It was steam cleaned, honed, filled and re-grouted where necessary and it is just beautiful. I had another company promise these results (yes, I left them a poor review several years ago after they failed), so I entered into this contract with low expectations. All I can say is WOW!!! I'll be using them annually from now on, and likely will have to re-do this major maintenance every 5 years--this is a soft marble--but believe me when I say this is money very well spent.

Superior Floors to the rescue!!…read more Before moving into our new house, we had the tile replaced with vinyl plank (LVP) by another company, who really screwed up one of the rooms. There was a giant soft spot since they started removing the tile but then stopped and just laid the vinyl planks over the tile, including the big hole they left. We went round and round with the first company to try getting them to fix it, until they just stopped showing up or returning phone calls. I found Superior Floors on Yelp and called them to see if they would be willing to fix someone else's mistake. Ryan came out to evaluate the situation and came up with a plan. A couple of weeks later, the installers came out, removed the poorly laid vinyl planks, removed the tile that was supposed to have been removed by the previous company, and reinstalled the planks. The floor is now solid and looks great! I appreciate their willingness to come out for a smaller job and fix someone else's mistake. They'll be my go-to for the future!

He used a grinder on the floor, I think that's what it's called... I paid extra for a vapor seal to keep out moisture, totally worked, then I got a coat of epoxy. I think it lasts 5 years or so before I can think about another coat. 1 coat worked well for me, but I'm interested in 2 coats in the future & maybe some decorative fancy flecks of color. Right now mine is gray to match the water heater perfectly. The glossiness is incredible. After I cut the grass I'm HOT, but I can lay on the floor, no one is watching, and it's so nice and cool. Cools me. That brilliant floor makes me want to use the garage more! I even moved a small tv out there. It's much easier to sweep the floor, & makes the space so much nicer. I highly recommend them.

The second was to remove the hardwood and put LVP in the entire space. R.B. came to my home on October 4 and measured etc. and said I would receive the estimates within a few days. After one week I still had not received the estimates so I called him. He told me he was sorry, they were short on help and he would have them to me the next day. It is now Nov. 3 and I have still not received the quotes. Needless to say, I would not do business with AB Floors & Restoration as they are proven to be unreliable.

Within 48 hrs, it was determined that the drain hose from our dishwasher (which is housed in the middle of a long island) had been leaking. We have wood floors throughout our home, and the water had traveled several feet under the island, causing extensive damage before it made itself evident. I called hardwood floor specialists, general contractors, and AB Floors & Restoration. NOBODY was as equipped to resolve EVERY aspect of this problem as was AB Floors & Restoration. Not only do they have the technical expertise to dry out the wood, remove water, restore floors and cabinets (among other things), but they also have the business acumen to ensure that the process is seamless. They even handle communication with the insurance company. Ronald, one of the owners, explained his expertise in this area and requested to speak with the insurance adjuster directly. He handled the initial visit with the adjuster at our home, and everything Ronald recommended was approved immediately. There were no surprises in the form of additional fees as the job got going. AB is a family business. The owners are present and very responsive. It is obvious that any subs needed are carefully selected excellent craftsmen. I cannot imagine the amount of stress we would have endured had we done this any other way. Without AB Floors, we would have had to hire several different kinds of specialists (i.e. flooring, plumbing, cabinetry, painting, etc.), leaving ourselves in charge and holding the bag whenever something went wrong or when the various specialists bumped into one another. I'm quite certain there also would have been surprises along the way, adding to the cost and the timing. If you are unfortunate enough to have a water problem, particularly one affecting wood floors, you would be very fortunate to have AB Floors & Restorations resolve it for you.

I'm so grateful we went with them because they did an incredible job. Michael's crew was even better than we were hoping for. They showed up on time, were very detailed in their work, made sure the leveling and spacing was perfect, and were in constant contact with us, making sure any concerns or questions were immediately addressed. One of my favorite parts of their work is when they showed us an issue with leveling or spacing and then fixed it without us having to say a word. They also left the house in a much better condition than I was expecting with some cleaning (everything was covered in tile dust after they removed the old tile). Overall, it was just a wonderful job. I'm relieved we had such a great experience with tile installation and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them!

I'm putting this out to anyone who is thinking of getting Dreamcrete to do any job for them. This…read morecompany does not stand by their work or their employees that come out and do the job. I don't think I've ever hired anyone to do any kind of a job that would not come back out and fix their mistakes. I had Dreamcrete come out to my house to give me a bid for a stamped concrete driveway. A gentleman came out and was very thorough. When I asked him about removing the entire driveway, he was adamant that it didn't need to be done. He said our concrete had been there for a while and was done settling and there would be no need for that. I've worked with concrete in New Jersey in the past and I know it does crack, but he assured me that they cut into the cracks in the existing concrete and seal them. He also stated that because we don't get the cold weather here and the bonding used, it would not crack the stamping, He said they would be able to go right over the existing driveway. I reiterated about the cracking, considering they only put a 3/8 inch thin set over top of the concrete and that I was afraid it wasn't strong enough to hold the weight of vehicles, but again he assured me that it will not crack. He told me they've done this type of job before, including for Disney. Once they completed the job, it looked extremely nice. But, they put the expansion joint in the wrong place and had to come back and chip up the right side and redo it and re-cut the expansion joint.  While they were there, I showed them some of the cracks that were already coming through, which was only 5-6 months after the job was completed. They said they would reach out to their boss and get back to me. Once they left, I never heard back from them. A month later, I started seeing a lot more cracks, so I called them again. They sent someone out to look at it. He noticed how bad it looked and understood why I was upset and took pictures to send them to the boss. The boss said concrete is going to crack. I told him about the conversation I had with the estimator about him assuring me that it would not crack. His answer was that he no longer worked with the company. He continued by saying if I wanted it to be fixed, they could redo the entire driveway, but that I would have to pay them to redo the job. At that point, I already paid them almost $20,000. Since then, I've noticed the last few months that the stamping is now peeling away from the existing driveway and every time I blow off my lawn, I'm finding more and more pieces that are separating. They even helped me pick up the flooring for a small fee, which was totally fair, and handled everything from there. Their pricing was better than a lot of the other quotes I got, and the whole process was smooth. The owners are a great husband and wife team, and all of their workers were friendly and respectful. Everyone had a great attitude. They were working hard, so I even jumped in to help unload some flooring and clean up a bit. That's not something I'd normally do, but they were just good people. The installation looked great, and they cleaned everything up before they left. I had to catch a flight the next day, so I didn't get a chance to inspect every room before leaving, but from what I saw, everything looked excellent. They even stayed late to make sure everything was finished before I had to leave for the airport. That meant a lot because my schedule was tight.
