Yogi Union took over the former AM Yoga space and I was curious about checking it out. They offer…read moresix types of yoga and some meditation. They even have qigong, which is something I would love to learn about. I noticed that one of my favorite yoga teachers was teaching here so I signed up right away. Amber led a 60 minute slow flow class, with longer held poses set to some soft music. It was a great class and I left feeling energized and refreshed. There were plenty of props available for class, including blocks, blankets, and straps. The class was heated but not a true "hot" yoga class (although I got pretty sweaty). The studio is large and has its own parking lot, which is really nice. I looked at pricing for memberships and class packs and many items are listed as early bird pricing, so I'm not sure how long those prices are good (they just opened within the past month). I like the idea of a 4 classes per month membership, and at $60/month it's pretty reasonable. Again I am not sure when those prices might increase. I'm looking forward to trying more of the different yoga styles - they feature power yoga, dance power yoga flow, slow burn, gentle flow, bedtime flow, and rest+restore. I do wish the website had easier to find descriptions of each of the class types.
