Polite and helpful cashiers, clean store and I love kohls cash. It's very convenient and close to home as well.

The store is a mess period!! Went shopping to get shoes and all your shoes are not correctly put away right and half of them don't have prices on them and seriously you need someone to fix your whole shoe section that shoes are not correctly put away right in the wrong displays up where the other shoes are and I have worked at Kohls in the past and I can tell you guys should not train your employees the right way read more

I was given an Amazon return receipt with bottom Tracking ID torn off. Not readable. This will be the last time I use Kohls Merced, CA to return defective items to Amazon. There should be a tall sign saying Amazon Returns so customer doesn't wait in wrong line! read more

Overpriced at best. However I do enjoy the Amazon drop off. Had they not fixed prices back in 2009 and got caught I'd still be a customer.

Needed pink shirts to wear to work so I stopped at Kohl's to see what they had. I found two shirts in my size right away. One with long sleeves and one tee shirt. And score! Both were on sale! The selection is so-so. Customer service is okay. Prices are fair when items are on sale and there are coupons available. Returns policy is lenient. I visited on Tuesday, June 13th around 11:45am. The clearance racks I perused were a complete mess and the trash bin outside the Olive Avenue entrance was overflowing terribly (pics posted). read more

I bought a pair of Vera Wang's women's summer pajamas they fit great took them home removed the tags washed them etc. I went to wear them & noticed there was a hole in the hemline on the shorts I didn't keep the receipt and when I went to Kohls to return them to see if I get store Credit or something. They told me that I had returned too many items and I was only eligible for a corporate refund in which they mail you a check in the mail but the weird thing is &?you guys are gonna love this I rarely if ever shop at Kohls and for the most part I'm one of these people that keeps receipts and I always have the receipt when I do a return. I wonder what exactly is going on this is kind of shady. I'm not going be shopping here anymore because this is just giving me a very bad feeling. Is someone using my information to return things for cash? They couldn't answer my questions. read more

Unfortunately when my son opened gift he found the security tag still on the jeans so back I go again. Cashier Lorie was rude beyond measure. She was unpleasant, and did not help me with my situation when asked by another Cashier to assist. She did not even want to glance at the coupons I had, she stated "nope cant use them", and walked away. I have spent plenty money in this store, and we were doing ALL our back to school shopping here, but ended up leaving after her non assist. If you are in sales, you should have the right attitude. If you don't like your job, then find what pleases you in life, because it shows! I have had GREAT help from this store in the past, and yesterdays visit was a HUGE disappointment for me. read more

I like Kohl's.... reading the bad reviews is unfortunate and I hope they stay on top of their employees being that most Are Young and inexperienced some are just simply not people persons. But it's a great store with great deals lots of sales. read more

Horrible customer service! A lady at returns was giving off bad attitude as if the money given back was out of her pocket.

Kohls has finally gone to far and has turned into every other business out to screw the people who keep them in business. Kohls cash is no longer accepted after the expiration date. Kohls has always honored the kohls cash after the expiration dates but not any longer. I purchased over $200 in merchandise thinking I would be able to use the cash. Nope. So I'm sitting in my car trying to accept this crap. Nope gonna go back in and return stuff and go to target instead. read more

This Kohls definitely has some opportunities for customer service training. A pet peeve of mine happened to me yesterday. Cashiers... If you're about to go home, go on a break etc... Wait for a break in customers. I was in line behind someone opening a credit account (taking forever), and the cashier next to the line I was in finally was freed up. I approached the counter and she said'oh sorry I'm off' she proceeded to flirt with the manager the entire time I waited. The manager really should have waited on me. Also, I went to ask about a certain shoe's availability a few months back, the cashier while nice had no idea how to get the info I needed. She was alone in the department. Why would you leave an under trained employee alone like that? The store is also beginning to look like Mervyns used to (messy). There's hardly anywhere else to shop in Merced - just wish management and training would improve. read more

Went clothes shopping here. The lady working the counter was very nice until she started goofing off with the guy at the counter behind her. We found some clothes that we liked and got them at decent prices. It was clean. We will be returning. read more
