It was a great class by a top notch instructor. Her inner light shines! I came back the next day for a Yin class with another instructor whose name was Jessica. Also a great experience and different from Yin classes I've attended previously. The focus was on balancing the 7 chakras, with a pose focused on each one. When I checked in, I mentioned that I had a free birthday pass (I even had the email to show it), but Joe Elliot at the front insisted they didn't offer that. He also claimed it had expired, even though I still had two days left. It was honestly frustrating and made me feel uncomfortable, especially since it was my first time there. Thankfully, another staff member stepped in and confirmed that I was right, otherwise I probably would have just left. Ironically, Joe Elliot ended up being the instructor. The class itself was amazing, but because of the awkward start, I didn't fully enjoy the experience as much as I hoped. That said, I do think the studio has potential and I'm willing to give it another shot. I'll likely be back to take more classes, just probably not with him again.

I recovered from two hip surgeries here, the practice is amazing physical (and mental) therapy as an addon to any PT that a dr might recommend. I always look forward to the early a.m. classes as the ride over the bridge in the rising sunlight is an inspired start to any day!

When EVERYONE addressed their concerns, the school never responded. Training was supposed to happen over 18 days. 16 days later we were finished and left alone at property - no meals that were prepaid were available. I'm a grown adult and was able to take care of myself. I felt deeply concerned having underage students there. It costed us about another 1K having to pay for every single time we needed transportation, and food. Again, school never even replied to us. After so many concerns being addressed regarding this school Yoga Alliance is now investigating and considering to not even approve of their trainings anymore.

Our house is right over the highway with loud traffic...the living room, (which is also my bedroom), is our yoga studio. It is too small for 11 students and 2 trainers. The pictures shown on the website are from a completely different trainings. We were told we would be walking distance to the beach. We are not. We have 2 bathrooms for 13 people. The on site chef is actually our yoga trainers. We can't take a walk because we are on the highway. There is no yard space for outside Yoga. The owner of the school wrote to the first woman that complained that our trainers find the space suitable and that we have 2 trouble makers that are stirring the pot. This is a lie. Our trainers absolutely made it clear that they are agreement with us. Once we all complained, the owner immediately took down the picture of our current house and inserted new text on her website. Four of the eleven students have left because of the lack of space and no outside yard practice. Everyone plans on complaining to Yoga Alliance. We have asked to speak to the studio owner of the yoga school and although she agreed she has not followed through. Our trainers are not getting calls returned. Now that we have fewer people, I actually have a bedroom and there is more time for field trips. The funds are minimal for food so although they are doing the best to make the meals tasty, they are somewhat repetitive. Several of us complained to the school owner and she sent us all form letters to contact the yoga alliance. I have asked for a partial reimbursement which is unlikely.
