Pierre and his team were very helpful during an incredibly stressful situation with black mold. Grateful we found Pierre and his team to take care of a major mold issue throughout my Mom's basement after flooding. Pierre is well experienced, stays on top of things, and pleasant to speak with. I would highly recommend Pierre Cajuste and his team at EnviroBliss if you have a mold remediation project in your home. After an extensive evaluation of my home by an experienced mold inspector (EnviroHealth, May Dooley) I followed her adivce and contacted Pierre to carry out the remediation. Right from the start, Pierre was professional, polite and responsive. After speaking with him I was confident that he had the knowledge and experience to carry out the work. He provided a quote for the work that was thorough and fair. As is often the case with mold remediation work additional areas of concern where uncovered as the project progressed. Pierre advised and quoted on what additional work was required and more importantly what was not required ! His team carried out the work carefully by first erecting containment barriers, followed by thorough removal of the contaminated sheetrock, wood studs and even my refrigerator. Once the project started they stayed on it ot completion despite a few scope changes that I'm sure resulted in some scheduling challenges for Pierre. Mold in your home stressful enough as it is. Pierre and his team at EnviroBliss gave me a sense of security that the job was done properly. The post remediation inspection that was performed by EnviroHealth consulting met requirements. Lifesavers! Wonderful combination of meticulous and caring, this amazing team led by Pierre Cajuste, owner of Envirobliss LLC, made the process easier, simpler, faster and so very thorough that I don't know how to thank them. We had had repeated roof leaks that had been repaired and recurred until finally this long winter kicked them into high gear, causing me to have 4 months of bronchitis, until I connected the dots and moved out of our leaky bedroom. Had the fantastic May Dooley of EnviroHealth come and do a complete mold test, which showed a wide range of mold in exactly the areas of long term water damage. EnviroBliss came highly recommended, and was incredibly terrific with communication, scheduling, preparation and made the entire project a great success. They set up very careful containment areas, worked with us to phase it all in so we could live in part of the house while they worked on other parts. The proposal detailed the scope of work clearly, and they went above and beyond on making sure all areas of work were clean and completely free of dust and debris at all times. Pierre shared his expertise and experience with us, was very helpful with pointing out discoveries once walls were opened, and confirmation and documentation of mold presence with photos during the process of removals. He provided us with technical details of what to specify to our contractor for the repair work in terms of long-term prevention of mold growth, beyond even my experience as an architect, and this was invaluable in making the reconstruction process efficient as well. I have encountered several folks recently with various forms of water damage, including from fires and floods from apartments above, roof leaks, cellar flooding, etc. and have recommended Envirobliss wholeheartedly to all of them. They were lovely people to share a space with, and we missed them when they left, even our usually stand-offish cats liked them. I could just write, "what Gilly said," and concur without hesitation. But Envirobliss merits a little elaboration, given the care and attention given to my apartment, or Envirobliss patient, as Pierre would call it. From start to finish, Pierre and his workers were respectful and meticulous. I'm not sure how they also managed to be unobtrusive, given that they were taking the place apart and using large, state-of-the-art machines to rehabilitate the patient, but they did. Pierre made himself available to answer questions and address concerns as the process unfolded. He even sent a guy in a hazmat suit to get my passport from one of the sealed rooms when I realized I had forgotten it there and needed it for travel, on a day when Envirobliss was not schedule to work in my apartment at all. It was too late in the fall construction season by the time my board arrived at an agreement regarding repairs to my building's exterior, so I needed a temporary solution for the interior of my apartment until next spring. Pierre was the only remediator I spoke with who offered a creative, temporary solution that has left me mold free, per the results of post-remediation testing. Pierre Cajuste and his crew saved our basement and our sanity. Our basement was flooded a few years ago. We removed the soaked carpet, but, unfortunately, we did not get it all out. Since the basement was being used as a storage area, we did not see the mold problem this created until it was a real mess. We called EnviroBliss, and, once again, they did an amazing job. The mold had spread everywhere-it had even attacked the wooden framework of some upholstered furniture and the wooden shelves in a bookcase. Pierre and his crew Hepa vacuumed everything in the basement. Then they meticulously packed up everything in cartons and plastic wrap. They removed the dust and the mold and even re-built some of the shelves that could not be saved. They removed the upholstered furniture from the basement and took it away. Pierre and his crew could not have been kinder or more considerate.They are all knowledgeable, conscientious and a pleasure to work with. Now, our basement looks great!
