The girls at Envy Merced are always so welcoming and helpful! I've shopped at all stores and Merced is my favorite

Stopped by here on our way home to San Diego. I was dressed in my driving clothes...you know...comfortable for our 8hr drive. Lol Anyways, we made a stop at Starbuck's for coffee and to gas up next door when we saw a sign for children's Hunter Rainboots on sale, posted out front. I decided to walk inside and check it out while hubby got us coffee and the kids food. I guess I was expecting friendly service since the majority of the items were on the higher end. But as soon as I walked in, the two little girls working there intentionally ignored me even though I made eye contact. Neither one of them asked if I needed help and made themselves busy with the ONE white customer. I'm not stupid, I know when someone is being racist. So I walked out and took my money elsewhere. I mean c'mon...it's a wannabe high end clothing store situated in a strip mall between Starbucks and a gas station (pssshhh) I can get the same items, if not better and for less at Bloomingdale's or Nordstrom since I'm a preferred customer. I have been a customer since they opened in the atwater location I am Hispanic and have always been treated nicely ... I have seen other Hispanics working there as well and I have never had a bad experience .. First off its very small and for the 3 employees not to greet me made me feel very uncomfortable. I felt like if I was a nuisance and not a potential paying customer. The employees are much more interested with stocking the store and not interested in customer service. I'm from Fresno and new to Merced this mediocre business gives Merced a terrible rep. Stay away if you want to enjoy your shopping trip and feel comfortable while spending your hard earned money. read more

I love this boutique!! Always a good experience. The staff is always friendly and help me in selecting just the right outfit I was looking for. I swear, these girls should be styling the stars on the red carpet. They are talented!!! read more

Only reason why it has one star is because I had to rate it, to post. Service was awful, the employee did not greet us, did not ask us if we needed help.! She was so busy looking at her self in the mirror to help another customer trying to reach a short on the top shelf. She did not even say have a good day no good customer service! I will not be going again! read more

I think this place has clothing that are not good quality. Look and feel like things you can find at the flea market. Way overpriced. Jeans and Quad sun glasses are only things I purchase there. Other than that you can find better quality clothing at better prices sons where else. read more

Insensitive employees, came out of em-tea and unfortunately they were parked blocking the wheelchair access to the buildings while loading their SUV. Makes for less hassle for them if they park there but what happens if i who am in a wheelchair has to flee the premises in an emergency situation ?! A cute little clothing shop next to Raleys, that is actually bigger inside than it looks from the outside. I stopped in today but didn't buy anything yet as I didn't have much time. Was kindly greeted when I walked in and asked if I needed anything, so that was nice because she wasn't overbearing or anything. I said I was just browsing. A few minutes into my browse sesh, one of the employees told me about the sale this week. I noticed that they have designer jeans here, I saw 7 and Joe's brands. They have some really cute feminine tops, as well as men's clothing (I told my hubby to stop by and check it out) and kids clothing too. And the employees are very attentive but not annoyingly so. I have NEVER once had a bad experience here! They greet me, ask if I need anything. Give me honest opinions on how things fit, even if it mean going up a size! They even remembered when I was sick and asked me how I was! I do not know any of the ladies personally and I only go maybe twice a month and I do not live in Merced. So for these ladies to take a personal interest in my well being makes a huge difference! I will always support this small business! Great job ladies!!!! read more

I had a great experience yesterday at this store. I went in looking for some new flip flops but didn't see any I liked-I ended up with a great deal on a gorgeous maxi skirt! I'm totally happy with that. The merchandise isn't as varied as Atwater but there were still good deals with the sale rack. The sales girl was friendly too. Overall, a great experience. read more

I have shopped at this store since it first opened in Atwater and i have always had excellent service. The young lady that manages the store in Merced is always very helpful and even went out of her way to check other local stores to see if they had other sizes of what i was looking for.
