Entree has been around Redding since i moved here. I love their service. It's locally owned and I love that. I've never had any major complaints and if I drop my food I know it's my own fault. I enjoy the convenience of this service but it is only as good as each unique order. If everything goes well it is great but if something goes wrong there is no recourse. They don't drop the food off with any supportive structure around it. So, you must be very careful transporting into the house. If you drop something from the flimsy containers the food is packed in you are out of luck. The restaurant won't do anything and Entree Express won't do anything. If another service opens up in Redding... I will drop Entree Express like the hot tins of food they deliver NOT in a bag or box. They often forget little things like the chips with the fajitas. I am never sure if the little things they forget are the restaurant's fault or theirs. One thing I am SURE of... if something goes wrong they won't take responsibility for it and neither will the restaurant. read more

I love this service, and it is local! I try to support local businesses whenever possible. The menu they offer is not as large as it could be which worries me a bit. I'm concerned the national food delivery services will overshadow Entrée Express. Nevertheless, Entrée express is a reliable service and every time we use them the food arrives hot and fresh. I've only used Entrée Express a few times over the years, and every time I forget how things work, but every time I ask, the employees ALWAYS politely explain how to utilize the service, and it works out perfectly. We got every single thing we ordered, it was piping hot, and it was exactly the amount of time they had quoted us. We've been using Entree Express for a few years now and am always pleased with the service. The drivers are friendly and the delivery time is always under the estimated time. Last night we had a special treat, because we were served by Duane, driver #42. He came in and started taking the food out and, as he was doing so, asked my wife and me if we knew of the policies regarding food returns and customer complaints. When he found out that we had not heard about this in all of our time hiring the service, he proceeded to explain in detail and in plain English what the procedures are. There was no malice in his voice, in fact, he was explaining all this to us as if we were friends of the family. My wife and I were so impressed with his courtesy and professionalism and dedication to customer satisfaction that, upon Duane's exit, my wife immediately called the office to compliment the company and Duane personally. For some reason, the gentleman on the phone appeared disinterested and detached. Perhaps it was late (20 minutes past last delivery time) or just a tough day. Either way, it was disheartening and a definitely a downer to the experience we just had. We didn't let that bummer-dude upset our meal. We had ordered from Logan's Roadhouse and they are one of the top Restaurants in our experience to order delivery from. But, that's another review....... What a bad experience. While they did get us the rest of our food eventually it should of been right the first time. I can't believe they didn't double check the order before they brought it. We spent over $50 plus a tip and the order they brought us was wrong. If these guys plan on staying in business they may want to do a better job. I will have to be really hungry and unable to drive or walk somewhere before I use this service again. read more

I used Entre express for the 1st time last night. I was very impressed with the whole situation. I requested my mail to be delivered at 6 PM. The driver walked in my door at 6:01 PM! They hardly check the orders, sending often food that is wrong, even tho if they glanced at the ticket they would realize that it's wrong or lacking items. Wow, the delivery times are beyond garbage. No breakfast delivery? No Sunday delivery when no one wants to go out on Sunday after Saturday night bar fun?! They cut off delivery times often 30-45 minutes before they close effectively shutting off more buisness and often frustrating customers. In a town that is pathetic to begin with, with resturants often (read almost every one) having no delivery, this half ass delivery service overcharging you for sub par delivery of often cold and or wrong food, with terrible buisness times is a joke. You people in Redding really need to get out to other cities if you think this garbage is "5 star". Almost all of your restaurant's or services would not make it past 2 stars anywhere else. read more

This service was great! My folks were travelling from Southern California back to Washington State and I wasn't able to go with them. By the time they checked into the hotel in Redding, they were too tired after 4-5 hours of driving to back out. Instead of allowing them to skip dinner, I hopped on Yelp from So Cal, found Entree Express and gave them a call. They were able to answer my questions and even gave me some feedback as to which local restaurants would be most likely to have the types of food likely to appeal to my elderly folks. The driver took the food directly to their room and was polite and helpful! Redding is one of the usual stops on their frequent trips back and forth and we definitely use this service if the need/desire arises again. read more

This service is cool as hell when you don't have the time to go out but want something from a specific restaurant. Or if you happen to be drinking or smoking and just want to chill. Price-wise is not bad at all. The only thing to consider when ordering is trying to order meals that travel well. They have a lot of restaurants on their list that are very good but there are a few others I wish would hook up with this service.
