I had the same thought before. But after living here more than a year I realized the Media Markt in different location, they all have different prices for the same thing. usually cost more to shop online than the local shop. It's really system for me as well, but it is what it is. In my experience so far, I found this Media Markt (which is in Alexanderplatz) is cheaper than others, also cheaper than in Saturn. Well, of course not everything. Some stuff I did find that is Cheaper in others. (Saturn have the same wired system like Media Markt, no idea why...) It's really depend on what you try to get there. but for sure that these two electronic mall in Alexanderplatz is the cheapest place so far I found. Usually I will go both of them, just to check out the price of the thing I want first, and then check their price online, sometime online is cheaper, if it does, you can show it the service there, they are really friendly and will love the help. they will get the price of the product correct before you pay for it. I do like to shop here is not only they have lots of different options, but also their services. That's one of the other main reason why I like this place much than others.

Although I have been to the Park Center a handful of times, I only recently realized that there was…read morea Saturn housed there. This revelation changed my life, because I no longer have to trek all the way to Alexanderplatz (previously the site of the only Saturn I knew about) whenever I need something. This store is much smaller than the aforementioned Mitte location, and although that means there is less, I don't mind. This is namely because the Mitte one is a gazillion stories high (OK, maybe three or four) and I get SO lost (similar to any time I visit a Fry's in the states). There are also less people overall, which makes the shopping experience more of an enjoyable one and less of a sensory overload. The employees are nice and much more personable too! Additionally, even though the stock is smaller, the store still seems to carry all the essentials. Saturn prices are also pretty good, compared to, say, Conrad. Overall, I think having this store located here gives the Park Center that much more pull (although maybe that isn't saying much). So yeah, I dig it.
