The Envue is in a waterfront location, with great views of NYC skyline. Modern decor. Main lobby had an open layout, with large windows so can enjoy the view. Too much reflection when taking photos of NYC at night though. Better to walk outside by the Port Imperial ferry terminal, and along the riverfront walkway. Complimentary water bottles upon check-in. Were informed that Breakfast is available for a fee. Rooms are small. King-sized room had a sizeable bathroom with double sink. The double room was much tighter, with regular bathroom size. Modern fixtures; nice coffee maker; mini-fridge wasn't cold and kept tilting forward. There is a gym and pool but didn't get to check them out. We didn't bring stuff since we thought we just had time for sleeping, but pleasantly surprised when we got late check-out at 2pm. Daily parking fee (ticket said pay at a pay-station before retrieving car but after looking around and finally asking at the lobby, can just pay right before exiting.) Overall a nice quiet hotel with an accommodating front desk staff! I was a bit taken aback by the following: No bar soap upon arrival, available next day! No additional blanket in the closet - had to ask! No hook for the ironing board or iron in the closet. The toilet was not fully scrubbed around the bowl - saw old streaks of urine coming down the front of the bowl. The toilet seat looked cloudy, not as clean as it could/should be. Lower half of bathroom wall had stains and needed a scrub! But the hot shower and flow was ideal! I'd return as the stay was convenient for a NYC Christmas! read more

This hotel was FABULOUS... Stayed the night while in Jersey. I had a room with a great view of the Hudson and New York! You could see Brooklyn on down to Central Park. Unbelievable view. Had drinks on floor 6... awful music I had to take my drink back up to my scenic view lol. Took my meetings in my room the next day. Nespresso coffee maker in room. Huge bathroom! I really enjoyed my stay. Parking is around the corner in the deck BUT it's literally connected to the hotel so you don't have to walk outside. I will stay here again. Highly recommend! read more

The front desk was very nice pond arriving. The front lobby was clean and open, my room is also very clean when I came in. The cons might just be because of me, but the square toilet was a bit weird. There were two buttons on the top, but I did not know which one to use for which I was doing. The parking garage has five levels. The fifth level usually had nobody on it. It is not a come and go. So if you plan on taking your car in and out, you will need to pay every single time you leave. Unfortunately, it cost me quite a bit of money coming and going a few times during a few days down there. The price was very reasonable for the area. You walk out the front door hop on the ferry and you're over in New York City in no time. read more

This was the preferred hotel for my friend's wedding in Hoboken. Hotel was in a great location with gorgeous views of the NYC skyline. Checkin was easy, and they even let me switch my room from 2 queens to the cheaper 1 king available. Room was very nice and spacious, comfy bed, awesome coffee maker. When I settled into my room that Friday evening around 10:30pm there was music ABSOLUTELY BLASTING! It was SO LOUD that my room was shaking. I couldn't figure out where it was coming from but I went out to the hallway and it got even louder, so I assumed someone was having a party in a hotel room. I finally called the front desk to see what was going on and they said it was not a room party but a party at the hotel and that it was ending at 11pm. That was just a half hour away so I thought no big deal and thanked them. By 11:15pm the music and bass were still going loud as hell. I called the front desk again. They then told me the party went until midnight. That's odd, I said - as the previous person told me 11pm. This person very rudely responded to me that that person was wrong and it goes until 12am. I basically said something to the effect of - well so what everyone in the hotel is not allowed to sleep until 12am? This is unacceptable. His response was - "we are a hotel and we throw parties in this hotel, deal with it" and he hung up. I was shocked as wouldn't a hotel's main focus be for a place to sleep?? I read reviews after this experience and saw this is a known issue with this place. I hadn't looked beforehand because it was the main hotel to stay in for the wedding. But yeah at 12am, the music was turned off and I was finally able to go to sleep. Throughout the wedding weekend, I chatted to some of the other guests who had the exact same issue. One of them ended up talking to the manager on duty and got some $$ taken off the room, and suggested I do the same. So upon Sunday morning checkout, I asked for the manager on duty and they said there wasn't one. You literally have NO manager in the hotel right now? Nope. So I explained my issue and the receptionist I was talking to was the one that initially told me 11pm, so he remembered me. He did end up giving me $100 off my stay as that was all he could give without management approval - so better than nothing, I guess. If you want a place to actually get some sleep, do not stay here. I paid around $800 for 2-night's stay and if I'm paying that much money, I definitely want to actually be able to sleep. Sucks because the hotel itself is great but they certainly do not give a poo about their guests. read more

Disappointed with this Marriott Hotel. The room they gave us was awful. The bed spring was broken, the sink was ripping out of the wall and the paint is peeling. The room vent had a rattling noise. It's very strange that Marriott would call this an "autograph collection" hotel. The service was more or less not caring. The only good thing was the restaurant. Honestly this hotel makes me question why have loyalty to the Bonvoy program and switch to Hilton. I did address my concern and they apologized, but doesn't really remedy the situation. The room I stayed in was 747. Don't stay here if they assign it, ask for a different room. This hotel was an embarrassment to Marriot brand. This a Marriot boutique hotel. It is a small hotel. But it's more like red roof. No water pressure and the worst shower ever. I was a narrow wand I washed my hair and it took 15 minutes to get soap. The beds were good. The spacer was too small for all the furniture.I was there 5days and didn't clean my room twice. Fancy coffee machine. Once you used them they refill no water for the machine. You had to get it at front desk Breakfast forget it we waited 20 mins. For actually my eggs can before my coffee it cost $6 a cup .#2 worst thing was the parking pay as you go. The thing was it took a least 15 minutes for the gthe gate to lets outless us out. The location is right next to the midtown. Ferry that was the best part of us day. read more

We found this hotel on the Bonvoy app because we were looking for a place to stay for our anniversary weekend. Usually we stay in the city but prices were so expensive. This hotel was perfect because of its location. It is literally steps from the Port Imperial ferry and then 9 mins to Manhattan. We got upgraded to a room with a view because we told them we were celebrating our anniversary. The hotel is very nicely decorated and our room was nice. Modern and very tasteful. Affordable modern hotel near NYC across from the ferry terminal, however terrible customer service. Stayed here one night as it's more affordable then being in the city yet still fairly convenient. Located about 30 min from Newark airport (without traffic), it's not too hard to get to. Arriving at the hotel, there's a small unstaffed arrival area with a lobby on the 4th floor or so. Check in and shop is fairly small, but the bar / lobby area offers superb views of the city, especially at night. The check in process was one of the worst I've ever seen. Book a room for 2 people, you would think you get 2 keys. Front desk agent said he only had enough for 1 key. And if I lost the key, I would have to wait 30 min everytime for a security guard to escort me up to my room because they can't make more keys! This isn't a motel 6... and the front desk agent had serious attitude as well. Not to mention no upgrade for a lifetime titanium elite when the hotel wasn't even full. Just one of the worst Marriott experiences I've ever had - no one from management even reached out to try to rectify. Otherwise, the room is nice enough. Modern, clean, quiet (you're not downtown so no sirens throughout the night). Bathroom was spacious enough, wifi worked well, so otherwise stay was good. Food at the restaurant was decent, wouldn't go there specifically for the food (the view yes). read more

I had a Marriott anniversary night to use and wanting something special. We were traveling for not the best of reasons and I needed a change of pace, not a typical off the highway type of Courtyard etc. In steps Envue, which did not disappoint in any sort of way. Sure, the shower gel was empty but they had a replacement within minutes at the door. Everything from the professional gentleman who checked us in, to teaching me how to quickly use the card in the elevator, on down to the gorgeous views both inside the lobby as well as the outdoor deck, this place is impeccable and you don't need to pay Manhattan prices for luxury. We did not end up with the view room because those with two beds are all on the opposite side, which was fine and I understand. Even so, if I wanted to see the city, I could easily head on down to the bar area and front desk. The room itself is fairly spacious for NYC area, beautiful accent lighting above the beds. It also came with a safe and small fridge. The infinity pool was immaculate and looked to be rarely used. I felt kind of bad at first bringing my two young kids but since nobody was using things like this, they had a blast with just their parents and nobody else. Parking was easy and fairly cheap at $22 right around the corner for a full day. The ferry service to Manhattan literally across the street is an added bonus for those that want to get into the city quickly. I can't recommend this place enough and hope I have a room credit again in the future to do a little more exploring of the area. read more

When I was checking in, I asked a question because it was my first time becoming a Titanium Elite member. I asked whether being a Titanium member could replace the need for an authorization form. The staff member named Chris knocked on the desk with his hand and said, "We need the form," repeatedly, saying "form, form," and eventually even shouting. When I handed the authorization form to him, he didn't tell me anything about parking, whether breakfast was included, or where to find breakfast. Loved our stay here. We took the 8 minute ferry in from NYC (39th street) and it was a perfect mini staycation and escape from the hustle and bustle of Manhattan. The views are wonderful. Beautiful hotel. Rooftop restaurant is good. Great service. Try to get the continental breakfast. For now it is 7a-10a. Pretty good selection to choose from - toast, eggs, ham, fruit etc. When we called the front desk they were always friendly and responsive. If you have small children, there is a small park nearby with swings and a slide. No room service but there is a Dunkin' Donuts next door if you want to get some water and a few snacks to stash in the room. We totally forgot about the pool and gym on the 7th floor but will check it out next time. We will be back Envue! read more

Hidden gem!!!! Love NYC attractions and food, but not so much the parking and navigation - This is a must do. Located in Weehawken, NJ on the Jersey shore adjacent to the ferry terminal. The facility is modern, updated and well kept. The rooms are fabulous, but to truly understand the value of the location, YOU MUST GET A ROOM WITH A NY City skyline Hudson River view. There is an outdoor deck with AstroTurf, seating and igloos to cut the cold wind when eating and drinking. Haven't tried the restaurant yet, but the staff (Denae) is very attentive and housekeeping is top notch. read more

This place is fantastic. The customer service here is outstanding from the minute you enter the building until you leave. I can't remember a time when I've gone somewhere and there's been so many great people greeting you and being helpful. Other restaurants and retailers should come visit here and take note of what customer service is all about and how it should look 24 seven. The view is amazing and the rooftop bar has a spectacular garden where they do yoga on Saturday morning. Comfortable seating lots of room. They have DJs at night on the weekend for entertainment. Have a great happy hour with specials on small plates along with cocktails, beer and wine. Go visit Envue soon, I highly recommend this place in Weehawken. Is a beautiful hotel, in a fantastic location however they have thieves as part of their staff. We got repeatedly robbed and so far nothing has been done to restore the experience. If you stay there keep everything in your luggage Locked!!! or they will rob you! This should not happen in such expensive hotel. I hope they take this complaint seriously because there is nothing more uncomfortable and unpleasant than being abused, that's what being robbed means. Is an abuse of people. read more

Stayed here 2x. First time 5star all around just after it opened. The lobby view is the best you will find and decor was modern with a 5 star hotel feel. Room was modern and nice upgrade to the NYC view room. For sure worth the cost. Second time the hotel its-self still nice but the service dropped dramatically. Check in wasn't efficient try to give me a basic room when I booked the city view room. The quality of the overall staff went down dramatically. I had a reservation at the patio restaurant for myself in a few business associates for drinks and appetizers. The hostess tried to tell us we didn't have a reservation until I got a manager. It was a parent by seeing what was going on. The staff were letting their friends in and letting them party while letting others wait. They put us all the way in the back at a high top and we're letting their friends come in and take the Direct city view tables And igloo VIP areas. Appetizers were taking so long that we just canceled after two drinks jumping a Cab went to Hoboken for dinner. Hopefully they improve the service because you can't beat the Hotels location with the ferry downstairs. You can get anywhere in New York City in 15 minutes. I almost feels faster than staying in the city itself to do things in the city. Also, the neighborhood is pleasant, quiet and residential, and there's quite a few very good restaurants locally to go to there with a more chill vibe. read more

First of all take the water taxi to get here from midtown! It's so easy and convenient and you won't get ripped off from a taxi or Uber. (19.00 round trip) Great location great property and a million dollar view of the city. I was lucky enough to also have breakfast at their rooftop restaurant and it was also amazing. Friendly staff great prices and an all around great experience. The rooms are modern and nice..I felt the beds were to stiff for my liking and no bottle water anywhere. They do have two water refill stations in the gym. They have a great pool and nice amenities. read more

Hey you guyssssss let's get right into it!!! This hotel is a total package, the parking is simple, there is a garage attached or if you're lucky you will find street parking either way works! The lobby is a whole vibe, the views are gorgeous of the Hudson and NY skyline. The bartender Wanthy was AMAZING, personable, professional and attentive not to mention his mixology skills are a 10 out of 10. We had great conversation, he gave us some local suggestions of things to see and do. Make sure you ask for him when you go! The hotel itself is impeccable, the rooms are top notch. The carpet was stained, the shower was leaking and the lobby and elevator are not secure at all. Anyone can walk in at anytime not just into the lobby but on to any floor also. I did not have a very good experience here. The best part about this hotel is the great view of NYC, that's about it. Where do I begin? Ok, first of all, my room was cold all the time. It was freezing outside, and I could not get the room to be nice and warm like I like it. I had the heat cranked up all the way. The thermostat only goes up to 78, and it was so cold outside, the room always felt cold anyway, so I was forced to use the hairdryer to try to warm up the room! There was NO hot water! That's right, no hot water at all from the shower or the sink, ever! Only warm water. So, you can never take an actual hot shower. Only a warm shower. After a long day of traveling I like to take a hot bath or hit the jacuzzi. Well this hotel not only did NOT have hot water or a Jacuzzi, they don't even have bathtubs!! Just a shower stall that lightly trickles out warm water. WTF! They try to make this hotel seem classy, but it seems they are trying to cut corners to save money at every turn. And everything is expensive to top it off! They make you pay for wi-fi and parking, the breakfast buffet was $26! And $17 for a hamburger at the only restaurant in the hotel! They put a lot of attention on making this place seem modern and hip, but at the expense of comfort and convenience. The pillows and chairs were hard and uncomfortable. It's difficult to figure out the controls etc. for the lights, phone, elevators, TV etc. No signage for virtually anything! No signs that tell you where the pool is, or that they even have a pool, where the restaurant is, or almost anything. You are forced to ask or figure it out for yourself. Sometimes I don't want to watch TV when I'm on vacation. So I did not turn on my TV til my last day. Come to find out the TV was the only place you could find some info about the hotel and the facilities, but still not that much. There is virtually nothing around the hotel within a short walking distance, so it's not a very convenient area. There was something wrong with the hotel wi-fi, I could not get it to work. My phone reception was spotty in that area. And I asked for a wake up call for a very important event I had in the morning, and they NEVER called me! Luckily, based on everything else I experienced, I set a back-up alarm just in case. Thank God! Oh yeah, I hope you like the "color" gray. I've never seen so much gray in one place in my life! I would try to stay somewhere else if I ever come back to this area. read more

This place is perfect. I stayed here 10/24-10/27 and I wish I didn't have to go. The perfect location, amazing staff and the amenities are top notch. I chose to stay here after staying in NYC for past trips to NY and it's always so busy, cramped with views of other buildings. Staying at Envue allowed me the peace I wanted with a breathtaking view of the NY skyline right outside the hotel. Speaking of, literally across the street if the ferry that will take you into Midtown, Manhattan. It was $9 each way and I took it into the city my entire trip. I had a deluxe king guest room with a view of the courtyard which isn't bad at all. The lobby/check-in space is on the 6th floor and my room was on the 8th floor so that was convenient for me if I needed anything. Upon check-in they provide you with a mini hot towel for your face/hands for your comfort after traveling.There were no face/wash towels in my bathroom upon arrival but it was no big deal, I called guest services and towels were brought right away. One morning, I wanted to doctor a cough I had from being in Orlando the previous week (so 80+ degree weather to 50s and below) and ordered room service, some tortilla soup and a peppermint tea. It was delicious. Delivery was quick and everything was so organized and packaged perfectly. They really do pay attention to detail. The staff is always smiling and accommodating, even housekeeping, whether you're in the room or not. I can think of anything else I should address, as everything was perfect and I'll sure visit again and very soon. I'd like to shoutout Joe, the front desk agent that assisted me during my check-in.
