This place was different, and I enjoyed the traditional teahouse experience. There are no outside shoes allowed inside of the teahouse, and there are slippers provided for you to use. I thought this was such a unique touch. I enjoyed the tea blend that I got, but I forgot the name of it! It's a great place to go to chill on a chilly day, it is noticeably warm inside, just thought I would mention that!

The ambiance is absolutely lovely. When we arrived we were the only people there which I preferred, I could see this place getting busy during certain times. The areas are a bit on the smaller size so if there were a lot of people it would make it a challenge to get around but on this visit, we didn't have that concern. The tea selection is great. We tried a few together. It was different from other tea houses we visited because they give you everything for your tea and you pour and drink at your leisure. I enjoyed that, we never had to wait for more tea and could chat & enjoy the tea however we wanted. We will certainly be back

A must visit, one of Brooklyns hidden haunts. If you are a tea lover DO visit and remember to take off your shoes at the door. Hospitable and comfortable, just remember to be respectful and mindful of the other patrons inside !!

I was so happy to finally come to Enthea after finding them years ago at Tea Fest. It was a small bag of their Tulsi tea that's now run out that brought me back here (HIGHLY recommend). We sat down to share a pot of peach oolong & just enjoy the relaxing space. Really cool things to look at & a purposeful collection of tea, pots & cups, trays, etc from all over. The tea is great, and so was the person working who was really friendly and helpful..told us a lot of cool facts about teas. My husband's never been exposed to tea so he's not really a "tea guy" and this was his first time trying. He loved it! He really enjoyed having a few cups of tea with Griswold the friendly stuffed cat. We will be back very soon to enjoy more teas, small bites, and their great events they put together. I made sure to stock up on a couple teas so I can have my favorites at home too.

Ask the Community - Enthea Tea House

Is there a high tea service offered, with cucumber sandwiches, petit fors, scones & clotted cream, and the like?

No. They are more a traditional Chinese tea house filled with Asian antiques serving varietal caffeine and herbal teas.

I would like Enthea's phone number so I can check that the tea house is open for business before driving there. What is Enthea's phone number? Also, the web site link isn't…

They communicate via Facebook and Instagram. They keep up their hours on both of those.

The store has a lot of teas and spices in various sizes. It was well organized and stocked. They all had various tea and spice related items. When I checked out she told me that if I bring the container back they will refill with any tea and take $3 off the purchase which I thought was great! She was bright and friendly and offered to help me create a new mix when I mentioned looking for a dupe of a discontinued brand. I definitely recommend if you're a tea lover.

The store itself is very clean and has a lot of cute decorations. Drinks are very colorful and have some fun seasonal themes. The employee behind the counter was super sweet and friendly. Service was really fast event though I think they were working alone. I really enjoyed my French Daisy-- the purple is SUPER vibrant in person, even though the yellow is a little duller than the ad. It was refreshing and very sweet (my preference, my partner got his 50% sweet and said that was perfect for him). The tapioca pearls were just the right consistency. We got there at 2:15 p.m., and there was a "be back soon" sign on the door. Lee showed up at 2:30 p.m. and was absolutely wonderful--super friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. My drink was spot on; the tea flavor came through, it had a nice bitterness, and wasn't overly sweet, which I prefer. My colleagues ordered a matcha latte and the Redstraw signature drink and weren't as happy due to the sweetness. They went for 25% sweetness in theirs, but still found it a bit too sweet.

They are located outdoors within a repurposed trimet station, which add such a a unique Portland touch to their vibe. Although usually a 1-2 person operation, drinks always come out relatively quick! I tried the tiramisu latte and the black sesame latte. The tiramisu latte was easily my favorite. The cream top is rich and delicious, and when mixed into the coffee it really tastes like a classic tiramisu dessert. It's sweet, smooth, and feels like a treat without being overwhelming. The black sesame latte was also great, especially if you like nutty flavors. It has a natural sweetness with a deep roasted sesame taste that almost reminds me of peanut butter, making it both comforting and unique. I've also had their regular latte before and really appreciate the quality of their espresso. The coffee itself has a smooth, balanced flavor that stands out even without added syrups or toppings. A great spot to visit if you enjoy creative specialty drinks but still want genuinely good coffee underneath it all.
