I am uploading only photos of my home this time, per review guidelines. I self-contracted our home for the last 6 months and have knowledge on the subject as I was forced to have several roofers, contractors, and manufacturers inspect Alex's work. Our superintendent even got in touch with Alex's crew directly and they informed him that they knowingly used a bad batch of shingles because they were trying to dry in the home too quickly. It was also evident that the underlayment ice shield was not pulled tight as it should have been, which caused the ripple effect. I will not excuse the framers (as Alex points out) for their part, but the issue with shingles and ice shield were not because of framing. You can see in the images the issues caused by the framing and then you can clearly see rippling as well. The sheathing did not delaminate but did warp, and a good/responsible roofer would call that out instead of knowingly installing bad shingles on a roof you know will have issues. Perhaps Alex has been roofing longer under a different company... but his original license was issued in 2022. I prefer not to communicate this way but as Alex has not replied to a single text message or call, it seems this was the only option to get his attention.

Jake Bombard put together one of the most detailed reports and workups I received from any company. Every question I had was answered clearly without pressure or sales tactics. You could tell they genuinely cared about doing things the right way, not just getting another job. The installation itself exceeded my expectations. We had ridge vents installed, upgraded weather barriers beyond what some other companies even discussed, and chose a long-term, high-quality shingle that will honestly outlast me. The crew was incredibly professional, fast, respectful, and extremely picky about the quality of their work. You could see they cared about every detail and wanted it done right the first time. What also impressed me was the follow-through. A few days later, another person came out to inspect everything and officially sign off on the work, which gave me even more confidence in the company. I also appreciated having one of the owners personally involved. That level of accountability matters. From the office staff, to Jake, to the installers, to the final inspector, not one question ever went unanswered. Communication was outstanding the entire process. They kept the property clean, treated my home with respect, and delivered exactly what they promised. In today's world, it is hard to find companies that truly take pride in their work. BigHorn Roofing absolutely does. I have already recommended them to others, and I will continue to do so without hesitation.
