For my recent long distance trips, Brenda, Devon and Jaylen always made sure I was given a car that I felt secure & comfortable in, and they provided whatever miscellaneous tech and showed me the different features I should know to make sure my trip goes smoothly and that I enjoyed my drive. They also efficiently process & explain the paperwork & steps so I can get on the road sooner. When it comes to customer service this branch and everyone here are truly the best! read more

This is the absolute worst rental car place I have been. Very unprofessional- rude employees - terrible cars - terrible service - DO NOT RENT FROM HERE read more

I only ask for communication with this company and to receive a call back from this day yet I have not received a call back I visited the location and asked to speak to the manager I spoke to the manager Julian I rented a vehicle the last week of July the beginning of August I was charged a fee for cleaning the vehicle when I returned the vehicle there was nothing wrong with the young lady walked around it and said the vehicle was fine now I'm charged $150 fee this company is not reputable they don't return calls they charge you whatever they want to charge you which is incorrect I will have to go to another company from this day forward read more

Headache and a half! I visited here to rent a car and had already made my reservation online. When I arrived they tried to give me a dirty vehicle which had trash inside and was missing cup holders. They told me it was the only vehicle available. I then had to wait for the cleaners to clean the vehicle the second time in two days. After the cleaning crew finished I inspected the vehicle again only to find the back of the vehicle was covered in dog hair, and there was trash behind the seats . at that point, it was just ridiculous and a waste of my time. We got on the road late and there was no need for them to not have been diligent in the cleaning of their vehicles. read more

I rented several times at this location in valley stream and was always pleased with the service until today. I had made a reservation online for a compact SUV, when I arrived at 5 pm, I was informed that it was not available. The manager rudely and abruptly said "It's not how we operate" when I tried to explain that it should not have allowed me to book the reservation online if the car was not available. I told him that I was not going to pay more money for another car when he demanded that I do. As a woman, I felt threatened and uncomfortable. Sean another employee asked for my driver's license and shouted your license has expired, I corrected him that it will expire in 5 days and I had already renewed and waiting to receive it in the mail. I dealt with this supervisor in the past and he was always respectful because other employees were Caucasians, he knew to behave civilly but today his true color came out, he felt comfortable because there were two other black men like himself working there when I came that's why the treatment was different. It is a sad reality; I am Black myself. I will not return to this location. read more

Ed and his associates at Enterprise were very friendly and helpful even though my reservation was 15 minutes before closing on a weekend. 3 other car rental establishments in the area either had no cars available but I was able find what I needed here and at a reasonable price. Within a few minutes I was in a new mid size luxury SUV and on my way. I wish all rental car establishments ran as well as this. read more

Very disappointed with the integrity of this office. I rented for slightly less than a month because of a car accident. When I turned the car in, I had left my gig bag and band merchandise in the car by mistake. No one ever alerted me to this and when I went back and brought it to their attention they denied ever having seen it. You want to sell my microphone, my cable, my tambourine, my zills, my preamp - fair play, but you also got all my lyrics, all my band merchandise (that *I* can't even sell) in the form of t-shirts, coasters, badges, etc. as well as all my business cards, LED lighting to light the merch display, all the pricing signs I made AND the vintage suitcase that was all tricked out as a merch display. I know you can't have done anything with that except chuck it to the side of the road and now I have to start over again from scratch. On top of that, I got COVID from having to use a house mic at a gig because you had *my* mic. I will only use this Enterprise again if I'm being forced at knifepoint. read more

Office people were nice . However I was disappointed with my car rental even though I love the brand and model. The vehicle should not been allowed to be available as a rental . The vehicle needed maintenance like the oil and filter replaced , the brake light was flashing on the dashboard , washer fluid was lower and the wiper blades need to be replaced . Also the key battery was low not a good thing having to worry if you are start the car. Somehow the vehicle i really wanted to rent wasn't available however as I took possession of my rental it mysteriously became available . Made me think of I was being shafted because my car insurance was paying for the rental . I never had an experience like this one in all the years I have occasionally had the need to rent a car and Hope it doesn't happen again . What's wrong enterprise ? read more

Would never come and give this place business again. They are very unprofessional and treat customers like criminals more than customers. I was victimized by Kevin Li. Disappointed and will always search for other options before coming to an enterprise again.... read more

Enterprise Rent-A-Car - Rude clerks - Car Rental Near Me - Valley Stream, New York

I had a great experience here. Mr. Andrews was top notch, professional, and on point. Thank you, sir! I will gladly rent here again!

So i was told they close at 11 and i have been on line in an extremely crowded office for over 45 minutes .Only one person working .Totally unacceptable!!! read more

Just got back from a 3-day trip to Washington DC with my two teenagers (16 and 18). We rented a Mazda CX-5 (NJ license plate S40-PUC) from this office. When we picked it up, the staff was polite, friendly, professional and attentive despite the office being very busy (a tribute to the staff, perhaps). The car was in perfect shape despite having 41K miles. It was clean and everything worked. We put over 500 miles on the car in a few days with the a/c on the whole time and it worked perfectly. They have a wide variety of vehicles available, from cars to SUV's. It is conveniently located in Valley Stream, close to the 5 Towns area of Long Island. I highly recommend this Enterprise outlet to anyone.. read more

The Enterprise location at Valley Stream provided above and beyond customer service. Chanique, Derek and Michelle were very kind and made sure checking in my rental went smoothly and even gave me 4 minute ride to the Valley Stream LIRR since I was the first customer to return my car and it wasn't too busy yet. We got to our trip on time so I'm a happy customer! Thank you! read more

This is the best enterprise location around. I've rented from them a couple times when my car needed repairs and also for weekend vacations. I can't remember the name of the man who always helps me there but he's always super friendly and helpful and beyond professional and courteous. He was training an intern the last time I was there and he is a model example of how the employees should be treating customers. I'll post an update when I return my rental and get his name. read more

If I could give this place 0 starts I would. Absolute horrible management. told us that we'd be okay to put the $300 hold on the credit card and that it then they tried putting the reservation payment on my credit card as well. Enterprise is not supposed to do that and we wound up getting screwed because we didn't have enough on the credit card. I have rented plenty of cars through Enterprise and not one of them has put both payments on the credit card. Theyre liars and yntruthful from the start when I spoke to them. will not be going here again and wouldn't reccomend this place to anybody. read more

They were great! Manager was especially helpful with some paperwork issues I had. Great employees!

If I could give this place no stars, I would. I reached this enterprise branch with a reservation to only be told that they did not have any cars left (I got there at 8am). Which I found odd because they sent me a confirmation email, telling me they had a car reserved for me. When this branch was telling me they had no cars for (after flying all night) they didn't even bother to apologize or help my wife and I out. They stated that they called and left a message to inform us that there were no cars left, to which they did not leave a message and called us while we were flying. This branch is very irresponsible, and I would not recommend renting from this location. Essentially, my wife and I were stranded in a city we've never been before. The best they could do was give us water :) read more

Horrible very rude wouldn't even help me get a vehicle . When someone hit my parked vehicle knowing the insurance cover it I gave them the code well they could pull it up . Rude didn't want to assist me very disgusting . Shut this location down ‼ read more

I went to enterprise for a rental through my insurance company. This is the worst experience that I ever had with them. Maybe it's because of COVID-19 and social distancing but their approach is not practical. It's 90+ degrees outside. They have limited staff that's making the reservations and cleaning the cars as they need them while there are other people sitting in the office doing nothing. I asked if my baby can be inside because it's so hot, they just said no very bluntly. If I didn't need a car due to an accident. I won't ever come to this location. The staff is very slowwwwww. We waited 3 hours to get a car. There was probably only 10 people waiting on a car. There are people who are waiting on line and not wearing a mask. They are not even enforcing the rules. I was not a happy camper read more

Given the recent track record of reviews here, this seems like a rogue Enterprise location. They called me tonight after the branch closed for a reservation made two weeks ago and that was supposed to start tomorrow telling me they won't be honoring my rate. Avoid, hard. read more

Easy , fast and non complicated. I booked online , picked up my car, returned it 2 days later. Took all of 5 minutes both times! An employee named Wale helped me during pick up and drop off and he was pretty nice and explained everything well! Would def recommend. read more

The deceive you big time if you don't take your time to read THE CONTRACT listen to me I had a very bad experience and it was a good thing I record them because I would have lost everything and on stop of that the person that called me gave me a proper cuss out because I demanded answers. I am very disappointed and will never in my wildest dream refer anyone there. If by chance you see a good comment that's there friends and relatives. Enterprise Rent-A-Car - Car Rental Near Me - Valley Stream, New York

I will never use this business again. They gave me a car with scratches all over the back and front bumper. They said it's okay because NY Drivers drive crazy so I will not be responsible. Next, I get inside car and the tire pressure light is on. Why do I have to waste time putting air in tire? If you're renting a car to someone why isn't the car on point and checked out first before renting it to someone? So annoyed! read more

I rented with this location from 12/12/21 to 1/5/22 and my experience was very pleasant. This was an insurance claim rental, so I can't speak on their billing process. Nonetheless, the customer service was great from the start. I was welcomed and waited on by Victoria, Darnell and Bryan. Everyone was customer friendly and helpful. I got there on a Sunday about 20 minutes to closing and unexpectedly had to call the insurance company to fix a few things and Bryan was patient with me while doing so. Victoria processed my information quickly and Darnell explained everything precisely so I wouldn't be blindsided by the hold amount on my card. He also broke down the different types of rental coverages and which he'd recommended, and I appreciated when he didn't push when I made a selection I was comfortable with. I even received a courtesy call when they noticed the insurance company stopped payment, which I appreciated greatly because I was able to get on top of it before returning the car. Dropping the car off was a breeze. I'd recommend this location based off of the customer service. read more

I had an exceptional experience at this at this Enterprise Rent-A-Car most in part to the manager Bryan and his expert team, these guys are very friendly, professional and accommodating! I got a beautiful ford explorer for my friends and I trip and I to Atlantic City, the truck was like new, clean and operated very well, the rate was absolutely fantastic, I returned it the next day without any issues and couldn't be happier, I highly recommend enterprise in Valley Stream for whatever rental car/truck you may need for business or pleasure! read more

Total scam. Don't get your car from this facility. Everyone including J.J and Tyshan are doing nothing but trying to take your money. They advised me if I return my car past hours I'd be charged only 50$... THATS IT. I get my bill the next day and I got charged 50$+the additional day, plus 70$ to fill the tank. The car was a Nissan Sentra. Never is it EVER costing 70$ to fill that cars tank. Total scam. Stay away. read more

This place drained my positive enegy as soon as I entered. The staff is unfriendly and not really interested in helping customers out, let alone even being there! There's another Enterprise in Floral Park that averages $40 cheaper per vehicle! Also, the staff is actually friendly, compared to this place. Definitely not a place to rent a car! read more

This is my first experience with Enterprise and this location. I've only dealt with Hertz prior to this. The Valley Stream Enterprise location has set a new standard for my rental expectations. The service from beginning to end was excellent. The service people I dealt with (Mattie & Wayne) went above and beyond to make sure I was happy with everything. Long story short, I ended up having a billing issue when I returned the car and I went back in to address it. They remedied the issue promptly and continued their excellent service. Whatever is going on at this location should be duplicated everywhere. It is appreciated greatly. read more

It is terrible to be an establishment without integrity. Unfortunately, they didn't inform me of my date to return the rental and reported to the insurance company an end date of coverage. The day I received confirmation that my car was ready from the body shop and returned the rental I am surprised with a large rental bill in addition to the rental coverage paid by insurance for less than a month. read more

I've rented from many enterprise over the years, normally I always have an amazing experience from start to finish. Sadly, this wasn't the case at the valley stream enterprise. Booked a rental online, and showed up at 8:15 to pick up the car. Turns out they had overbooked and didn't have any cars. After they called around to find a car, I signed all the paperwork and was told that they would take me to the car which was in the queens enterprise location. At this point I was late for work, but put on a smile and enjoyed the ride with Michael who couldn't have been nicer. When I was given the car, we did the look over and found no damage. When I started driving the car is when it was horrible. The car reeked of Marijuana. Reeked to the point that I had to drive with the windows. When I dropped off the car, I explained the situation to the manager. She rolled her eyes, but when I gave the keys to her and she checked the inside of the car, she gave her sincerest apology and said the car would definitely need to be detailed. She offered me a free day or upgrade next time I rented from them. I will never rent from this location again because of that car. read more

What a horrible experience! I took my car to the collision shop a few miles away. The owner of the collision shop kindly set up my rental and appointment with this location. He advised the branch manager, STACY, that my rate was $30/day per my insurance company and provided a confirmation number. When I arrived at the location, she took my credit card and driver license without letting me know that she did not have a vehicle that could accommodate my insurance policy's rate. I'm confused as to why she didn't tell me this earlier BEFORE having me drive to the location and taking my PERSONAL INFORMATION. She claims she's only been her for 3 weeks so she's a new branch manager, perhaps Enterprise should consider hiring someone else with more experience. read more

Words cannot explain how nice everyone at this location is. They were so accommodating to me and my situation. I live outside they're pick-up area so the Branch Manager tried to call a location closer to me but they didn't have the type of vehicle I needed at the same price. So this location came to pick me up and when I got there I realized that my child's car seat couldn't go in the Cargo Van I rented. So the team got my rental situated, took me and my son home in a car, and brought my cargo van to my house. This is excellent service and I'm more than grateful. I'm a very happy customer and have pledged my future business there. Thank you to: Adam (my pickup Man) Candice Wayne Tim Maddy Jazz read more

I returned my rental here & they put a claim in with the insurance company for something I didn't even do. I was driving the rental one day & the rear view mirror feld down because the glue somehow melted & now they want me to fix it. I was actually trying to get money back for the inconvenience. These people are so unprofessional & shady. I would Never rent another vehicle from this company NEVER! Save your time & money! Go somewhere else! read more

We were long time customers. Was told they would match the price of Budget by phone. They took my name over the phone. Went to pick up rental because of an accident, employee was upset that I had said a curse word in his presence (this f***ing sucks is what I said) after he rudely told me I couldn't get the car because I only had a debit card and not a credit card. It was hard enough for me to get there, I have cancer and no car so had to walk a long way there. Needed the car so I can drive to chemo. Then I changed the rental name to my elderly father so he could rent it and he was told that was not the location of the rental (checked with enterprise corporate, it was the correct location). When asked where to go for the car the employee said they didn't know. Truly a terrible place. read more
