When we first put our house on the market an investor offered a lowball cash offer, which we declined (but stayed in contact with). Three months later we had to 48 hours to close on our new house or lose it so we asked Lusi to contact the investor to say that we were willing to take the offer. She didn't even bother to reach out to them for several days, which meant we lost that opportunity! In the end, MY HUSBAND found another investor to sell our house to. We contacted them, negotiated, and sold the house. But guess what?! Lusi still got close to $18,000 for US selling our own house. I have no idea what she did to earn that money.

I am writing this review to share my experience with the property management at Marshall Reddick…read morein San Antonio. On a positive note, the team was very responsive prior to move-in, answering phone calls and text messages in a timely manner. Unfortunately, that level of service dropped significantly once I was in the home. Post-move-in communication was exceptionally poor. I often had to call multiple times without receiving a response, despite the company expecting immediate replies whenever they reached out to me. We also experienced recurring issues with the home's water heater, losing hot water on at least three separate occasions. When we submitted maintenance requests, we were advised to turn up the temperature on the unit. While this provided a temporary fix, the underlying issue kept happening. It was only after sending a stern email and copying the property manager that the problem was finally addressed properly. To make matters worse, upon move-out, we were improperly charged a cleaning fee despite having hired professional cleaners and submitting the receipts directly to Joshua Garza. Joshua was unresponsive regarding the charge, and even after CCing Melisa Day, I still received no reply or resolution to this day. The lack of accountability and communication has been extremely frustrating. If you want to avoid a headache, I recommend to NOT lease through this company.

From the day we moved in, our experience has been disappointing. We've submitted multiple maintenance requests that have either gone unanswered or been marked as completed without anyone ever coming to our home. One of the most concerning issues is a large hole our neighbor's dog dug under the fence, allowing it access to our backyard. I was told they would "look into it, and call me back" but I never received a follow-up. Despite multiple calls, voicemails, and an online work order, the issue remains unresolved weeks later. We also reported an unbalanced ceiling fan that appears unsafe to use. After waiting over two months, I received a notification stating the repair had been completed, even though no one ever came to inspect or fix it. Communication has been extremely poor. Calls are rarely returned, voicemails go unanswered, and it feels nearly impossible to get a response from maintenance, the tenant coordinator, or Property Manager Melisa Day. Another frustration is that because these are new construction townhomes, tenants are expected to coordinate directly with vendors for certain repairs. That responsibility should fall on property management, not the tenant. To make matters worse, there is a significant gnat infestation. Despite paying for private pest control every two months and purchasing Zevo traps at my own expense, the problem persists. After speaking with several neighbors, I learned this is a community-wide issue. My experience has left me feeling that once the lease is signed, tenant concerns are no longer a priority. If you are considering renting here, I encourage you to carefully research the property before making your decision. ( we are very clean people three of those zevos have been there for 5 days, one I just changed yesterday.)

An Exceptional Realtor Who Truly Goes Above and Beyond!…read more Danny was absolutely amazing throughout our entire home-buying journey, and I honestly cannot recommend him highly enough. As first-time homeowners relocating from California to San Antonio, Texas, we had a lot to navigate, and Danny made what could have been an incredibly stressful experience so much easier. From the very beginning, Danny went above and beyond to guide us through every step of the process. He took the time to create videos of countless homes so we could see our options from a distance, and his videos were incredibly thorough. He made sure we understood what we were looking at, patiently answered every question we had (including plenty of questions that probably seemed ridiculous to anyone else!), and somehow managed to make us laugh along the way. His knowledge, patience, communication, and genuine care made all the difference. But what truly sets Danny apart is that he didn't just help us find a house--he fought for us and worked hard to help us get the deal we needed. We always felt like he was in our corner, advocating for our family and helping us navigate the process with confidence. That kind of dedication is priceless, especially when you're making such a major life decision. Choosing Danny as our realtor was one of the best decisions we made during our move. He wasn't just our realtor; he was our guide, our advocate, and someone we came to trust throughout the entire journey. We are incredibly grateful for everything he did to help us get into our home. If you're looking for a realtor who is knowledgeable, thorough, responsive, personable, dedicated, and genuinely invested in helping you succeed, Danny is your guy! We would recommend him without hesitation to anyone buying a home. He is our number-one realtor, hands down, and we couldn't have asked for a better person to help us through this experience. Danny, thank you for everything you did for our family. You made a huge difference in our lives, and we will always appreciate the hard work, care, and dedication you showed us. You truly are the BEST!

What was communicated about the transaction structure, costs, and process changed significantly as the deal progressed. Costs and time increased substantially, transparency was poor, and what was communicated did not match what ultimately appeared in the transaction documents or in the agents actions. There was consistent use of urgency and pressure around signing agreements containing terms that were far less favorable than what had been communicated. These were just some of the many issues experienced. Taken together, the experience left me with zero trust in how this group conducts business. This kind of conduct is exactly why wholesalers have such a bad reputation. Fortunately, in this tighter real estate market, slimy wholesaling companies like this one are being pushed out, that is a good thing. A complaint is being submitted regarding clear, well documented violations of the National Association of Realtors Code of Ethics and Professional Standards by a group of us who discovered they had experienced similar conduct. A complaint to the BBB to follow. The other reviews that are 5 stars appear to be generic and fake.
