Easy prescription pickup. Clerk noticed pill was different dose than before, so clarified that dose was in fact changed.

I purchased a same day desk calendar pick up. I received the email that my order was ready and when I got there it was not ready. A store associate kindly explained they weren't getting the calendar frame until the next day and they would call me. She was very kind and I understood. Days went by and no call (this was for a same day pickup order mind you). I finally got a call and voicemail saying it was ready. I excitedly went to the store and a store associate rudely told me it wasn't ready yet. I told her I received a phone call that it was ready to which she responded rudely and loudly in front of all patrons, "it doesn't matter if you got a call! It's not ready!" I was shocked. She then asked to see the voicemail and when she saw it was an automated message she raised her voice and said "don't listen to this, it's automated! You don't come in for that!" I said how am I supposed to know? It said my order was ready. She continued to argue with me and publicly try to embarrass me. I am livid. I have been coming to this CVS my entire life. No one deserves to be treated this way, especially when the problem that occurred was on the store's end. I am a customer and there was zero customer service given to me today. For reference, I went on 2/1/23 at 4:30PM and the woman had short, blonde hair and wore glasses and had a smokers voice. I intend to contact the manager and have this addressed because I am certain this woman must talk to everyone this way. I want to avoid having someone else be treated this way. I have worked in customer service my entire life and even when a customer yelled at me and may have been wrong, I still remained calm and polite because you represent the company you are working for. If this happened once, it'll happen again. And I refuse to continue patronizing a store allowing their employees to treat customers this way. I also still do not have my calendar order that I needed today, February 1st, for work. Update: I contacted corporate about this employee and they told the store manager, who called me to apologize. She was very nice and I appreciate being reached out to. read more

CVS is a retail lobotomy. None of their pharmacies seem capable of filling a simple prescription on a timely basis without convening a special session of the United Nations Security Council behind the counter. You sent me a text and a robocall telling me my script was ready and now that I'm here, I might as well be waiting for the Loch Ness Monster. I have nightmares thinking about what mayhem might result if this company fulfills it's mission to become a full-scale health care provider. Can we cancel 2020 already and just move on. read more

I called CVS this morning as soon as they opened to see if I could refill a prescription before leaving on a trip later this afternoon. They said the earliest they could refill was 3pm. When I requested by 2pm because I was leaving g for the airport before 3pm, the pharmacist said "no"...then silence. Rude! read more

I have been coming here since I was a little girl (for 15 years or so now) and I have never had a bad experience. I live around the corner and it has always been my go-to from pharmacy needs to snacks to makeup to personal hygiene. The employees are friendly and willing to help find items that I need. I also love their cards selection and I find myself coming here for cards over any other location. Plus, CVS is a far better company than Wallgreens, so come here rather than the Walgreens across the street! read more

This used to be a nice store with pleasant people working there. Thugs work there now. Not sure about the pharmacy, but the retail store is populated with loud unwelcoming maskless manager, counter staff, and people stocking shelves. I won't go there again. In fact I think I'll just give CVS a rest for a good long while. read more

waiting on hold for over an hour to speak to a pharmacist. Let's see this is now the 2nd time in the last month they have given me the wrong prescription. the drive thru line you can wait up to 45 minutes to be seen. they are absolutely awful! read more

I normally do not have good experiences with CVS pharmacies, but this location is getting my praise for helping me get my medicine to me in the wee hours of the morning. The pharmacist on duty at the time was very pleasant and helped me without any issue. The gentleman who was stocking the shelves and seemed to be the only guy working other than the pharmacist was also really kind and helpful. I work a night shift as well, so I know that these hours can make for a long night, but the gentlemen working at these hours....hats off to them for keeping a great attitude. I can understand the other reviews saying that CVS can often be pretty difficult when it comes to picking up prescriptions (getting texts saying it's ready and then coming in to find out they are not). That has been a common experience for me at other locations, however, this time it was not the case. They went above and beyond this time, and that will be the reason I will keep coming back to this location. Hopefully, this was not just a one time lucky experience, even if it is, they still came through. Thank you to the pharmacist and store associate working the graveyard shift on 3/15! read more

The people at the CVS @ 1099 Rt 33 in Hamilton always go out of their way to help me. Pharmacy staff hustles. I guess they have to since they are always busy. Great place to fill your prescriptions and get stuff you forgot at the supermarket. I've been there at 4 am for an emergency and during the day for regular refills. Very rarely do I ever have a pleasant experience at this pharmacy they say prescriptions are ready and they never are. Today my prescription was to be ready at noon according to a text message but went at four o'clock then it was still not ready. Told it would be ready in an hour so I came back around 6 and it was still not ready. This is a typical experience there for over 4 years. So good luck hopefully you don't really need your prescription cause you may never get it. read more

CVS is a blight on the land. We were clearly struggling with the photo kiosk and no one cared. This kiosk is terrible because you have to either sit there for several minutes downloading the CVS app and connect to the kiosk via pseudo Wi-Fi (it's really weird) or just do it by USB. If you do it by USB, you can't upload just the photos you want. You have to scroll through 100 or more of your photos ON THE KIOSK SCREEN. Who thought this was a good idea? I'm not scrolling through my camera roll in public. What was wrong with getting one of the workers to take a picture with a Kodak and print it out, like how it used to be? This is a case of automation gone totally wrong. Old geezer behind the counter ignored my mother until someone else came and took care of us. We had to pay almost 17 bucks for 2 little pictures. What kind of pricing is that? We had to do all the work ourselves! Just abysmal. read more

Absolute worst place to fill a prescription. Between the young pharmacy clerks who clearly do not want to be at work and the lack of good clinical judgement. The other day I used their drive through option where the young girl who looked lmk ike she was 16 was pleasant enough but clearly had other things in her mind. I confirmed that both medications were in stock as formulary as my doctor requested and clearly indicated on the one script that was available as a generic( the other med is available as only a formulary and is not the issue) and was asked when I would like to come pick them up. I said an hour or 2. She stayed that it was not a problem and they most likely would be filled in less time. 5 mins later I recieved a text that one of the meds " needed to be ordered" and that I would receive a call when it was available. By the next day I still haven't had any follow up call and went online to check I'd my scripts were filled. To my surprise they both were filled earlier that day. However I noticed that the one medication was filled as a generic. When I got to the pharmacy I asked the pharmacy tech why was the one med filled as generic when my doctor requested that it not be. I was told they didnt have it in stock!. I spoke to the pharmacist and reminded him when I dropped over both prescriptions rhe day before I was told they had both meds in stock and then was informed they didnt. I assumed you ordered the formulary as requested. I told him I want the script filled as written. I was then informed it would be a few more mins. I was then called back to the pharmacy and informed they only have it in standard release not XR He informed me he wouldnt have it until Saturday(which was three day away) I said can you call other pharmacies in the area. A few mins later he said the closest cvs was in Mt Laurel(30 minutes away) I told rhe pharmacist I want the script back and I will be bringing it across the street to Walgreens. I then realized I would be further inconvenienced if I brought the script to another pharmacy who may or may not have the medication in any form. I informed the pharmacist I would take the generic as I didn't want to spend any more time trying to understand the logic behind their decision making skills. So with all this said, I will not be filling any more prescriptions at this or any other CVS and instead will go back to Walgreens or even Wegmans for better service and more importantly greater clinical judgement. read more

Getting progressively worse... they send texts that meds are ready then when you get there they don't even have them. I listened to a pharmacy tech tell a customer that she shouldn't fill a prescription for her daughter than an MD prescribed because she didn't need it! I am unclear as to when pharmacy techs had more medical training than an MD! I hope the poor woman didn't take his advice! read more

The employees here have no concept of being polite or courteous to the customers who spend money in their store. At the risk of sounding like a know it all, this company should provide its employees some kind of training or orientation on how to deal with customers. They just hire anyone who's breathing and stick them behind the cash register. And the thing where you have to have a membership and fill out a form and carry a CVS card around in your wallet to get better prices is just unbelievably stupid. When you go to a nice restaurant and you take out your wallet to pay the check, the last thing you want everyone to see is your CVS discount card that gets you a better price on ibuprofen. Whoever dreamed up that concept should be sent away to Siberia for a long, long time. read more

This review is only for the Manager Arlene.... Everyone else that I have encountered in the 8+ years I have been going to this store have been extremely helpful and respectful. -- My husband was returning some items with a receipt. Arlene was called over by the cashier to verify the refund. While she was walking over she was shaking her head no for some reason. She glanced at the receipt saying she can't take one of the items back because the sealed, unopened box was "damaged." My husband explained he purchased the item yesterday and that is how he bought it. He also mentioned that he could show her that many of the same items were in "damaged" boxes. She kept straining her eyes looking at the receipt and shaking her head no so I mentioned that maybe you need to get your glasses to read the receipt because the item that was purchased the day before was clearly on the receipt. She looks up at us and says "I know how to read because I WAS BORN IN THIS COUNTRY!" I guess she assumed that we weren't born here. Side note-The cashier helping us actually said she wasn't born in this country. I guess she was surprised that her racist comment didn't sit well with me as I got very upset. She told us she would not return the items and she was calling the police. I told her to call them as I did not do anything wrong. While on the phone, she described us as "Spanish or Mexican or Indian .. I don't know".... Ultimately, She asked us not to return to the store, which is part of CVS policy that a manager can refuse service to anyone. My husband called CVS corporate at the time of the incident and we have not received a call back. That was over 10 hours ago. Why do I have to find another pharmacy because of a sad, racist woman????? I refuse to be treated like this and plan to tell my experience to as many outlets as possible. read more

I have been coming to this store for 14 years and counting and I have never encountered a negative issue - on the contrary, all staff including those in the Pharmacy have been helpful, polite, and professional. It is not easy to work with the public and I can't help but think of the adage, "you reap what you sow". read more
