When we spoke to one of the employees on site, they first denied the incident. Once we informed him that we observed the incident on camera he admitted it but was apprehensive and dismissive about it. During the conversation he said he would replace the marker post with in a week, and he did not follow through on replacing it. The employees of White N Green have no respect for neighbors property and are obviously not to be trusted to follow through on their words!

I took a pair of brand new white dress pants to get it fix so it can fit me right, and who knows how, but they were able to waste my pants with blue ink at a point of no recovery, Why would they use ink? just they know!!! they were not just careless but extremely rude as they just said it was a mistake and mistakes happen, it took me more than 2 weeks to the value of my pants back after several attempts from my part as they were making excuses how to not make a reimbursed payment of my loss and at the end they even had the guts to call me "cheap" for asking for the value of my brand new pants back, on top of that, even that they wasted my pants, they didn't refund me the amount I originally paid for the fix since they said, they did it but they had an accident and somehow that was shouldn't be cover by them. The item was not packaged properly clearly hence the damage, as well I was not offered insurance on the item - standard protocol for any UPS location, especially when the items are electronics or fragile. I have been trying to get this rectified for 10 days and the management/ownership team has been absolutely horrendous to deal with. The owner is trying to take away all responsibility from him and his team for their mistake. I am now going directly to UPS Head Office and preparing a bad faith lawsuit. I would not go anywhere near this location unless you are more than comfortable with your package arriving in an awful state as well as no ownership or integrity on their end if anything goes wrong aka they make the mistake and then it's on you. The manager is extremely rude and condescending. The owner is completely rude and condescending. I do large amounts of shipping for work purposes (upwards of 5 - 6 packages a week) and this is hands down the best worst shipping provider I have ever dealt with between western Canada. Genuinely pay more to avoid this place at all costs. It is not worth the risk. I have the messages back and forth from the owner speaking about his rights as an owner... how about taking ownership over your business and when you guys clearly make a mistake (Not 1 but 2) - not offering insurance and not packaging properly, you pay for the damages you've caused. Decent location for an eco station. Needed to drop off my two larger recyclable items - TV & air…read morepurifier plus the regular amount of household batteries and broken cords we all accumulate over a year. For those not familiar with eco stations, most things you bring in you don't get charged. Only of it's things they can't recycle or if it is plain garbage. For my case I didn't pay anything and can't good it wasn't going into the landfill. Friendly staff at this location and they all will ask enough questions to help get a person to the right areas/assist with unloading. Bins are decently spaced out for good flow of traffic and ease to pull up. Bin area and surrounding lot was well cleared of snow. The main centre yesterday was operating with one bay (#2) and still had numerous staff on hand to help unload and sort. As I was driving in, I noticed some great examples of upcycled Christmas cheer and I'm kicking myself for not taking more photos of the creative things like the tire Christmas tree. I do want to warn yelpers that this location has a very subtle entrance (you see a very clear large sign for the eco station but not at the entrance only at the curb along the street driving up to the actual entrance and less clear sign positioned further back indicating the entrance of the eco station roadway). It oddly has a much longer road than most to enter winding around the 1/2 the facility (assuming that's in order to help with summer higher traffic flow, as I've seen other stations back up with vehicles waiting on the main streets before but I mention this as one you turn in there's no getting back out until the official exit). I don't mind that bit of extra driving and as I was one of the few there, it was quick but I found it odd that a city facility doesn't have the road cleared within its fences but only the yard area of the bins. So definitely make sure you have winter tires to make it in and out of this facility area if you go during the colder months of the year. I also want to add that I didn't know there was a reuse centre at this location. Unfortunately I didn't know about it until exiting (when taking the photo), so I didn't ask about operation hours nor did staff mention if it was even open or that it was even there. Maybe it has different operating hours at the moment or is closed in winter? Maybe it's like the other reuse centres and not open yet? Who knows during the pandemic, as things can change so much in just a week. I'll be sure to investigate further on my next visit and report back.

It's an experience that makes me realize how privileged I am to be an Edmontonian!! *sniff* Anyhow, this Eco Station is a part of a futuristic mecca where conscientious citizens drop off recyclable, hazardous and/or reusable materials for little to no cost, cuz that's how we roll. Last time we dropped off a BBQ and picked up a patio chair. I also get the sense that this is a place for young people to get work experience and build their CVs. I am very happy my municipal taxes pay for a service like this. There's a Reuse centre onsite as well.
