This was a VERY different massage experience I've ever had! My husband got me a massage as a gift and he thought it looked nice by some reviews. First, Connecting with someone wasn't easy and text messaging was our only way of communicating. A few weeks go by and on the day of my massage I call to confirm my appointment is still at 1:00? They told me I wasn't in their schedule but they could get me in for 12:00 or 3:30. I got the address from Google and that worked fine but they is not in suite 205. The building is very old with 5 floors. There were no signs to direct you which way to go. Floor 2 wasn't right so called and found out it was 5th floor. I didn't see a elevator otherwise I would have taken it. Finally reached it and was right on time and so close to missing my appointment. Then I had paper work to fill out. that my massage was shortened by 15 minutes. The girl was horrible at the massage and the room was just as bad. A loud ac blasting right at your head. Bright room and thin, not very nice sheets. Soft rock music was playing. I wasn't asked how I wanted the room, dark or light, the music I wanted to hear. Overall it was very uncomfortable and not very professional. I can't believe this business is surviving. My husband was very disappointed he bought me a crappy Xmas gift. read more

I am a first time client and was given an Ashiatsu massage by Desiree. I was skeptical at first because its all done by her feet, however my husband could not stop raving about this style of massage. Parking is a bit difficult, however in your reminder email, there's a lot of information to where parking is located. From the outside of the building I had no idea what to expect inside, however it is a well designed and appealing to the eye. Very welcoming and nice, explained how the massage is done. The room is gorgeous (I would've wanted it for a bedroom ). All and all it was a great experience and I'll definitely be back again. read more

Today I had my a massage here with Lindsey. I wish I could rate it with 10 stars because that still would not be enough! After meeting her, I changed to a Deep Tissue vs Relaxation and she found knots that have probably been there 60+ years! The room was very relaxing and perfect temperature. Joy is phenomenal. during a massage session she recognized muscle issues that I have dealt with for years. I have had muscle spasms that medical professionals have not been able to find the source of, and I was resigned to just live with the pain. Joy tried the piezowave and it worked immediately in the area applied. I am hopeful that I can gain additional relief but am already grateful for the relief gained from the first session. Ok. So. Ive reviewed this based on family experiences but now that I've had my own, ya'll gots to know. This place is awesome. Desiree is awesome. A lot of fun and a really relaxing space to get your body squared away. I had a deep tissue massage and apparently my entire body is very angry with me and all knotted up. Desiree resolved a lot but she did say it would take some time so I'm booked for more. At times it felt like Desiree's house of pain. I will admit i cried out a few times. Son of a Biscuit. God Bless America and lots of noises I've never uttered. In the end I know its good but the thought of making t-shirts that say: I survived come to mind. Their online booking portal does NOT work. I booked an appointment and was told someone would reach out to me to confirm the appointment. I then got an email saying to fill out a history and sign a waiver, so I did. I figured the place wouldn't have me fill out a history if my appointment wasn't confirmed, so I went to my appointment at the time that I booked it. First off, the door was locked and there were no instructions on what to do. Secondly, I wait 40 minutes for the door to be opened only to be told that they couldn't take me because they had someone else coming in in 20 minutes. THEN, The owner emailed me and told me that the appointment was a request not an actual booking, as if it's my fault that no one reached out to me for the week in between my booking in the appointment even when they said they would. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. Extremely unprofessional. read more

Even before I stepped in this place I had a bad experience . I booked online for a couples massage , gave my info , they sent me a confirmation email saying I was good to go for a Saturday . The next day I received an email from the salon saying that spot was no longer available . I asked them when their next availability was , and no response . Needless to say they missed a great regular client opportunity . I am in healthcare and would have gone fr regular massages if I liked them as my upper body / shoulders tend to get tight knots due to my work . read more

Five stars for Desiree at Body Kneads!!!! I have gone to her several times in the past few months for Deep Tissue massages. I have been to several massage therapists prior to her and they never relieved my shoulder and neck pain. After 2 sessions I started to feel much better and now I have no pain. Any therapist I have had prior can't compare to Desiree. Desiree is the best therapist out there and she is just an all around awesome person!! read more

So I book an online appointment for a next day massage. I also called and left a VM. The website says all bookings will be confirmed. I call the next day to confirm as the owner hadn't yet and when I texted her, the reply was "sorry, we are closed today". Would've been nice to know that ahead of time. Not a good way to do business. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this place. I've had massages all around the world and Body Kneads is one of the best I've ever had. Very experienced and attentive. I've been twice and found that they listen to your input and understand their craft. They knew where my pain was before I even told them. That is skill and experience at work. I bought my husband an $80.00 gift card here in mid February for a massage after a cousin had recommended Desiree. After calling and texting and not getting a response, I finally sent an email. She finally got back to me with an appt. for a Wednesday at 2:45. I replied asking for a night or weekend appointment as a 2:45 appointment in the afternoon might work for a retired individual but not for a working class person. I never heard back from her. My husband also tried calling when I gave up. It's now mid March. I've never had this much trouble trying to make an appointment for a massage. I now am in the process of disputing the charge with my credit card. What a disappointment! Sorry to my husband for a birthday gift he could not use. read more

Desiree has really impressed me. And honestly it is hard to do for several reasons: 1. I'm a part - time personal trainer and pilates instructor (just opened my own studio 2 months ago); 2. I had couple of injuries; 3. I've tried different massage therapists. It is really hard to find a massage therapist who does deep tissue very well. Not only Desiree is very considerate when it comes to amount of pressure she applies, she also mixes massage with unique physical therapy style stretches which will make your body feel better. Also, I really loved how cozy and comfortable the place was. The music was divine, the decor was tasteful and not annoying and the whole place was so inviting that for a second I had a temptation to just stay there forever :). My experience with body kneading was fantastic! Desiree misco was by far the best massage I have ever had! I highly recommend her. I had the opportunity to watch her students and could not believe how good they got after 2 hours of teaching. If you want to learn or need work on your body like I do. Desiree is the person to see!
