I am thoroughly disappointed in my experience here. I called the night before to book a Combo…read moremassage (30 min foot and 30 min body). When I walked in today the woman was surprised I was there and could not understand what service I was there for even though I pointed to it on the menu a few times. After finally getting on the same page I was brought to a room with multiple chairs. She put my feet in a bucket and then massaged my arms and hands but only used lotion on my right arm and not my left which I found very odd and actually a bit painful. When it was time for the foot massage, she spent a lot of time massaging BONEY PARTS of my feet and legs. She spent a lot of time on my KNEES which I had to tell her multiple times to stop because it really hurt. She spent time on my shins and the tops of my feet and individual toes... I literally cannot stress enough how much time she spent on my knees... After all of that she only spent about 7 minutes per foot and did not even touch my heels which was the biggest reason for going in. After this she told me to follow her to a room which I'm assuming was for the body massage. She led me to the room, pointed to the bed, shut the curtain and left. I had no direction of what to do, and I didn't see a blanket or gown to be dressed or covered in so I decided to just not go through with the body portion of the massage. I went up to the desk asked if I could tip on the card and after about 5 minutes she presents a higher price than the menu showed so I tipped 18% (to compensate for the price difference) said thanks and left. She looked at the receipt and stared me down as I was walking to the parking lot. I would NOT recommend this facility for any service at all. My feet still hurt and now my knees hurt too.

Every movement felt intentional--no rushing, no discomfort, just steady, focused care. What sets Red Lotus apart is the sense of legitimacy and safety. They asked for my full name when booking, confirmed via text, and treated me with total respect throughout the entire process. You won't get any of the vague, uncomfortable energy you might've felt at less reputable places. This is the real deal--professional massage therapy with soul. At $156 for 90 minutes, it's not only worth every penny, it's a better value than many of the places that charge more and give you less. If you're looking for true, grounded, respectful care, book with Donna. You'll walk out lighter, clearer, and feeling like your body actually belongs to you again.

I NEVER write this kind of review. However, I thought it was important to. I walk in with my…read moredaughter, and there is an immediate feel of unrest. Three people came out (of which the space is very small and dark), and they spoke amongst each other to see who would take who and for which service (head hydromassage and body massage - 60 minutes each). I went into my room for a body massage. Bed not warm, and just a cheap sheet on. The message was very VERY rough. messaged over towels (not warmed). I thought I would be getting a rub burn. THEN, later, the oil comes out, and she wore gloves, which were ... bunched-up on her hands, so I felt that. I then turned over, and she basically threw a towel over my eyes (not warm, just a towel!). VERY painful, even when I stated it was too hard, many times. Also, the movements were very VERY fast, and not whole - relaxing. There are a couple of other things that made me very uncomfortable, but I will leave it at that. I almost just stopped the appointment a few times. I prob should have. The hydromassage was .... okay. 60 minutes is WAY too long for that. NOT going back.

Easy to make an appointment, even easier to modify the appointment time when I got misdirected!…read moreThen I found the location and was very pleased when I walked in to find it so clean and welcoming. My therapist was all about doing the massage and reflexology and did not waste any time getting right to it. I felt that she had a lot of skill and experience and was able to address my pressing issues without input on my part. I will be sure to visit this location the next time I am in town.

I want to start by saying the space was clean and inviting and the massage itself was relaxing. The…read moremassage therapist was experienced and did a good job. When I called to make the appointment, I was informed that the cost is $75 for the 60-minute foot reflexology and cash for tip (all of which I had no problem). Prior to the massage, I was charged the $75 which was fine. At the conclusion of my massage I paid the employee a 20% tip. As I was walking away, the employee stopped me and pointed to the sign on the wall which identifies their tipping rates. She was making a point that I under tipped her based on the sign and she was insinuating I pay her more. The sign listed a 60-minute massage as a tip rate of $20 (which is more than 20%). Mind you, the sign did not contain language such as suggested or recommended. Furthermore, their website says nothing about a mandatory tip requirement. Per MA state law, businesses cannot require a tip on services nor can employers demand/request a tip (unless it is a service charge or for large parties). Tips are considered discretionary and are up to the customer. While it was my goal to leave this experience relaxed and rejuvenated, I ended up leaving offended and annoyed.
