I'm putting this out to anyone who is thinking of getting Dreamcrete to do any job for them. This company does not stand by their work or their employees that come out and do the job. I don't think I've ever hired anyone to do any kind of a job that would not come back out and fix their mistakes. I had Dreamcrete come out to my house to give me a bid for a stamped concrete driveway. A gentleman came out and was very thorough. When I asked him about removing the entire driveway, he was adamant that it didn't need to be done. He said our concrete had been there for a while and was done settling and there would be no need for that. I've worked with concrete in New Jersey in the past and I know it does crack, but he assured me that they cut into the cracks in the existing concrete and seal them. He also stated that because we don't get the cold weather here and the bonding used, it would not crack the stamping, He said they would be able to go right over the existing driveway. I reiterated about the cracking, considering they only put a 3/8 inch thin set over top of the concrete and that I was afraid it wasn't strong enough to hold the weight of vehicles, but again he assured me that it will not crack. He told me they've done this type of job before, including for Disney. Once they completed the job, it looked extremely nice. But, they put the expansion joint in the wrong place and had to come back and chip up the right side and redo it and re-cut the expansion joint.  While they were there, I showed them some of the cracks that were already coming through, which was only 5-6 months after the job was completed. They said they would reach out to their boss and get back to me. Once they left, I never heard back from them. A month later, I started seeing a lot more cracks, so I called them again. They sent someone out to look at it. He noticed how bad it looked and understood why I was upset and took pictures to send them to the boss. The boss said concrete is going to crack. I told him about the conversation I had with the estimator about him assuring me that it would not crack. His answer was that he no longer worked with the company. He continued by saying if I wanted it to be fixed, they could redo the entire driveway, but that I would have to pay them to redo the job. At that point, I already paid them almost $20,000. Since then, I've noticed the last few months that the stamping is now peeling away from the existing driveway and every time I blow off my lawn, I'm finding more and more pieces that are separating. Hired dreamcrete to install kitchen and master bath concrete counter tops. What a disaster. From not being able to come up with the look i wanted to not finishing the underside of the tops to not coming back to caulk the seams it was a total joke. They ask for money up front then don't meet deadlines. The concrete scraps and dust from the under side of the tops constantly fall into my drawers. They refused to do anything about it. Make up and other things in bathroom drawers are always covered in concrete dust, even a year later. Not what you expect when you pay $15,000 for counter tops. read more

DreamCrete Custom Creations - Flooring Near Me - Orlando, Florida

Dreamcrete Custom Creations Fraud! On NOv 14, 2021 paid Zach Dandara owner of Dreamcrete Custom Creations LLC $63,300 to do custom overlay and stamping for 12,000 sq ft driveway. Zach said his "largest residential job ever." Payment was advance to buy custom cement for a discount prior to Jan 1 2022. Signed electronic contract from Dreamcrete system. Never received copy after numerous requests. Work promised to start in 2 weeks and never done. We called Zach and he forgot who we were. Finally had their highly regarded cement contractor on side after 7 weeks to assess the work and schedule a start date. Contractor was very disturbed. Said he could not do anything without Zach. The cost to do the job did not reconcile with Zach's quote. The reason is most of driveway cannot be fixed and must be demolished first. Demo and repair driveway, repair fresh cement, overlay with Dremecrete custom cement, Stamp, Seal = Total cost of over $170,000. Clearly Zach intentionally misrepresented his quote to obtain the advance money. After 3 1/2 months sent Dreamcrete official demand letter about not doing business with them, and receiving immediate refund. Zach finally calls and says Dreamcrete is not accountable like most construction companies. The type of work Dreamcrete performs does not require a general contractors license, also he is not required to file permits and have inspections from the county. Dreamcrete also does not refund deposits (advance) and his attorney claims he had a verbal contract with us. We have been through the initial legal process with Dreamcrete and they have been uncooperative. We will now start a law suit to recover advance and damages. Dreamcrete showed a lot of reviews, pictures, BBB ratings, business with Disney and Universal, but is now clearly milking their reputation and any good will to pull this type of Fraudulent Sham on homeowners. read more

NightmareCrete -- Down 15K and a Year Of Disappointment - Wood Texture Edition - Zero Stars If you go with DreamCrete don't say I didn't warn you. Be prepared for excuse after excuse on why things cannot be accomplished and an overall feeling of disappointment. They will tell you everything you want can be done to get your business, then come up empty handed. This is perhaps the worst company I have ever worked with. 1. Timing: The down payment for my project was made on October of 2021. After being told that they would begin the project in two months, it was not completed until November of 2022. This was NOT made clear from the beginning, otherwise I would have gone with another company. Every time we asked when they were going to come to start it was always an excuse. I understand that life happens, but if the owner is sick or out of town, that doesn't mean the whole company is shut down. After seeing how much work the owner, Zach, personally did on the project (none), I am confused on why his multiple trips out of town, illness, and downright ghosting for days at a time meant his employees couldn't come out. 2. Communication: If you have anything done ask to speak with the design team or the people that will be pouring your concrete countertop. Zach told me to buy anything I wanted for my summer kitchen, and it could be done. Which ended up being false. After making a hefty purchase turns out two of the items couldn't fit period. It took starting the construction to realize this. For one of the items, I had to bite the bullet on the cost of returning, for the other one Zach did discount it from the final price. HOWEVER, a third item should have been removed because my sink is in an unusable spot (see photos). Anyone who has ever used a grill knows it gets very hot and itll be impossible to ever use this sink while the grill is fired up. You'll risk getting burned. 3. Workmanship: Get ready for your job to be Instagram vs Reality. All the wood texture you see online from DreamCrete was NOT completed by the person who did my summer kitchen. Brad did a terrible job not once but twice. Don't call yourself a professional if you cannot accomplish the tasks you claim to be able to do. The first time the coloring was okay, but the grout lines were terrible. There was clumping and cracking all around the wood textured wall; it just looked fake and not finished. The second time, the color came out super dark and there are literally pieces of concrete that aren't dyed. Just straight up gaps in the color. Zach and Brad constantly hide behind the mantle of 'artistry' but the fact of the matter is that this is POOR WORKMANSHIP. Both Brad and Zach tried to leave pieces of exposed cinder block that were visible from inside my house and behind my grill. After complaining enough about the visible concrete, they did something about it. No caulk was used to seal the edges and living in Florida, critters get everywhere. I had to ask to get that done. When they finally came to caulk they did some of it. I asked them to caulk the part where the wood texture meets the counter top and I was told 'that's not necessary' by brad. See photos. 4. No Solutions: Despite all these issues, I got an I'm sorry at most. No discounted price for the length of time it took, no extras, no nothing! Truthfully, I would have been happy if he would have just returned our down payment after 6 months of the work not being completed. As a company owner, I would be more concerned about my customers being happy and not tarnishing my brand name. In short, you can see the finishes are amateur at best. They probably haven't posted the pictures of my summer kitchen because even they know it is embarrassing work. My grill isn't fully functional because they didn't measure correctly. Its crooked and I can't open the drawers fully. So now I have a hideous summer kitchen and a partially functional grill. Company rebranding should be NightmareCrete... TLDR; Save yourself time and money (they're not cheap). NOT worth the stress and constant micromanaging. read more

I only write reviews for incredibly exceptional or incredibly horrible experiences. My experience with DreamCrete Custom Creations and their whole crew was nothing less than superb. My wife and I built our Dream Home on a beautiful Lake and I wanted to polish my garage floor for that extra touch. I actually hired another contractor (Dr. Terrazzo) first (before finding DreamCrete) but they backed out of my project after leaving a huge oil stain on my brand new expensive driveway and I asked them to park on the street and move their equipmentin by hand... I found DreamCrete and spoke with Zach (the owner), telling him about my horrible experience with Dr. Terrazzo. Even though they were far away, he came out to look at my project that day! He got me on the schedule ASAP. The whole crew was extremely professional, on time, courteous and even walked all of their equipment up and down my driveway by hand!! I have been in customer service for 31 years, and place my experience with Dreamcrete at the top of the list. They get my highest recommendation without hesitation. Not a dream, but a nightmare. We hired Dreamcrete because we wanted concrete floors to align with our terrazzo floors in areas where the terrazzo was not. Owner Zach missed first appointment with me (red flag I should have heeded). Sales tactics were pushy and high-pressure (another red flag I should have heeded). Sales person Michael disappeared and reappeared only to collect checks -- they charge more than most in the industry. We paid in full, ,but were dissatisfied with the result -- uneven, splotchy color that looked like someone spilled something on a dirty floor. We went through more than two months of painful negotiating with all the owners to get changes made -- they did not want to make changes. Since floor was sealed, they would have needed to grind off the sealer to redo. They finally conceded to try a redo. They only ground off sealer in part of the house (which they lied about, telling us they ground off sealer throughout) and applied new coat of concrete overlay with a squeegee and no troweling. Overlay went up onto bottom of custom cabinetry. In some parts of the house, this was applied right over the previously sealed floor, which they didn't tell us. End result was an overlay that could be easily peeled up with one scrape or gouge and then your fingers. Now I cannot get anyone to even put tile over this because of the sealer. After paying Dreamcrete $6600, I have to pay someone else to grind it all off. This put our renovation many months behind and is extremely difficult and expensive to resolve. read more

We contacted them to see if they knew anything about repairing an antique concrete sinks. Not only was Zach very knowledgeable, he stopped by our home that very same day and helped us repair the leak. They could not have been nicer to work with and we felt their price was more than fair, especially considering the uniqueness of the project. read more

We initially had another company do our concrete countertops, bathroom vanity, and bar by the pool. The color came out horrible and didn't match what we wanted but the company representative cut off all ties and left us with a mess we already paid for. We were lucky to get introduced to the DreamCrete Team. Most companies do not like to come in after another company but they agreed to help us since the job that was left in our home was just that bad. We went with the cheapest quote we got for our home and it was not the best idea for obvious reasons because we ended up paying twice for the same job, but DreamCrete made my countertops look like marble.
