Impression: A apartment like hotel that has a modern urban young people feel that is 2 floors with a cold first floor, warm upper floor, HUGE towels, with lots and lots of charger ports, a fridge, kitchen etc. Pretty cool to live in, and the price ain't bad and it's close to all the GOOD food. That's the thing Liverpool is good for partying, pub crawls, and has the BEST food selection outta Manchester, Edinburgh, and other cities.
High Yield: An apartment like hotel with a cheap feeling concierge, but interestingly nicer cold urban kinda interior design apartment hotel rooms, good for extended stay and large groups of people traveling to party in this city, located near ALL the good stuff to see in this city
Concierge- idk, but first the concierge is located in a separate building of apartments, i mean like 2 streets down and it's kinda a walk if you got a lot of heavy suitcases. The lobby had a cheap economic feel, so I was dubious at first. Had that college dorm kinda feel. Friendly and very good service though. Our person helped carry our stuff to our rooms first night. You can also lock up your stuff in a room while you travel after check out to get later.
Rooms: LARGE TOWELS-- we talking beach towels, big and fluffy and if you wanna be eco friendly please please use the same one 2 nights in a row. Wasteful and luxurious. Bed on top floor is comfy and good- if you're afraid of cold, sleep upstairs right in front of the heater vent. If you like it cold, downstairs by the door. Bathrooms on the first floor. Shower has no door btw, modern urban thing I guess. comes with a body soap but no shampoo. Small little sink. Sucks for washing face but necessary. Kitchen is good but gets super cramped if you put down the sofa bed, then dining room becomes nonexistent. LOTS AND LOTS of ports for charging. Probs like 7-8 upstairs. Good for those who have a lot of stuff to charge like laptops, batteries, phones etc.
Verdict: Great hotel for those who wanna try the urban dwelling live in a hip city. Why they don't get the 5 stars is because rooms didn't feel too homey and the design was a little awkward at times, concierge was a little far from the rooms, and bathrooms were disproportional in amenities compared to their LARGE towels. So I guess my beef is more stylistic- luxurious on some ends and felt a little economic/cheap on the other end, 2 extremes in one place. Otherwise, a nice place to live. read more
