I told them I needed an afternoon appointment because of work. The scheduler said it would be put in the notes. I received a confirmation call that afternoon with a call time of 2-4pm and I said I needed a 30 min head up. Come Monday, they called me at noon, 1p and finally at 1:45p trying to see if I was available for the technician to come out. I kept telling them that my call time was 2-4p and I can't leave work yet. When I finally arrived at home to meet the technician shortly after 2p, he was about 10 minutes behind me. He was super friendly, put on a face mask and shoe covers and we discussed my problem. He asked each time before entering a room, opening a door, or laying anything down. Unfortunately for me, my issue turned out to be a $5 fix and I had to pay their $89 service fee. I will say that my parents have used Summers (Noblesville center) for SEVERAL different projects and issues throughout the years and they have always been satisfied with their work. They usually end up doing a little extra/going beyond and not charging for it. Would I recommend them...probably. Would my parents recommend them...definitely!

Very disappointed at the service. I had agreed to a…read moremaintenance plan of $11.99 per month and scheduled my routine HVAC inspection which is included. I really liked the technician Danny Burt. He found some things about the AC I only assume is correct because we have lived here 6 years and never had to fix anything on the AC so it seemed like it was ligit. The price was of course high but I'm sure any commercial service is going to run the same. Again I really like the technician, the low rating is no reflection on him or his work. The following week, I had an emergency plumbing situation. I cared summers 3 times and each time after holding about 2 minutes was given a voicemail to get a call back. So we called a different plumber and got the service done (Shout out ro Mr.Quick). I called to cancel the membership because this is the second time in my course of dealing with Summers that they have been unavailable for a service. ( I had their maintenance service a couple years back and a plumber refused to take his equipment down into the basement and do the work so I had to college a of a climber again in that situition. But I just decided to give summer's another chance because their monthly service was a little cheaper than the competitor. Of course when I called they said oh you have to have the money agreement for 6 months. They apologized and said they were busy but offered nothing. At very least they could have said we will give you a coupon or discount on the next service (I know i will still need service on the blower, but hey they didn't offer anything) so I got the date I can call and cancell with out them charging me and will drop them and not give them a third chance!

The furnace tech diagnosed the furnace as needing at least a new control board and couldn't be sure other parts weren't bad. The furnace was full of ice. Based on the price of the potential repairs, it made more sense to replace the furnace. The installers arrived first thing the next morning and we had heat around lunch time. Everyone from Chapman was clean, courteous and did great work. It wasn't cheap for any of this, but we feel that the prices were reasonable, especially since we were 100% done the very next day.

My original review of Chapman was in 2018 and centered around my wonky but still operational…read morefurnace. This time around, I've gotten the chance to try out Chapman to address some electrical issues in the house. Truthfully, I wasn't aware that Chapman handled electrical. I'd begun having some significant electrical issues a couple weeks before Thanksgiving. I called another company that I'd used for a smaller project with good results. They came over and did some minor adjustments, however, they noted there were significant issues and planned to send me an estimate. They did let me know this "fix" was more like a band-aid and the significant work was inevitable. It was less than a day when the "band-aid" stopped working. I waited a bit anticipating their estimate, though also disappointed that they'd done such a weak fix. Finally, things got WAY worse. It was shortly before Thanksgiving and the situation was urgent. I left a message for Chapman anticipating that I was likely out of luck for the holiday weekend. My general sense was that was their plan, too. However, I think the rep (I believe her name was Hannah) heard the panic in my voice and I explained my situation. She arranged for a technician to visit the house the next day. This tech did agree that the issue was serious and warranted a few major repairs. He explained it well and explained my options. To be honest, I'm usually quite cheap. However, when he gave me two options I went with the more expensive option as I really wanted to make sure the fix was done properly. I was tired of band-aids. They used my initial service call as a down payment and the electrician, Rodney as I recall, scheduled it and made sure he would be the electrician for the project (NOTE: In reality, this ended up being a 2-3 person job). The only slight hiccup was that I'd been told they'd arrive at 8am. In reality, I called them at 10am and learned they were having trouble finding one needed part. That was fine, though I should have been called. Around 11:15, and somewhat surprisingly, they arrived and dug in. Seven hours later? They were done. I was particularly touched by a neat gesture - I'm a wheelchair user. In their estimate, the electrician had written that he'd be putting my new panel in at wheelchair height. This wasn't something I asked for particularly, however, it was a pretty cool gesture recognizing my needs. Rodney explained everything and was entirely work focused. He completed the work as promised and the cost was exactly as quoted. He explained a couple other concerns - including one that wouldn't be a Chapman issue, however, he explained how it could impact the electric. I've now had Chapman work on my furnace and my electric. Are they more expensive? Yeah, I'd say so. If you're looking for a budget electrician, Chapman probably isn't that. However, in all three visits the work has been done and done well. They've avoided band-aids and actually fixed issues. Their quotes have been accurate. The employees have been professional. With the exception of today's tardiness, the experiences have all been impeccable. Truthfully, I should have likely called Chapman first. While I may not call them for smaller issues, the truth is for me it's worth a bit more to get the work done right. The work is warrantied and I now have a system that should last for years and is also accessible. That other company? I still don't have their estimate. Chapman wins.

The technician had the part already in his hand, and it is a plug and play part, which may at most cost $5. This is horrible business practice, and I will no longer be doing business with Plumbing Heating Paramedics. This company promotes pulling a fast one on their customers, as Wayne the tech mentioned to me he knows the part is very inexpensive, yet still chooses to work for this company, and then was attempting to force his religeon on me by saying I would be finding Jesus some day. BEWARE of this company who trains their employees to follow this poor business practice.

A technician came out and inspected it. He said he needed to turn water off to the whole house but probably would run into a problem with the shut off valve, and recommended that be replaced also. The total bill was going to be almost $1000. I wanted to think about it so paid him $85 for a service call and told him I would get back to him in a few days. In the meantime I spoke with a friend who has some plumbing knowledge and he told me how to make the repair. I didn't need to shut off the water at all. It cost me less than $6 and took about 5 minutes. I definitely feel I this technician was trying to swindle me. I called the owner and asked to speak with him to give him a chance to rectify the situation, but after leaving a message because he wasn't available never got a return call. I would avoid these people because now I sincerely questioned their honesty and/or competency.

The heat pump and air handler for half our house broke down at the worst possible time. John was incredibly responsive and had his team out to our house same day to check out the issue. They started work first thing the next morning, replacing the broken equipment, and then upgraded our furnace and AC units to more efficient models. What stood out the most however was the above and beyond service. Jesse and Cody were very thorough and even looked at things that others would not have. They double checked that some of the older equipment from the house was handling the updates correctly. They were able to identify where we had some bad electrical wiring and recommended an electrician. Our house is feels significantly comfier (temperature wise) than it ever had before.
