Silverstar Automotive Solutions took my car did an inspection found out that I had some other issues that needed repaired fixed my problem and the most urgent repairs all within my budget. They found out I had an oil leak I thought my car was just burning oil. They showed me pictures of how bad my engine looked inside. They also performed a Walnut blasting which cleaned out the engine. My car runs a lot smoother. No hesitation, no rough idle and I can start the car right away. I lot of garages don't work on used European vehicles. Silverstar automotive solutions does.

We used the Garage for several years without issue, and always appreciated their work and professionalism. However, last fall, we brought our car in to have the winter tires installed. They have ALWAYS been on their own separate set of rims. When the car was in the shop, Jeremy called me to tell me the tires were worn out, so we elected to purchase new ones and have them installed. But when we picked up the car, we found our summer tires no longer on rims. He claimed our winters hadn't been on rims and they used the summer rims for the new winter tires. Frankly, with nothing but my word against theirs, I left, and went over and over in my head every possibility of how my winter tires could have NOT have been on rims when I dropped them off, but it's really not possible. They were always on rims. I carried them up from my basement that morning (heavy). Nevertheless, through several follow up calls, the Garage was unwilling to truly consider that the mistake could have been theirs. He "asked his guys" about it, and they claimed there'd been no rims. "I don't know what to tell you," was the response Jeremy repeatedly gave. So, we gave up and have since gone to a new garage. Mistakes happen, but the disinterest in trying to work with us to actually consider and resolve the situation is why I can't recommend this place anymore. And lesson learned: take pictures of your tires before you hand them over to any garage.

I went to Avenue Tire Depot to swap my tires (on rims) and get an oil change (I had the oil). While…read moredriving to the shop I noticed my car making a squealing noise from the front suspension so I asked the owner Mohamad Zeitoun to take care of it. I also asked him to spray a thick layer of undercoating to help lubricate all components after a rough Canadian winter. As his employee Hamid was working on my vehicle I noticed my tires were still on the vehicle, this is bad practice as you don't want the spray to get all over your rims (which it did), so I asked him to take them down. He only took one down and continued spraying for about 10 seconds. He then started lowering the vehicle when I stopped him and pointed out a huge section (rear axle) which was untouched and I asked him to spray it. He did a poor job to say the least. After lowering my vehicle I decided to do a quick visual check when I noticed that he missed the front struts which is what's causing the noise to begin with. I asked the owner Mohamad to have him spray it and paid him the $130 he asked for. Before leaving the owner informed me that the noise will be gone after driving a few miles. I paid and drove home with a noisy car. The next morning I decided to go for a drive to help get all the parts lubricated and the vehicle was still making a very loud noise every time I move the car or even turn the wheel, even while idling. I did some research and came across a couple of websites which teach you how to get rid of this exact noise yourself easily by lubricating only the necessary parts (ball joints) using the zerk or a needle which is inserted from the top of the ball joint. I drove back to the shop to show the owner the video I found online and ask him why he didn't fix it properly the day before. He said the best course of action would be to replace the control arm I had just purchased before winter. I informed him that this was not necessary, that the car drives absolutely fine at speeds of 130km/h and that it's simply a matter of lubricating the inside of the ball joints using the zerk or a needle which is inserted from the top of the ball joint as shown on the video. He started saying things like this is a "tire shop" and that since he rarely does that type of work his brother next door would be the one to get my vehicle fixed since he has the grease gun. He then told me that at the end of the day, lubricating the ball joints is something that he will not be doing and that he really didn't care. His employees are not properly trained and I'm sure none of them have their licence. I do not appreciate this business trying to sell me a part which was not in need of replacement but only needed servicing. This is common knowledge among mechanics, that even backyard mechanics on YouTube are teaching their fellow followers to save them money and here is this man trying to take advantage of me in this situation. Despicable, especially during these stressful times. Not only that, I never received an invoice for the $130 I paid to have these services completed even though I asked for one multiple times at his shop as well as over the phone and via text message. There were four other witnesses inside the waiting are at the time who heard and saw everything. He also has cameras and I recorded entire conversation. I will attach photos which were taken after the employee was finished that display dry, uncoated metal where it needed lubrication most (front struts). He then sent me a text message (see photos) with such attitude. This man has absolutely no respect for his customers.
