I normally have a good experience with this location, but I normally see Dr. Clark…read more I received an email that they were offering $35 off special on wellness exams. I already had one of my dogs scheduled for wellness exam but decided to schedule my other dog due to the "special" I requested Dr Clark in the appointment. When I arrived they took us back almost immediately. When the Dr. came in, it was a different tech/dr than I normally see and wasn't Dr. Clark like I requested. They took the first dog in the back to give exam, something they have never done in the past. This immediately made me uncomfortable . They briefly opened the door and asked about shots. We asked for the rabies and we expected this. They returned with the first dog and took second dog back. We noted that she had an adverse reaction to rabies shot previously so declined (4lb dog). They came back and went over the results for both dogs. One dog was perfect and the other had a "heart murmur." When we went to pay they gave a tap to pay pad with an amount and no itemization. We asked if they had included the "special" discount and they had not, so they returned with a slightly lesser amount on the tap to pay device. We asked for an itemization and were told that would come after payment. We said that was backwards and not acceptable and then an itemization arrived. $74 for each exam and $75 for heart worm test on each dog. The heart worm test is worthless for us because we treat them no matter what and do not purchase the meds from the vet. We felt this should have been discussed beforehand, especially if it increases the bill by 100%. I'm disappointed that the visit went this way and it made me feel uncomfortable that I will decline to see any other doctor than Dr. Clark in the future. Normally they bring an itemization of what they plan to do before the treatment. The combination of presenting the bill without itemization, "forgetting" the "special" and what I feel was padding the bill with unnecessary and undisclosed treatment was too far for me.

Response to their claims below:…read more So you are claiming it was available on 9/21, well that was the exact date of my flight. I could provide proof of that. You specifically told me that I needed to change my flight in order to receive the certificate if I couldn't pick it up on 9/21, which is truly unfair especially because you were aware of my flight date. Just because you claim, "Once a certificate is submitted, the process is outside of our control and cannot be stopped or altered" does not mean you can take my (correction: $450) and blame it on me. If I were to check your database, it would 100% back up my case. Too bad you didn't email me confirmation of the date of available pickup...definitely to cover up your mistake. The worst part of this for me as a client is the fact that I made the first appointment on the earliest possible date of the given window for international certificates, and still you couldn't provide the proper service. That may be forgivable as long as you owned your mistake and gave me back my money but again, you handled everything incorrectly. You clearly put your clients last and money first. I am currently talking to my attorney as I am considering taking legal action for this mess. If anyone deals with this disreputable animal hospital, I encourage you to ask for documentation of everything so you can better prepare for situations such as this.

Denise and another receptionist that…read morehelped me over the phone for over 20 minutes did amazing on explaining prices and how procedures work before I came in. I love that you're allowed to go in the back either way your pet. It was over all amazing and their clinic is beyond beautiful and clean. Last but not least pricing is affordable I believe I have found a trusted veterinarian I definitely recommend everyone here.
