He explained what was going on as well as the solution. He did not make it feel like he was rushing through anything. The inspection was free and we will definitely have him come back to replace the Unit.

My home warranty company outsourced them for a service request I submitted for a water heater tank that was leaking in my home. They arrive within an acceptable time frame, given the short notice, immediately diagnosed the issue and contacted the warranty company on the spot to update and confirm permission to proceed. My entire water tank had to be replaced, and since it was technically out of code, they made sure to get the new one installed properly according to code by placing it on a stand as required for garages. I did have to come out of pocket for the stand and the expansion tank, but the warranty covered the cost of the tank itself and his labor. The company is a family owned business, vetern owned and operated and he was very professional, informative, and polite. He let me know whag time he could be there, called to inform me of any delays and arrived promptly according to his word. He and his assistant got everything done very quickly given the circumstances. My garage was very cluttered and the new tank didnt fit in the same spot without me cutting my work bench and he patiently waited for me as I moved things out of the way and cut the work bench so he could place it in the same spot as the old one. Throughout the entire process he explained protocols, his background, answered any questions i had and made good conversation. I am very happy with my new water heater and it looks very neat and professional and these two men did an amazing job and were in great spirits the entire time. It was a pleasant experience and i have tbe utmost confidence that this job was done efficiently and i will not have any further issues!

I decided to give Humphrey a call despite the reviews, and I am beyond impressed! When I called to inquire about service, the techs arrived in less than 20 minutes at my door. The customer service agent was kind, clear, and helpful. The techs were mindful of our home as it was pouring rain outside, and they wanted to ensure they didn't track all the extra water and dirt from outside. Which was greatly appreciated and just an additional plus to their service! They troubleshooted everything, found the issue, and addressed it immediately. They explained everything they were doing and took pictures and videos, which are all documented in our home's file with their company for reference at a later date. The issue was resolved, and we appreciated their quick response to our urgent need. We will be using them again and will recommend them to friends and family.

I purchased the Goodman heat pump (model #GSZ140301) and air handler (model ASPT37B14) with the Asure ten year parts and labor warranty from antonelli Comfort Solutions. It was installed September 24, 2021 by antonelli's employees (Shannon and a helper) but the heat pump has never operated correctly since the day it was installed. When the unit was installed it wasn't cooling properly so I called their office and antonelli came to check it. He said the unit was low on refrigerant but it was on the other truck and he would send Shannon by. When Shannon checked it he said he couldn't get a reading on the low pressure side. I'm not sure what Shannon did but the unit cooled better but it wasn't long before we needed heat. The unit wasn't heating the house so called antonelli's office again and they sent Shannon back to check it. Shannon said he had failed to connect a wire and that's why the unit wasn't heating.. I don't know for a fact what he did but we got through the winter. Summer of 2022 the heat pump cooled very poorly but I couldn't get antonelli to return my numerous calls or send someone to check it. The 10 year warranty requires an annual inspection of the unit so I was able to antonelli to do that on September 16, 2022. antonelli told me the unit was a half pound low of refrigerant so he said he added that amount. He was at my house a total twenty minutes so obviously he didn't do much of an inspection! In July 2023 the unit was cooling very poorly again so after numerous calls antonelli came to check the heat pump on August 10th. He said the unit was a pound and a half low of refrigerant so he said he added that amount. The next day I received a bill from antonelli in the amount of $101.41 for the service call. I wrote antonelli on August 12th to dispute the charge because I have the ten year parts/labor warranty and for a new heat pump to be low on refrigerate twice in 22 months had to either be a problem with the equipment or the installation. antonelli never responded to my letter. I called his office seven times leaving messages with his office worker (Melissa) and on his voicemail but he never called me back. (About two weeks after I posted this review antonelli unexpectedly sent me a refund check for $101.40. Written a the refund check was "refund for check #**** customer has labor & parts warranty). While I'm glad I finally got my money back it does beg the questions why did he charge me to start with? and why didn't he reply to my letter disputing the charge?) I literally spent months trying to find another HVAC company that would except the warranty. When I finally found one I immediately cut alllll ties with antonelli. When telling someone of the problem I was having with antonelli they said "well maybe he's really busy" to which I replied he made time to cash my seven thousanddddd dollar check by God he should made time to call me back!" It's reprehensible that antonelli didn't respond to my letter, my numerous phone calls or correct the problems with the brand new heat pump/air handler I paid him for, so yes he's the worst person I've done business with in the past 29 years!!

All the pipes are inside a wall and insulated. That said, James and Michael responded within 24 hours which is a rarity in this area and I really appreciated the promptness. The remedy was a surprise at $600 and the service charge of $96 was even more of a surprise. In short, I wanted to give it some thought. I'm also a strong believer in a second opinion although it's hard to compare "apples to apples." Although a good friend recommended Boot's I had not used them before and perhaps the trust issue was a factor although I had no reason to not trust their opinion of the remedy. Quite coincidentally, a plumber I've known for 25 years was in the neighborhood and stopped by that same day. He fixed the issue, albeit temporary in all likelihood and had the shower running in minutes by simply placing the pipe back in position. Used the shower that evening without incident. In closing, I can't say anything negative nor would I, because they really didn't do anything. I guess my biggest beef is the service charge and uncertainty of what spending $600 would do to eliminate or dramatically reduce the issue. Danny Shell Emerald Isle, NC 28594
