A store associate kindly explained they weren't getting the calendar frame until the next day and they would call me. She was very kind and I understood. Days went by and no call (this was for a same day pickup order mind you). I finally got a call and voicemail saying it was ready. I excitedly went to the store and a store associate rudely told me it wasn't ready yet. I told her I received a phone call that it was ready to which she responded rudely and loudly in front of all patrons, "it doesn't matter if you got a call! It's not ready!" I was shocked. She then asked to see the voicemail and when she saw it was an automated message she raised her voice and said "don't listen to this, it's automated! You don't come in for that!" I said how am I supposed to know? It said my order was ready. She continued to argue with me and publicly try to embarrass me. I am livid. I have been coming to this CVS my entire life. No one deserves to be treated this way, especially when the problem that occurred was on the store's end. I am a customer and there was zero customer service given to me today. For reference, I went on 2/1/23 at 4:30PM and the woman had short, blonde hair and wore glasses and had a smokers voice. I intend to contact the manager and have this addressed because I am certain this woman must talk to everyone this way. I want to avoid having someone else be treated this way. I have worked in customer service my entire life and even when a customer yelled at me and may have been wrong, I still remained calm and polite because you represent the company you are working for. If this happened once, it'll happen again. And I refuse to continue patronizing a store allowing their employees to treat customers this way. I also still do not have my calendar order that I needed today, February 1st, for work. Update: I contacted corporate about this employee and they told the store manager, who called me to apologize. She was very nice and I appreciate being reached out to.

Unfortunately, many of us don't know anything different than the subpar (to be diplomatic) experience that the major chain pharmacies afford their captive customers. However there is an alternative out there: you just might have to do a little paperwork on your first visit; and you may not be "covered" if your employer-sponsored drug plan is through the CVS-owned Caremark monopoly. Boyd's is a breath of fresh air! Let's see: -The phones are answered promptly and politely by knowledgeable and friendly staff. -The wait times to pick up scripts are never very long (and often non-existent). -If your medicine is out of stock, they'll actually order it for you, and it'll arrive in stock in a day or two. Unlike the big chains, this isn't made out to be some sort of Herculean inconvenience by the staff. You don't have to get district managers involved to simply get the medicine that your healthcare provider thinks is best for you. -transferring scripts here wasn't too difficult, I remember filling out a little paperwork but nothing crazy. -They have a mobile app if you prefer to order refills electronically rather than talk to a human. -Before we had COVID vaccines, Boyd's also had quick call-ahead curbside service. I'd be willing to bet they'd still do it if asked. I believe they deliver as well. -While they aren't in the GoodRx discount program, they will do their best to match their prices. An added bonus for many is that the store doubles as a purveyor of beer, wine and spirits. You will need to go to a separate register for these, but the selection is decent. Many NJ wines and a better craft beer selection than the other package stores I've been to in the immediate bordentown city/fieldsboro area. Their "good neighbor" branded over the counter products are just fine and not everything is horribly priced. Certainly no worse than CVS. If none of the above convinces you to check out Boyd's, here's one more: no 3-foot long receipts with coupons for random crap you aren't buying anyway. Boyd's is my pharmacy for as long as I'm in this region. Even if you must drive a while to get here, you'll still be back home before you'd even be out of the queue at CVS, with your soul uncrushed and faith in humanity intact!

I called in advance to ensure they carried the products I was looking for (a Rollator & a Shower Seat). The pharmacist, Harry, was extremely helpful. Texting me photos with prices, so I wouldn't have to make the trip unnecessarily. They offered an excellent Rollator, at a very reasonable price (relative to other options I had looked into). Samatha, Harry's assistant, was beyond helpful. She could see I was struggling to walk and assisted me to the car with my new Rollator & Shower Seat. She put everything in the car and was just so sweet - talking to me about the importance of good medical services. I was concerned that the shower seat might be a little large, but Samatha took it out of the box so I could see that it would fit perfectly, and it did. The seat is small but sturdy and is working out beautifully. I WOULDN'T HESITATE TO RECOMMEND HARRY's PHARMACY for quality products at a good price, with the long lost art of excellent customer service.

A refill can be placed online or over the phone hours before a trip to the Acme and is always ready upon arrival. Pick-up times can be arranged by the customer and long hours of operation allow for prescriptions to be received at any point in the day. Friendly pharmacy staff and even a drive-thru for those who are in a hurry can always be found at this pharmacy!
