Do not recommend! Terrible experience. Our apartment clearly had a roach infestation and the realtor hid from us. We just found after we moved out and start to clean the apartment. Because it was very conveniently cleaned (as you can see in on of our pictures). All the black dots are roaches waste. And the smell , the kitchen smells like roaches. Im very disappointed because they hid it from us and when we tried to find a solution they just stopped answering. I'm in a living hell!!!! read more

I was interested in filing an application for an apartment, and this was the company used as a broker by the management company. Gail was the broker responsible for the apartment, and my experience, although short, was extremely negative. After calling Gail and getting her voicemail, I decided to call again to leave a message. This time Gail picked up, and after greeting her she stops me to tell me that, she only picked up to tell me to stop calling her, because she was on the other line. As much as I wanted to apply to the apartment, and in my desperate situation, there is no way I am willing to deal with such unprofessional behavior. read more

We first worked with ERA during our relocation to NY from out of state and were referred through our employer (it was a corporate relocation for a Fortune 100 company). Debra was incredibly patient and responsive and helped us navigate negotiating several specific aspects of the lease agreement for the 4BR home we were looking to rent in Westchester County. The experience was so positive that on a whim we reached out a few years later saying "you were so professional and thoughtful we'd love to ask for your advice" and within a few weeks not only did Debra meet us in person, she identified a home (among many on the market) for our family. After visiting the property when it was in the middle of renovations, we decided to move forward and have been very happy since.  In addition to Debra, we've met Lou and several members of the ERA team and we have only positive experiences to share. They are, from my understanding, the exclusive broker for Sleepy Hollow Gardens at 177 White Plains Rd in Tarrytown. Do NOT let them mislead you like they misled us about that property. The laundry facilities might as well be nonexistent - always flooded and absolutely gross, and the machines NEVER work. And when they tell you parking isn't an issue, be sure to get that in writing. I could go on and on, but the bottom line is that this property is completely mismanaged and in disrepair, and while that isn't the realtor's fault, they certainly cover it up for a sale. read more

I had to jump through a ton of hoops to get anyone to be helpful. Of the probably five different people I talked to on the phone, only one seemed to care about my business and was able to help. This was after two days of constantly calling about a specific property and leaving many voice mails that were never returned. When one of the people I had talked to on the phone multiple times realized how much I was getting ignored, she finally made sure someone attended to me. The agent I went through turned out to be knowledgeable and helpful (when he finally got around to contacting me again), but it was a lot of effort and people answering the phone sounding like they didn't want my business before I was able to get through to anyone. All in all, I do not think I will go through this company again at this location (unless some of their employees learn that I am a paying customer, and deserve to be treated better than I was). read more

0- stars. Most horrific experience ever. Do yourself a big favor and work with a different Realty company. Kimberly Cacace was quick to get me to sign the lease and then disappeared. She never answered or returned any of my phone calls or e-mails. Every time I called her office she was never there, and the receptionist is absolutely no help. I was never once told verbally or in writing that there was a brokers fee. I was mislead to think that I was paying first months rent, last, and a security deposit. Never as a renter have I been expected to pay a brokers fee, and to not be told is wrong. Ironically, the brokers fee was the same exact amount as my rent and security deposit which is why I never questioned it. Shady and manipulative. I've worked with other lovely real estate agents in CT and i will be going back to them! read more

If I could give a zero start I would. I had the most unpleasant conversation today with Ms. Roy about the property in question. After numerous attempts in contacting Ms. Roy by email and Realtor, Trulia and Zillow websites, Zillow rep contacted me and gave me MS. Roy direct phone number. I called Ms. Roy and left a voicemail on her cell phone to contact me back in reference to the house that is located in 8 Exeter Rd. Ms. Roy got back to me a few hours later. She asked my name and what property I wanted information on, I gave her the location and asked her if the house was for sale and some information, I explained to her that I was pre approved by West Fargo Bank and was going to use my VA loan to purchase a home with a possible concession. She asked me if I was working with any agent and I told her that I had but not really anything set in stone. That I have seen the house with one agent and I liked the house. Here when it goes all to hell. Ms. Roy starts to ramble about rules and regulations and New York state laws and that I needed to have an agent and not to use multiple agents all this thing in a loud and rude manner. I tried to explained to her that I haven't picked up an agent being that I haven't found the right person to represent me. She kept talking without letting me speak going on and on about rules and laws. After just 5 minutes in talking to Ms. Roy in trying to explained to her that all I wanted was to talk about the property and all she wanted to talk about was New York state laws and if my agent was Martin, that the house had 3 offers on the table and that the house owner didn't want to do a concession I had enough I told her that she was being rude and unprofessional, that I was going to contact her agency management and make complaint about her. I did contacted her management and spoke with Sara. Ms. Sara told me that MS. Roy is one of their best agents and only does sell, I told her what happen and that she would get someone one that could help me with my request. I asked her if this is the norm that now I know the reason why the house has not been sold for more than 120 days. Ms. Sara insured me that she was going to talk with Ms. Roy Folks if this is just in getting information about a home, how bad will it get when it comes down to selling or buying a home with an Agent like this. read more

They were the worst. Drew Slack, our agent, was lazy and uninspired. We sold the house with Donna Gladstein, whose approach was to give the buyers everything they wanted, and reduce the price of the house. We needed to move, and we were stuck having to accept far less for the house. Lou Budetti, the owner, would not let us out of our contract -- which Drew lied about -- when we wanted to hire a different agent. Do not use them. Try someone else. read more

I did not have a good experience and I would not recommend. People were very nice and friendly but told me one thing and did another. I was made promises and they never followed through and they completely left me hanging big time....not even a call back to try and help in the aftermath. As soon I made my payment, I basically never heard from them again. When I asked questions about the building and lease, I was told "It is not my job to help you, you should get a lawyer." They showed me an apartment 1 time, we signed and I never heard from them again. Maybe an hour worth of work for them for a $2200 commission and I can't even get them to respond to say sorry let alone follow through on the promises they made., They had the audacity to give me cards and say tell your friends. read more
