Lupe was very easy to work with. He fit us in so our project could go forward. Thank you for that! It is beautiful!

This review is long over due but hopefully worth the wait. We couldn't be more passionate about…read morethis company, George, and the incredible job done on our kitchen granite! Our request was a bit unconventional; we had all the granite in a handful of pieces already and needed help cutting, joining and polishing edges. We wanted to have this done at our home because we had limited pieces, they fit our counter space only one way (sides weren't same length/depth), and were afraid if done in a shop there would be a high chance for a mis-cut, and we'd be SOL. A handful of companies seemed confused and didn't like that we wouldn't be purchasing the material through them. Most also refused to do it outside of the shop, given the dust and lack of transferable equipment. George, however, although weary of the dust as well, came to the house to check everything out and agreed to do it at our home with my husband's help. Just the two of them, we bought the appropriate masks/filters they spent every bit of 12 hours working their tails off. George was extremely focused on quality, emphasizing the importance he places on the details, down to matching the filler color as close to the granite as possible. This is a man with incredible work ethic, and appreciation for kind people. He was grateful for my husband's help for the duration of the project. We couldn't be happier with how our kitchen turned out and can't recommend George enough! He will definitely be our go-to guy for our future home needs. We sincerely appreciated his genuineness and commitment.

The commercials for Granite Plus are enticing, offering the best prices and customer service, but…read moreour experience fell short of those expectations. My wife and I spent a couple months deliberating over the right granite for our kitchen remodel and the right granite fabricator. When we stumbled on Granite Plus we found our perfect slab and had a good vibe from our initial impression with the two owners (Lanette and Lazarus) that we worked with. They assured us that good customer service was paramount along with the fact we would get the very best price. Fast forwarding to our installation day some of our backsplash was missing and our bar top was set to be installed, but was short by 8 inches! Mistakes do happen, but we were met with a litany of excuses (one of which was to blame us for the bar top being too short) and we were not followed up with by the dates we were promised. To be fair, there was an issue with the 2nd slab for the redo of the bar top and after some back and forth Lazarus offered to let us go to Chicago to pick out the one we wanted. On a positive note the installers were very professional and did a great job.

After signing all their…read morepaperwork saying they are not responsible for any damages to your house and putting money down to get started, we even had to pay a charge for an oversized piece. I assumed they would send a larger crew to handle the larger piece. We started laying out the counter top. My wife spent several hours over multiple days working with multiple designers for the best pattern. On install day, 2 guys showed up and I asked if another crew member was coming to help with the oversized counter and they said no. Why was there an oversized charge when I needed to help the 2 workers lift the oversized counter? The layout that my wife approved with G.P. was not what we got. The pattern/seam does not line up to the drawing they provided. I understand that the fabricator has the final say, but it was not even close to lining up and not brought to our attention that it would not line up. Looks bad. One piece, 25"x22", also was cut crooked by about 1/4" so now next to the stove, it is tight toward the front of the stove, and there is a 1/4" gap at the back of stove. Other pieces are not cut square, but not 1/4" off. On another piece, they scraped and gouged the walls, which needed patching and repainting. Maybe a larger crew (that I paid the oversized fee for) may have prevented this. I am giving two stars because of patterns that don't line up, for not being able to cut a small piece square, and for having to patch and paint walls.
