The Med Spa provides the best facials I have ever received! I moved to NC from FL and have been to…read moremultiple spas across FL and The Med Spa is above and beyond as far as facials! Sierra is my favorite. She is kind and personable and makes you feel so relaxed. I love the hydrafacial and dermaplaning. I can't wait to try more but those are my go-to's!

At first, I was really excited about my laser hair removal treatment for my chin here. So I showed…read moreup for my consultation. The lady at the front desk is consistently rude. But that's okay, because I'm not really here to deal with her. I had a Groupon for three sessions, but they told me that my first session was half off, so I decided to save it for the full priced sessions. Firstly, for all my sessions, I was made to wait longer than necessary. For the first session, they needed a doctor to come in and assess me first, but I was made to wait for her forever! Once she arrived, all she did was asked me if I had any allergies, and then signed a sheet of paper and left. Really? You made me wait 20 minutes for that? These guys seem to have no regard to clients' time. Anyway, my first session was great! It was with Darryl (Darren?) -- it's the only guy that works there so you'll know. He was amazing! I loved him so much! After he treated my chin, my hair didn't start regrowing until the fifth week -- just like he said it would, My second session was okay, but I don't think she did a good job with the laser. My hair was gone, for the moment, but regular strands started growing only on the right half of my chin in 2 weeks! That's not good. The left half is still okay, and it has been almost 4 weeks. But if only one part of my chin hairs are growing earlier than they should, something wasn't done right. The real turn off came when the rude lady at the front desk told me I couldn't use my Groupon because it was "only for new customers." Aren't I still a new customer? This is my first treatment, just the second session of an ongoing treatment. And if only first time customers can use Groupons, then why do they allow people to buy more than one for themselves? The Groupons after the first one will be invalid then because they would not longer be first time customers. What a scam! I'll be continuing my treatment elsewhere at another time. For now, I'll go back to epilating and shaving. In the meantime I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. Laser hair removal treatments can get pretty expensive, so if you are spending that much, better find a place that will do a good job of customer service.

1 star Very…read moredisappointing experience. I paid $100 to hold a consultation and spent nearly an hour with Dr. Castillo, who verbally told me treatments would be around $500. I never received a treatment plan until I called twice. When I finally got it, it didn't clearly state the treatment, and I had to call again just to understand what was being done and the cost. The actual price? About $1,210 per treatment--not $500. Then I was told it's an additional 20% if I want Dr. Castillo to perform the procedure. Otherwise, a nurse does it. This was never explained upfront. That 20% "physician fee" is buried in fine print, while less important charges are clearly highlighted. When I asked for my $100 back, they refused and told me I could use it toward a product. After this experience, I have no interest in anything they offer. They kept my $100 despite unclear pricing, poor communication, and misleading expectations

First I will say that the staff is friendly and the facilities are nice. But…read more.. 1) Not the results that were expected as compared to what was conveyed w/ Botox over the eyes. 2) I received a rough estimate ($700) over the phone for a treatment, which vastly differed from reality ($2,100). This was blamed on the person that took the call for an appointment. She apparently was not the right person to provide the pricing. 3) I moved ahead with the treatment that I outlined in #2 as it was conveyed that the results would be great and would last a few years. At my follow-up appointment it was conveyed that the results would last a few months, sometimes up to a year. 4) At follow-up appointment I expected a touch-up as was conveyed in the appointment reminder. No touch-up was performed. Apparently there was an error with their new software platform that conveyed the is. In summary, ~$2,200 spent. In hindsight I wish I hadn't trusted the sales pitches especially after all of the communication snafus.
