to get gel off. She left color on my nails in several spots. Pointed them out. She seemed irritated (I wouldn't do another color, didn't want her to cut my nails - I didn't feel like it - grieving my mom, just wanted gel OFF.) nails are ruined - she drilled into my nail bed, cracked a nail filing wrong all the way to skin, and after 2nd attempt of taking gel off, I had to finish it at home. She didn't even get my nails even/smooth. Rushed thru it because I didn't want additional service today. Won't be back. Whatever you were saying in your language, the attitude came thru. My first time at Villa Spa Nails, a young man, can't remember his name did a dip powder/SNS on my nails. It was very difficult to take them off. My natural nails after the SNS are in terrible condition. I have a "ring of fire" on nearly every nail. A deep grove indentation. My nails were thin so I had to cut all my length off. On another occasion, i got a gel pedicure which was really good. Not sure if it was the tech or whatever materials they use for dip powder but if you decide to go here, just stick to gel polish if you're doing a mani or pedi read more

I went here for the first time this week to get my nails done. The staff lacks hospitality, so don't expect water or anything being offered. Sea was going to do my nails and refused to do them the way I requested, so I had Monica do my nails. Monica did a great job on my nails, but they nickle and dime you for everything. Have been going to Lee for the last 2 months that I've lived in Lakeland-- she's AMAZING! If you go to A N Y O N E else here, you'll be disappointed. Lee is on vacation & my appointment was given to Monica, who seems to be highly recommended as well. I got a new set of dip nails last Tuesday, 4/19 and 3 days later, they started chipping. When I called to let them know that this has never happened when Lee did my nails, they offered to fix the 2 broken nails & refused to re-do the entire set. It's now Tuesday, 4/26 and after a week I have 3 chipped nails and one cracked nail. Dip should last more than 3 days and more than 1 week.... I paid over $100 for a pedicure and for this set. Won't be going back. read more

I'm in shock with my visit at the salon today. I'm really upset not just for me but for the tech that worked on me. I visit this salon a few other times and have techs speak their native language with other techs and never have I EVER made comments regarding it. I noticed my tech spoke spanish and you guys know me, I make friends everywhere. So we are talking enjoying our conversation and another male tech tells my tech "time for English, so I can understand." I asked him "why?" He ignores me. I then tell him "I prefer to speak Spanish." No response from him. My tech and I continue to with our conversation... Then a female tech tells my tech to "Shh!" Villa Spa Nails, Are you seriously telling a customer and an your employee to stop talking our language? I am disgusted with how this situation not only me feel but also how this behavior affects people you employ. This behavior wether you would like to admit or not is discrimination and I do not tolerate it. ***My tech was the best person I've had at this location. She constantly made sure I was comfortable and not to mention she even asked me how some words were pronounced so her English speaking customers can understand her better.*** I was having the best visit until she got told to start speaking English. You should be proud of having this employee and want to make sure she feels comfortable and part of the team. Yet instead you create this uncomfortable scenario that paints this establishment as a uninviting to ANY NON-ENGLISH SPEAKING customers. read more

I have been a patron of this business for the past 1-2 years when Vincent was the owner not Sea. Vincent was the bomb! The quality was great, he was fast, did exactly what you needed and always had a happy to help attitude. I miss Vincent. Ever since Sea took over, this shop has been going downhill! I came in today to get a special set, showed Sea the picture and he said he can do it. As you look at my nails you can see the design lines are crooked and he used paint when I requested acrylic. He attempted the design 2-3x and after being unsatisfied I asked him to try another design or remove the nails. I had been at the shop for 2 hours! Sea stated "If I take off, pay me for my time." I think thats highly unfair as I'm paying for a service not your time, if so that should be an additional fee. I declined and asked him to attempt ombre, he stated it would take 2 more hours. I cannot spend 4 hours in a nail salon for something soo simple. I didn't want the rhinestones or anything else just a french tip on my nails as shown on the pointer finger in the picture. Sea sat back on his phone and refused to do any other design, refused to take my nails off. I told him he could either fix my nails or take the nails off, he said no to both. I told him call the police as this was a civil matter and I wanted to leave. He said "you call the police!" I told him I would even come back for him to finish my nails as I am a loyal client spending $100+ every-time I come. He told me he is not doing anything to my nails nor removing them and to never come back. I told him that was okay with me, I will never revisit and warn everyone not to visit. He said "I don't care, tell everyone." So here is my warning, STAY FAR AWAY. These people do not give a damn about you, they treat you so nasty but want to tax you on services. I will NEVER visit this salon or any affiliated with this salon every again and any chance I get, I will spread the word! read more
