Review: entirely mobile, Eric Fauteux
I had a very positive experience using Eric of entirely mobile tire and wheel services. I originally called him to just repair some curb rash on an alloy wheel on my 2021 Toyota Highlander, and to see if he could repair it it's flat tire which had a piece of metal embedded in it. He picked the tire up from my home , and over a few days, he successfully blended out the damage, and took the time to find the optimum colour match with the chrome finish of the wheel. I was very impressed with the amount of effort he took to research the proper paint before he did the repair, and now you cannot even see where the damage was. He let me know the damage to the tire was beyond safe repair limits, and feeling I could trust him I decided to buy for all new tires from him since mine were almost to the wear bars, and later we determined that my 4-5 years old wheels needed new tire pressure warning system units (the TPWS had not been working). I never felt like I was being up sold, and in each case he took the time to discuss and walk me through his logic. It took two days to order in the tires and he switched them all out right in my driveway over a few hours, and they look and drive great. I definitely recommend using Eric for his honesty, good communication, professional skills, and strong work ethic.
NOTE: Clients should note, that he also has to charge a lot of the same additional fees like Canadian Tires, such as environmental and tire disposal fees, shop supplies cost, balancing fees, etc., as well as the fact that you should expect to pay a small fee for him coming to do all this in your driveway, so you might want to ask him for an "all-in" estimate so you are not surprised. I found his costs fair when I compared them to Costco and Canadian Tire. Eric was also sensitive to work around my own work schedule, and he did his part between 5 to 8 PM at night so I did not have to take time off work. read more
