I ultimately filed a complaint against them, in which we were advised to include the owner of the home we applied for. The owner ended up removing his home completely off the market because of it and never found a renter. Though the complaint lead to no relief being granted, the point was to speak up or companies like this will continue to think they can operate business in this manner. Fortunately, it worked out for my greater good in the end as I decided to buy outright, was immediately approved by 4 mortgage lenders, and ended up purchasing a home worth more than the rental property they "denied" me for.

She also provides the service of checking out the property before hand and fixing it up if it needs repairs prior to being rented. Due to medical reasons (brain injury), I did not respond. On March 17, they emailed me to say if I didn't deposit $4600 to cover the work, they'd do it and stop forwarding rent payment. So I sent the funds and approval. Since then, no work has been done. I've asked repeatedly when it would start, with no response. RW kept telling me how urgent the work was - but once they got my money, suddenly the urgency is gone. I am talking to my real estate attorney about this today (4/13). If the tenant is injured due to work RW didn't do despite being required to by contract, that liability is with RW. Last Year RW was bought by a Japanese real estate company. Don't know if that's why their service is so poor, but not surprising.

Once all parties were decided upon, the process moved along quickly and easily, we closed in just over 30 days. I received an email from Todd the day after we closed Congratulating me and explaining that I would be receiving a refund of my security deposit and the overage of rental payments. Everyone at GTL was always professional, respectful and extremely pleasant and friendly. I would recommend them, especially to serious, long term renters. The parking is the Worst part, (1) one part is on the street, next to mail boxes, blocking postal deliveries and (2) second part is on side of the unit where when it rain, it's Very likely a person's car will get stuck in the muddy yard. (3) when exiting vehicle, very little room between car door and the awful brushes from the bushes that look rodent infested,on the side of the apartment. (4) parking space so small, it'd Really be difficult to have 2 cars or visitors would have Nowhere to park!! **I can't say this a bad company, can't say nothing negative about apartment. But that parking and those bushes,, they need to remove bushes and cement parking spaces for the tenant.
