I don't know if there's been a management change, but my wife and I had absolutely no problems with this hotel. We were pleasantly surprised to find a hotel in Truro with smoking rooms so we were willing to stay there despite the negative review, and we're very glad we did. The rooms are very clean, fridge, coffee maker and microwave, the staff (front desk and housekeeping) were very accommodating and friendly and the location is pretty good with almost anything you could possibly need being within easy walking distance. Oh yeah, and a more than acceptable 32" LED TV was appreciated as well. Smoking room with queen size bed about $100/night, which is pretty much smack in the middle for what you'd expect to pay. Hope this review helps.

Perhaps 'nuff said on the audience They cater to. The woman at the front desk was rather short and I don't mean in stature. I later found out she totally shafted me in rate as a walk-in guest compared to the standard rate. Nice. Being new to the area and requiring hotel lodging for two months, if the building quality wasn't enough to direct me to other hotels, the overcharging was. Still, if all you need is a bed with clean linen then fill your boots at the comfort inn. Just make sure they charge you a reasonable rate.
