It was definitely challenging (in the best way), which is exactly what I look for in a workout. The heated room made me sweat it out and push myself even more, and I left feeling strong, balanced, and totally refreshed. Gabrielle is such a motivating instructor--her energy keeps you engaged and her cues are clear, so you always know how to adjust or push yourself further. I also appreciated how the class combined traditional vinyasa with optional weights, so it works for all levels but still keeps things intense if you want the extra challenge. If you're looking for a workout that pushes you while also helping you build strength, flexibility, and mindfulness, I couldn't recommend this class enough. Can't wait to come back!

I have taken the most classes with Tracey. I absolutely love her as a teacher. She is so kind, patient, and supportive. I have learned a lot from her as an instructor. She always has a really good quote at the end of the session. She has brought in a sound bowl for us and that was legitimately one of the most relaxing experiences of my life! I recommend this place to everybody! They work with all levels and there is such a large variety of classes to choose from.

The price was very reasonable, but you also have the option booking on ClassPass! The classes range from very easy to pretty intense. I consider myself to be pretty skilled, I practice yoga multiple times a week. I love the instructor Rosalba, I find her classes to be the perfect level of challenge. Her playlist is great and I usually walk away from the class learning something new. Her "Flow: All Levels" class gives opportunities for inversions and more advanced poses. Anyone who is interested in investing in their health should start yoga, and there is no better place to start than The Yoga Garden. I recommend coming early before class, since the room fills up fairly quickly!

I was grateful to find Pilates and Fitness in Powell, and when I met the owner...I was sold. Sarah is my training angel! She's an incredibly knowledgeable trainer who is focused, smart, funny and kind. Her deep understanding of exercise and the body's reaction to movement continues to amaze me. She's non-judgmental and simply wants to help her clients be and do their best. My 1:1 workouts with Sarah are designed for my abilities and goals and are varied, appropriately challenging, and interesting. I quickly gained confidence and she was able to accommodate and support some physical issues that remained from a major surgery. I do both Pilates (on a real Reformer, love it) and fitness workouts during the same session. Sarah walks the talk--she's in phenomenal shape herself but understands that after a certain age (ahem) bodies do change. I've been training with Sarah for the last year and a half and can't recommend her highly enough.

The school teaches a very martial "old school" form of Aikido, with the emphasis being on practical techniques, as opposed to the more esoteric forms of the art. The instructors are absolutely world class, and all of them have a minimum of 30 years in the art. The other students are extremely approachable, helpful, and supportive of anyone interested in learning Aikido. The school is located on a standalone plot of land, has separate changing rooms for men and women (with showers) as well as 2,000 sq feet of training space.

Please forgive the length of this review but it is important to me…read more I joined this gym to build back the muscle I lost during my cancer treatment which involved surgery and six months of chemotherapy. I knew I was going to need a trainer to insure I wouldn't hurt myself trying to lift something too heavy, or fall from attempting an exercise that my extremely weak body couldn't handle. I was referred by my friend to hire Debbie Barnes to train me. I will admit that what I have endured through my cancer diagnosis and treatment was harder than anything I went through and when I started with Debbie I had a wealth of fear and reservations. We agreed to start my workout at 6:30AM on Monday, Wednesday and Fridays for 30 minutes. The gym is nice and cool with plenty of equipment. Some of it needs a little maintenence here and there but overall it's in good shape. The bathrooms are always clean and stocked with the adequate amount of soap and paper towels. There are plenty of machines, free weights, treadmills, bikes and so on. I never have to wait on a machine. One of the things that I appreciate is that everyone wipes down the machines or weights after using them to minimize the spread of germs. Debbie is extremely knowledgeable and was conscienous of my inability to do much when I first started. We began with little or no weight on the machines which was all I could tolerate. I still remember my first work out and how I thought I was going to die right their in front of everyone. It has been three months since that day and I have been as dedicated as anyone could be to working out considering my condition. What's the point of this diatribe you may ask? Good question. It is to show you that this establishment has dedicated individuals who care about what they do and where they do it. They realize that a business is more about the flesh than the paper that runs it. If you are looking for a well maintained gym with knowledgeable and caring staff, you found it!

Weight…read moremachines have visible rust, cables are spotty, cable equipment is hard to find, the lighting is poor, and the cardio equipment is dirty. I first went there in 2021 and recently returned. It seemed like the same cardio equipment that was "out of order" then is still out of order. Of the ellipticals that function, only four are worthwhile and one would not find these 4 in better run facilities. It needs a wholesale cleaning and upgrade in every piece of equipment. Since the owner's know they are the only game in town, there is NO SHOT of that happening. Use it for a work-out, but be prepared to be keenly underwhelmed. It's a really tired space that has so much potential to be great. The owner's are not in a rush to make it so.
