We found our agent to be inept, lazy,and completely incompetent as a real estate agent. His methods for "work" consist of forwarding emails. Unless you want to hire a mail service, pass on this loser. Half the time, he had no idea what was going on with our house and the inevitable bumps along the way. We were out of state sellers and the man would not so much as check on our house once a week to make sure the signage was still in good standing and the heat was still operating, etc. We lost a lot of money due to his ignorance and incapabilities. Things to remember: 1) NEVER sign a contract with an agent without an "out" clause. 2) NEVER sign a contract with this company. read more

My Realtors, a husband and wife team were simply amazing. I was looking at homes for a few weeks calling Realtors left and right, none of them ever returned calls, it's like they just didn't care. Then I got a call from Pam who cared and was there and worked with me through the good times, and the bad times. We finally found a home I fell in love with (you know the one, where you aren't walking through saying change this change that....). They genuinely had my best interest in mind, did their jobs way above and beyond, ALWAYS answered or returned calls immediately. My husband and I worked with Elizabeth Moskovitz during our house hunting process. She was fabulous in so many ways: diligent, available, understanding and knowledgeable, among so many other things. House visits were lined up within 48 hours of requesting them, and she provided home suggestions that were consistent with our wish list as well as within budget. Once we found "the home" she provided us with a packet of full of information pertinent to the next steps and what to expect before closing, both timeline and responsibilities. Elizabeth arranged all meetings and appointments necessary and was with us every step of the way all the way to closing. She was honest and provided her opinion when we asked. Her outgoing and easy-going personality make her a joy to work with and her determined and organized nature maintains the fun in the home-buying process. Not our experience; I found the interested buyer myself, purchase and sales agreement signed May 2013 for a short sale, after months of phone calls and emails to our agent (we are out of state) our contract expired with the offer never being sent to our lender, after nine months we are not even at square one - we are worse than that - a sheriff has tried to serve us foreclosure paperwork we may be too far into the foreclosure to sell as a short sale. NINE MONTHS OF DOING NOTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Possible foreclosure in our future because of inaction by our agent. read more

I had a great experience with ERA Dawson when buying our house. Our agent was absolutely terrific and patient with us as we looked at house after house, then a real advocate for us during the purchase process. I will work with them in a heartbeat (although we LOVE our home and will hopefully never sell). I would give them five stars - in fact, I did, but Yelp deleted my review.
