During one of my visits, I became intrigued by the gel nail polish. The fact that it was quick drying, not damaging to natural nails and wasn't a fake nail that would have to be pried off if I tired of them intrigued me. But, I was skeptical. I've been known to wear off the most expensive nail polish within days if not hours. Other customers attested to the fact that the gel polish lasted over two weeks. I am now sporting my 3rd gel manicure and despite using my nails to scrape off jelly on the counter, open a wine bottle wrapper and a million other things, my polish looks as good as the day I first got it over two weeks ago. The salon owner, Linda, is as pleasant as them come. She is a good conversationalist while focusing on her services. She takes her craft seriously and learns the proper technique and doesn't shortcut on materials. The salon carries a full line of beauty products for hair and skin, small gift items and health supplements. I've not known anyone who received hair services there yet but my hunch is that with the attention to detail and level of quality I've received with my massages and nails, that all of their services are five star.

Luke takes great pride in his work and I never feel like he's rushing to get me out of the chair to get to the next client. When I mentioned these facts to the manager, her face cringed, then said my hair person had more experience than what my hair person told me. So many lies. Luckily, I got my money back, which will now go towards corrections and not towards getting what I actually want. I have never gotten my hair professionally dyed but decided to splurge because I'm getting married in a few months. This was actually supposed to be a trial dye before my wedding. I'm also going out of town this week to meet my fiancés parents for the first time. I'm completely embarrassed that I'm going to have to meet them looking like this.
