Environmental Barriers came out and began work immediately. Halfway through installation of a wooden privacy fence, the attempted to swap to a different color wood. Once we refused, the project was delayed for weeks while they found wood. Upon their return, they worked long hours to complete the fence and immediately demanded full payment prior to my inspection stating that there is no way anything will be wrong with the fence.
I will tansition to a list format for convenience:
* The gate was pitted, poorly stained, with screws not only visible, but protruding.
* The fence posts wee not straight and did not have a concrete base poured.
* The slats were secured using staples, not nails.
* The fence was crooked with large gaps between the slats.
* The gate could only be opened from the inside. One would have to scale the fence from the outside (which would almost certainly knock it down).
These issues were raised and to their credit they fixed most of them. Once I paid I had a contract that states that I had 90 day craftmanship warranty. Since then I have found multiple slats that are poorly secured with staples still, and I can not get anyone to answer their phone. read more
