I rented a vehicle from the Wake Forest Enterprise location after my vehicle was hit by another driver. I arrived with all necessary information for Enterprise to bill the other driver's insurance directly. I was told a credit card was required to be on file, which was fine, but I clearly reiterated multiple times that the insurance company was to be billed and my card should not be charged. I received multiple verbal confirmations that they would bill the insurance and my card would not be charged. Despite those assurances, my credit card was charged... I called the location to address the issue and was told that they would bill the insurance company moving forward using the information they already had. When my vehicle repairs were completed, and I returned the car, I again confirmed everything was handled and was explicitly told that it was. More than six months later, I received a notice stating that I owed over a grand and received an invoice that was grossly incorrect. It failed to properly account for the charges already made to my credit card, included refunds that were never issued, and reflected Enterprise's continued failure to bill the insurance company as they were supposed to from the start. Now I'm stuck in the middle, wasting my time going back and forth between Enterprise and the insurance company to fix problems that never should have existed if not for this location's failure to do the most elementary parts of their job, lack of follow-through, and basic administrative competence. There are multiple other rental agencies in the area, do yourself a favor and take your business literally anywhere else. Dealing with the incompetent buffoons running this location simply isn't worth the headache. read more

Of Any car rental places I've used, and that's a Lot, this location is by Far the best. Super friendly, professional, Competent staff and So efficient. I was out of there before I knew it. My insurance company scheduled a pick up for noon. I get to the location they have no cars available until 2 days later. The front desk person wasn't even there to greet me so I had to wait 10 mins before I spoke to anyone extremely unhelpful. Receptionist wasn't interested in helping me locate another car either. No one called to let me know prior to my arrival that there were no cars available. I guess front desk didn't care because while speaking to someone else she advised her last day was in week While waiting for my ride, workers completely ignored me I will never rent from this place again unprofessional rude ass people and company!! I reserved a car here for pick up at 3:00. Received a call from an employee at 1:00 asking if I could push my pick up time back since they had no cars available. I said I need a car no later than 5:00. Called them back at 4:30 to see if there was a car available and was told there was. Arrived at 4:45 to get the car. No one was in the office. Went out back to find 3 employees smoking. They told me to go inside and wait and they'd be in soon. I was already running late due to not getting a car at 3:00. You would think someone could put out their cigarette to come in and help me. I canceled the car and my plans. Lesson learned to never rent a car from this location. read more

They will over charge you and give different prices to individuals - then they won't return your phone calls after asking to speak to manager and tell you he's not around....don't give them your business! Absolutely top notch service. I reserved a sedan for a weekend trip, asked if I could upgrade after realizing we'd need more room. The staff at this location was wonderful, accommodated my request with no hassle. I had a gorgeous minivan for the weekend. Tyler (I believe was his name) was extremely professional, polite, and asked if I had any questions while we checked over car prior to me driving away. Upon return, Tyler checked me in promptly, despite a large line (Sunday was busy!), and shook my hand and thanked me for my business. After reserving an SUV - I arrived at my reserved time to find 2 in the parking lot. I was offered every other car but the two that fit the description of the car I reserved. After completing the paperwork for a car I DID NOT WANT two people were offered the car I had reserved. Make it make sense. A $20 discount to keep me from complaining. This location in Wake Forest NC is very deceiving. I was charged for an extra day. I called and was put on hold forever. They refused to give me a full refund for the extra day. I was only given about 75% of what I was charged. They made a mistake and wouldn't take full responsibility for it. I do not recommend this location. read more

I have rented vehicles from Enterprise all over the nation. From Airports to branch locations. This branch location, which I have rented from 3 times is the Queen of the Pigs. I had only one experience which was as it should be uneventful. The other two times, I encountered a miserable woman. She has zero customer experience understanding. The first encounter I had with the "manager" was after a car pickup, I compared my original online receipt w/the branch receipt and noticed about $50 dollars more. I turned around went in and explained the price reserved was less and I noticed that although my rate included comprehensive it appears personal liability was added without my knowledge. The "manager" said aloud "it's like $6.00" and I said yes, it is Per Day. Adding an extra $48.00 to the total. To be clear, I'm not cheap however I like to have what I have agreed to pay for and not what someone else felt I should add to help the daily sale. I carry a massive personal umbrella and would never need an extra liability. My second experience with "Misery" resulted because I was early by 1.5 hours and the car size I reserved was not available. I realize branch locations are not airport locations and yes, lack inventory however there is no reason to be rude, abrasive or not apologize. Mistakes in life happen daily, no process, nor person is perfect however if you want a customer to remain loyal. Don't have an attitude or look like you sucked a Lemmon. Try to at least ensure the customer experience remains in tact so as to retain a good customer. To that end, Enterprise is my favorite however I would never endorse this location, nor would I ever return. From now on the Airport is the only location based on my experience. read more

Rented full sized cars from here twice, purely because it's the closest to my home. The first car had tire pressure warning lights as soon as I drove it a few miles. They blamed it on the change in temps, but it was 25PSI all around and I've personally never observed the change to autumn to drop all four tires on a car drop by 10PSI. No big deal, $1 in maintenance might help someone ahead of me, I paid it forward. Rental #2 was a Chevy Impala that had definitely seen better days. The longer in it that I spent (on a painfully long road trip to Knoxville and back) the more I noticed: Splatter and a thick film of pollutant on the *inside* of the windshield, sticky steering wheel, fitlhy black (supposed to be gray) footwell carpets, saw 2 ants crawling around on the console, white dog hair, stale smell from the vents, and 36K miles on the odometer. Upon return, I relayed just some of this feedback when it was solicited, but I received the impression that the staff weren't surprised. It almost seemed like I was the one being picky, so I asked about whether they even had any nicer/newer cars and I was told that they were "basically the overspill from the airport". Which, while annoying it its realization, I found a helpful and candid guide in letting me be absolutely sure about never renting from here again. To add insult to injury, the person that went outside to check the car, insisted that the hood had been dented and had two of the women in the office go out to double check while I waited for my receipt and while my family waited outside. Apparently it was how the light was hitting the hood. It is a dimly lit facility. When this was finally decided (as the agent pulled around the back to look under the light) and I finally got my receipt, a couple strolled in and the guy was a walk-in that sounded like come straight from the mountains, like I had, as I could barely understand his dialect. That sounded about right. Bottom line: rent here, if you want to drive an airport hand-me-down, trickle down rolling stock to the proletariat, from the airport business man, who is "going pro" (National Franchise quote). You will be roughing it, but based upon the exact same price point as the people pay at the airport, for the newer rolling stock. The only benefit here, is the "we'll pick you up" service, which I didn't need. read more

I have had nothing but great experiences at this location. They are very friendly and always quick efficient service. For the most part I give them 5 stars, this past time was more of 4 stars because I was given a car with a low tire light, check engine oil light, and low washer fluid light. I kept getting reassured that everything was fine and it was just the weather but there's something about renting a car and really wanted to be reassured that the car is safe. My tire was actually low and needed to be filled and I'm not sure about the oil but it got me where I needed to go safely. I will definitely use them again. read more

Scam! Do not rent/return to this location! Rented a vehicle through Enterprise on Main St in Wake Forest through my insurance because of an accident, and my wife conducted a full walk- AROUND of the vehicle, marking all deficiencies (scratches and dents). Our car was ready for pick up at Caliber Collision and Enterprise at Main St. stated that we could drop off the rental at this location. Dropped it off on a Friday afternoon and received a call on Tuesday (5 days later) stating that there was damage on the roof and the undercarriage of the car and we were responsible for it. They said that an investigation would need to be conducted and took $300 from my wife's checking account (only $50 initial deposit). Money was never mentioned when my wife went to talk to their staff about the issue, they have not contacted me with pictures or investigation details through my email in which they stated they would do. This is a complete scam! Undercarriage and roof of the vehicle noted 5 days after the car was returned! read more

Had a minor issue with being picked up on time, but they made sure to get me in and out promptly so that I was not late. The car was very nice and the staff was great! We did find a tray of peanuts folded up in the armrest in the back seat, good for a laugh with the guys I was with. When I mentioned it to the staff, they were very apologetic and even gave a $20.00 credit to my rental. Not necessary, but greatly appreciated! Will definitely rent from them again! read more

My van's transmission went out just before Christmas, and of course it was hard to get a speedy repair. The Enterprise folks provided me with a rental and shuttle service and were consistently friendly and courteous. They really made up for what could have been a logistically-stressful week. I had an issue with a vehicle I received from another location. I was promised a specific vehicle would be put on hold for me and when I arrived, the vehicle was not the same. I took it home as I was in a rush and noticed the next day that the tags were expired. When I called to inform them, a women who claimed to be the manager told me that I would not receive a ticket if pulled over. This infuriated me. Not only did this women lie about being a manager at the location, but I don't think it is in any way great customer service to tell me that it's ok if I get pulled over because I "won't receive a ticket." The real manager of this location eventually had someone bring me a new car but this vehicle smelled like cigarette smoke. I had no choice in rental companies at this time but after this experience I will not rent with Enterprise again. I had a total of three vehicles in less than 48 hours. I walked in on 2/1 at 5:00pm and stating I needed a car until 10 am on 2/9. All set at $213.23 for the reservation and a $200 deposit. Then I get the deposit refunded on 2/10 and it is for $157.61. When I called to find out why, "Andrew" says that they already gave me 3 free days and that I had the car for 1 week and 1 day. Then he said, they gave me 2 free days. Truthfully, I had NO FREE DAYS, because I walked into their office and provided his representative my exact dates and times of pick up and drop off and he gave me cost. I did not make the reservation on line and mess anything up. The only reason I am giving them a star at all is because after an extremely irritating phone conversation, Andrew finally with agreed to refund the additional $35.99 they charged me after I requested to speak with his manager. From now on, I will pay the extra fees to go with National, even if I have to go to the airport to get the car. read more

Rented a car to go out of state. It was just after Hurricane Matthew. Enterprise admitted to price gouging when I asked why the weekly cost was so high. During my trip I had a flat tire. I was towed to a near by enterprise to get another vehicle so I could continue on my trip. A couple weeks later I received harassing emails and letters from the damage claims department stating the wheel rim was damaged when I had the flat tire and wanted money to replace the rim. They sent me a picture of a rim (not the one off the vehicle I rented) that looked like it came off a full size truck? It had a flat edge on outside of the rim? Beware of this scam! I will never rent another vehicle from enterprise! read more

I have used this location over the past year with mixed results. Initially, they were OK, but in the past few months their customer service has gone downhill. Out of the last three rentals, they have been late picking me up (by 30 minutes or more) on all three occasions. Twice the car, was not the car that I requested. On the last rental, they were 40 minutes late picking me up, the car had no cruise control (I requested that feature as I had a long drive) and the manager never called me back after I requested to be contacted. This store has a high turnover rate and I suspect that this is part of the issue, but they need some serious intervention. I will now have to go and find another car rental company in my vicinity. read more

We've rented from this location twice. Both times have been satisfactory- both in cars and in service. We were greeted right away and check in and out were both fairly quick. The cars were not perfect, but clean and running well. No complaints. I feel like their prices are competitive and they are convenient for us. Will be back if the need arises. read more

I called this morning to reserve a pick up truck and spoke to Ryan. My goodness you would have thought that I was calling him asking him to donate money to a terrorist orginization. I asked him if he had a pick up truck available. He said no. No harm no foul. Then I asked if there were any alternatives. He said no we do not have any alternative pick up trucks. I then said do you have an alternative like a cargo van, SUV or minivan. He says they do not have anything like that on the lot. I asked him why the online system says that they do, he says the online system is wrong. I then ask if he would call other Enterprises to see if they have any in stock, he says that he can not read their systems, nor does he offer to call or even ask if he can provide me with their number. I guess in 2010, customer service has officially went bankrupt! A big disappointment and a local customer that will never shop there again. read more

We called days before we needed a truck to reserve one. We were on a tight schedule and needed it first thing in the morning. We were told we could pick up the truck at 8am, first thing in the morning. Well when we got there, there was NO truck. NO truck at 8am like we were told. They had to go all the way to the airport pick up a truck and drive it back. This put us way behind our tight schedule. Not to mention we had to have the truck back by a certain time though they were behind on ensuring we had the truck first thing in the morning. read more
